Just keeps rebooting endlessly for me.  Embarrassed

Edit: Managed to stop it rebooting by disabling watchdog:

"Once the watchdog is enabled, it is possible to get in a reboot loop. If this happens, disable the system watchdog by quick edit of /etc/watchdog.conf after boot and comment out watchdog-device = /dev/watchdog. The cgminer API based watchdog script can be disabled by using the UI checkbox or commenting out test-binary = /opt/scripta/bin/wdog.py in the same config file. You will have about 30 seconds each loop to try and unscrew things."

Will report back on the stability later...

I've found that I occasionally get a much smaller hash rate than my actual one displaying on the website.  For example, multiminer is reporting 230 - 250 khs, but hashcows has thought I've been 50 - 100 for the last two days.

I really want to keep mining here, so can anyone give me any ideas on why this might be?  Thanks!

The hash rate displayed on the website is just an estimate based on how many shares you've submitted in the current round. It isn't really important; if your mining software is reporting 230-250kh/s and you have no hardware errors and a small amount of rejects then everything is fine.

I believe it isn't the actual payouts themselves that are causing people to worry as such, it's the fact that we don't really know what is going on, and more to the point whether the information we are being displayed is accurate. For the past couple of days it just seems to be all over the place, but I (as I'm sure everyone else does) appreciate the work you guys are doing and it is great that you are are giving us daily updates and keeping us in the loop! It makes times like this much less stressful for us (but probably more stressful for you guys!) Tongue

It's closer to working than it was 12 hours ago. Some stuff is still broken. Give it time guys.

Also, I believe the "my estimated earnings" for each round are still a bit off (I could be wrong though). Mine's saying I got paid out .0002 for round 5266 (about an hour mining DGC). I have 2600-odd khash. If that's accurate I'll be turning my rig off :-)

Thanks to the admins for the hard work - running this kind of site is not easy.

Same here, round 5266 paid 0.000129 BTC and I have 2000Kh/s

MSI 970A-G46 - How many supported GPU's?
by

As per topic title, I am trying to find out how many GPU's (7950) the MSI 970A-G46 motherboard can support.

It has 2x (16x PCI-e) and 2x (1x PCI-e) slots but can these all be populated (using 1x to 16x powered risers)?

Thanks.

Is the pool finding any blocks, seems like the whole network is being controlled by solo or a pool no one knows about
No blocks anywhere on any pools I have been able to find. Solo mining still shows blocks being found on the network. Crazyness. That is some serious hash power to shut everyone out.

Think it could be middlecoin? Hashco.ws show the current coin but middlecoin don't.

7970 @ 790KH/s litecoin / cgminer
by

Hi Guys,

My first post here. I've spent the past few hours looking around the internet and this forum in particular, for cgminer settings for a 7970 mining Litecoin.

I noticed that a lot of people are struggling to get past 600KH/s and even the people that do were maxing around 730KH/s. I figured I'd post my success at reaching a stable 787KH/s, and best of all my fan is only at 45% so the noise is bearable and the temperatures remain reasonable!

Details:
MSI Lightning 7970 BOOSTED Edition
Fan Speed: 45%
Core Temp: 77
Memory Temp: 78
VRM Temp: 76
GPU Power Draw: 250W (Down from 300W stock)

I would be happy to share my full cgminer and core/mem settings and to help individuals to try and increase their hashrate for a small donation of LTC. Contact me via PM.
