Basically I had made a transaction of £146 for 20 btc via uk bank to bank online fund transfer.
The seller has not been replying at all. but has been seen online.

Has anyone been in this situation before and is there anything you can do to get the money back ??

I have been waiting on 20BTC for over 48 hours now. No messages or replys.

I hope you are right bombasticbitcoin, Im pretty new to buying btc but Its been over 48 hours with out any communication in it seems. I just hope it all get sorted out soon and that everything is ok on alwaysminings end.

Is it stupid of me to consider having 2 wallets, one for saving bitcoins which i wont touch and one to use for various spending.

My current idea is to have a wallet on the QT client. and one on blockchain.

I would use the block chain as say a savings account and use the QT wallet for general spending and buying BTC.

Sounds like a good idea or ?

Yesterday I bought a total of 15 bitcoins from MJB Monetary Metals in 2 transactions 5 btc and then 10 btc.

Both transactions were complete very fast, under 2 hours both times from my asking for a quote to receiving bitcoins.

Im very happy with the service provided. As someone from the UK who doesnt own a smart phone or a bank about that can do international wire transfers, I cannot think of a better way to buy bitcoins with GBP.
