I've heard many other ICO projects have worked with Origin Protocol. I think this project is very promising. However, this ANN topic is very quiet, very unfortunate.
In the telegram group this project has more than 37,000 members (https://t.me/originprotocol). There is a very active communication - discussion of news, forecasts, rumors.
We have a very active admin team which welcomes people and answers their questions directly... which cuts down on the rumors etc. Would love to have more active discussion!

Our minimum was $1k and max was $25k. Over 50% gone within 2 hours. Still a bit of allocation there but closing out very soon. Nice to be able to have a bit of a cap for people (not 1ETH) and time to fund (not a 5 min sellout gas war).

Re: [ANN] Origin Protocol: The Sharing Economy Without Intermediaries
I'm not a pro on token economics, but its certainly possible that a project building on Origin could be a "bigger" success than Origin. I.e. gmail is bigger than SMTP, some ecomerce sites built on Wordpress are "more successful" than wordpress. But that's all speculation...who knows what amazing projects could be built on Origin? I'd love it if the next amazon/trillion-dolllar-company was built on us
That would be amazing and we would love to see that happen!

Outside of fractional marketplaces, what about more traditional marketplaces like eBay, Craigslist, Yelp where it is a single transaction? Can Origin help with that?
We are building a protocol and time will tell what that is used for. I think it is best for sharing economy type marketplaces. We are taking a 0% commission fee so we see a ton of potential for any industry where you see a high commission (we are seeing 12-40% as commonplace). We hope a lot of different communities build their own marketplaces on Origin Protocol.
