Re: What we can do now other than saying HODL?

Right now, we just have to sit back and watch whatever that is going on with cryptocurrency market. We should again hope that, the crypto market will return to normal. Predictions here and there are not helping since they end up being speculations. I think now we should keep on looking for more cryptocurrencies to add to our portfolio.

Ofcourse no doubt about that. Everything in crypto as at last year was very interesting. I quite remember last year as at this time, crypto was kicking and people were making lot of money out of it but now, everything is really bad. I am sure good times shall return again.

Re: Have you make money from ICO?

Well, I hardly invest in ICOs since I am much into participating in bounty programmes. Per the situation of the current crypto market, it would be best to invest in those icos which are performing well but it should be done at taking risk. If you can't I think you stay away from it because no one knows what will happen to the crypto market next.

Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?

Ideally we are in a world that in some countries, the least dollars you have, its equivalent into such a country's currency is a lot of money. Such people will quickly sell their altcoins without haste. I think such people are never affected by the bearish market that much. Because if that is not the case, I don't see the reason why people sell their altcoins cheaper than they are worth in this bearish market. Well some people might need funds to do something urgent hence the need to sell their altcoins.

Suicidal ideation

We are humans and for that matter, we are bound to all forms of psychological trauma when something is not going well. I have been wondering what some people who bought bitcoin since last year and early part of this year might be going through. For instance, somebody who bought 1BTC as at last year and he or she is in possession of it up till date, what do you think such a person might want to do to him or herself now that bitcoin has drain so heavily. I think such a person might be psychologically lacerated and thinking committing suicide. What do you also think and what advise will you offer to such a person?

Re: Crypto market in depression

Well, a lot of suggestions have been made regarding when the crypto market will recover but predicted times come and pass by with further dump in prices of cryptocurrencies. Right now, the depressed crypto market returning to normal I am sure will be like when the messiah will come back to earth. That is to say, the revival of the crypto market will happen at the appointed time. We just have to hope everything returns to normal.

Re: Black Friday Bitcoin special - Get it now!
by

I think selling bitcoin at 4k $ isn't a black market since 4k is the price bitcoin is selling currently. So by selling at that price, that is not a black Friday market. To sell something on a black market means selling that particular thing at a price lower than it is being sold.

Re: This is not the end of bitcoin

People come up with graphs and predictions as to what will happen to bitcoin in future but all these end up being speculations. Bitcoin might be experiencing hard times but that does not guarantee the end of bitcoin. Bitcoin will never die and for that matter, I don't see bitcoin to be ending.

Re: Will bitcoin be the currency of our future?
by

Bitcoin might have come to stay but looking at its level of volatility, I wouldn't endorse bitcoin as a future global currency. Aside bitcoin's volatile nature, there are some countries who are against bitcoin. This can also be a contributing factor to non compliance to the acceptance of bitcoin as a future currency.

Re: Why is the Crypto Market going down?
by

on 17/11/2018, 21:18:48 UTC
Who knows, maybe the crypto market is paving way for people to trade more coins that use to be so expensive. I am pretty sure that as most people are crying over the current bearish market, it will get to time, that same people will say to themselves, "If I knew I should have bought more coins and wait for a bull run". By then it would have been so late. I think the current crypto market is testing our level patient and courage with respect to investing in some altcoins. That is what i see to be happening now.

I had a glimpse of the good times in crypto at the forth quarter of the year 2017, so I can relate to your topic. This year has been really bad and I am hoping things can turn over so that good times will come by hopefully next year.

Re: Hold or Trade?

Right now, holding or trading with respect to the current situation of the crypto market seems not to be helping like before. Technically, rather than trading or holding, it is best to look for more tokens and add to your portfolio so that, when crypto market revives, you will have a lot of $ to reap.

Re: What happens when bitcoin becomes stable?
by
amphibian
on 17/11/2018, 16:54:41 UTC
Bitcoin in terms of stability has not achieve the landmark that we are expecting. Bitcoin value keeps on fluctuating in a downwards trend. I will say this is due to some people investing in more stable coins like USDT. Tentatively, people have channel all their funds to USDT since usdt has shown some level of stability in the current bearish market.

Re: bitcoin still dipping. What should we do?

Right now. I have to got to a stage where I have decided not to care about bitcoin value anymore. This is so because, the more you keep watching the value of bitcoin, the more you go through episodes of psychological trauma. So I will urge you to stop watching the price of bitcoin on daily basis. Instead, lets' hope that bitcoin will resurface in terms of its previous value.

Ofcourse, there is no essence on relying on the past to make judgement. Whatever happens to you in crypto in the past, you let it go away whether good or bad and focus on the prsent and the future. This will save you from all sort of psychological trauma pertaining to the current situation in crypto.

Re: I am most worried now

The current situation in crypto is really frustrating because, everything seems to be down. Right now, it is advisable not to be over reliance on some of your tokens. It will be best to secure other means of generating income outside crypto and I am sure the issue of you being worried will be limited. Right now, what we should do now is to accumulate more tokens and wait for cryptocurrency to revive again.

Re: What do you learn from crypto market

I have learnt quite a lot of stuffs from the cryptocurrency market especially in this hard times of the market. This bearish market has taught to desist from over reliance of some coins. It has again taught me on how to hold tokens for a considerable number of time before I initiate sales of my coins.

Re: If you had 10000$
by

on 13/11/2018, 17:04:05 UTC
$100000 is a lot of money especially converting it into my country's currency. If I have this amount of money and I am to invest with such money, I will split this money into three in the ratio 3:5:1. The first ratio will be invested into cryptocurrrency (counting house, bitcoinnet, and btc). The next portion would be invested into spare parts. That is, travelling to Korea to purchase spare parts to sell in my country. Spare parts business is really fetching people money in my country. The last portion portion of the money will be saved in the bank.

Per the options given, I am much iunterested in learning how to run a full node. Over the few months, a friend introduced me to these upcoming masternodes and I realize its worth running a node. These nodes seems to make people better as far as crypto is concern. I think I will have to do more research on these nodes pertaining to  how they work.
