If they really were trustworthy, they would have communicated after their last January 21st message. Instead, silence for 2 months.. The result: utter chaos.
Then without warning they take the FB offline. They could have deleted the content (as it will be deleted by FB anyway, being Crypto-related) and just link to a free forum or a BCT thread.
Instead: there is NOTHING.
the idea behind this project is good. A lot of energy is lost due to the looking of only audio option in the videos like youtube.
The idea itself WAS good, indeed. They could have easily took over the other lending programs if they hadn't failed to get withdrawals and deposits working AFTER 01-01-2018.
Then announing and taking away features.. The half assed 30 day Hextracoin Golf lending program (where they actually paid for 22 days..
They essentially killed their own momentum. Had they just got deposits and withdrawals working, forgot the whole HXG fiasco.. They could still be here.
Now last week they deleted their FB /hextracoin/, so they even lost access to the 300k investors. A clear sign of failure and exitscam.
The weird thing is.. My then 7USD deposit i did to test after HXT fell, finally showed! After 2 whole weeks!
Not planning to invest anymore without sign of life, but bought 8.5k extra coin regardless with it.

The project has strong fundamentals and if properly implemented, this will be succeed.

Congratulations on the project. It has a successful ICO. May the project always developSure, the project failed almost 4 months ago though.. The ICO last year was successful indeed for them, but the project died January 1st 2018. (No one could sell or withdraw from that point forward)
There has been zero development for 3 months now. The last were added events that never were announced even and a lottery that showed up and was taken down again in a day or so.
I liked the project. It has a team of trust, in recent months I've seen 3 similar project. They did not have a clear purpose as yours. I wish you good luck in the financing.
Sure, the project failed almost 4 months ago though.. The team hasn't proven to be trustworthy. The purpose, as for all lending coins seems clear though: take as much from the investors before shutting it down/exitscam.
I was hoping they would turn it around, but the lack of communication/updates for 3 months and the sudden deletion of their FB Yesterday shows it's over.

I have to agree. One of their sites hextracoin.com is dead already, database error..
Also tried depositing a few dollars of BTC. None arrived.
if they were trying to attract new investors they would make sure it would show.
Also, they gave made NO public statement since January 21st.
Some posts show messages which seem to be from them, but no way to check.
Might as well be a fake account or just a photoshopped message altogether.

I think it's dead. HXT is now worth 0.00USD.. I sold my last profit USD to HXT at 0.04 USD.. Got 18500 HXT, worth 800USD then, now 37USD..

How can you guys still believe to invest in this coin? any exchanger for this coin ? i think no exchanges market, no product. I think this is a ponzy game.
No one here is saying they are investing or believing in Hextra. It was a good product 2 months ago, now it's non existing. At this point, it's just numbers on a screen. And i'll see it as such.
If they recover, great. Otherwise: i've taken the loss and learned not to invest in lending ICO's and sites anymore.
I watched a YouTube video of a different technique to recoup funds if they pull a BitConnect exit style by letting the US balance rise as much as you can. Wait until they cancel all loans and refund your coins. People will panic sell and you wait until its pennies and use your USD balance to buy some up. This could work assuming an exchange lists HXT or the alternative coins they may offer.
I'm partly using that option, setup a new loan of 30% of my coin. If they return i have a 50% chance, hopefully.
HAs anyone here been able to withdraw BTC or USD from Hextracoin recently? What could be done with the USD? Can someone help? Can it be only used to convert it into HXT or is there a better way to withdraw it?
Withdrawals haven't been working since the first day of January. People that claim they have were shown FAKE txid's and are STILL waiting. Read the Hextracoin FB page.
You can convert the USD amount to HXT. Nothing else. I stopped doing that though, because of the low rates, etc and no sign we can withdraw anytime soon.
What i did do: do a new loan of 30% of my HXT. If they return, i might be able to get some HXT out.. Some USD or both. If they don't return: at least i aint messing with reinvesting again.
It's already a loss for most, so just try to do what you can. Which is limited to invest or reinvest ATM.
Look the way dev ignores investors I really dont like it anymore. After the free-trade on May, the price will drop again to prevent you from selling this coin, I hope their dev better than that. Or this just a scam, but I dont know why it does shutdown the website like their familiar coin (Unix coin).

HextraCoin's road map is very beautiful, like the design style of your page, hoping to develop better in the future.
It would be more beautiful if they would actually FOLLOW the road map.. They deviated quite a bit. We are still waiting on most past announcements like external exchange, mining, staking, mobile app, etc..
With the total crypto marketcap shrinking to $322 billion from $800 billion at the beginning of the year, there is no way these lending platforms can operate efficiently in this down market. With all those of you who are spreading FUD about Hextra need to consider is that a lending platform thrives in a healthy market and people making loans. Without those elements, how can anyone be surprised that the platform wouldn't place measures to control the price and people dumping. These measures are actually an indication that they care about the project.

Now generally people just want to dump because they know the lending space has the fastest ROI. Do you guys think that helps the platform to grow? The next generation of lending platforms will be smarter and will likely use more tactics to prevent the amount of coins we can sell at a given time, control pricing, go under the radar and not draw attention etc.

It's a catch-22 situation.. Without loans/investments, there is no money to pay us. Without a working exchange and withdrawal system no one will loan/reinvest. I would happily reinvest at least half of my HXT, maybe even deposit some more BTC..
If i am satisfied that i can freely exchange and withdraw. I would even be OK if capital+interest from HXG loan would be forced to be reinvested in a long term loan. (The 21 day HXG loan got us into this mess..)

They fake the whole exchange statistics. The HXT amounts that are shown on the recent transactions have the same amounts everyday. The 24h revenue also shows 1 of 3 different amounts that are the same everyday. I think they just abandoned the platform and have a nice life with the ICO money

Lending is a separate branch of crypto market, which was fairly popular before Bitconnect crash.
And certainly there should be lending platform number one and today it's Davor.
And it very well could have been Hextra if they didn't fuck up so much and communicated properly.
I hope i'm wrong, but i'm expecting the next "communication" to be a 404 error..

Nope, if you manage to get an order listed, it stays there for a few days, then gets cancelled. There are no buyers at this rate. Sell price is the same as buy, so there are no takers.

While i agree with the faking stuff assesment, the fact that the dev's don't respond, is little to no proof: they never have communicated here. Only the ANN, then they abandoned BCT. They only communicate through their social media and even that is done poorly.
It seems they abandoned the project entirely now (no news/post in half a month or so), but they used to annonce something, had a maintenance window to implement things, return and then stay silent for days or weeks.. EVEN when shit hits the fan or anything until the next announcement. Most developers would fix in between and keep investors updated. They don't seem that motivated to keep Hextra afloat.
