Forkdelta is obviously better in any way then etherdelta. You don't need to create an order several times as on etherdelta. And it is actually not blocked for some countries as etherdelta, and you don't need to use VPN.

Re: [ANN][ICO] PolicyPal Network - Future of Insurance for Unbanked and Cryptoassets
by
andrii.povkh
on 29/01/2018, 12:29:35 UTC
Some quick checks that I have done on Policypal Network as follows:

- Policypal is the first to graduate from Monetary Authority of Singapore(MAS) sandbox. Singapore is known for its strict law and regulations. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (Abbreviation: MAS; Chinese: 新加坡金融管理局; Malay: Penguasa Kewangan Singapura) is Singapore's central bank and financial regulatory authority. So in order for Policypal to be able to be recognized by MAS, it has to go through strict regulations and supported with a history of past achievements.

- Policypal Network is being incubated by Paypal. One other ICO that is also under the Paypal incubation is TenX.

- Policypal has a huge network with some of its partners to be AIG, Aviva, AXA, Etiqa and NTUC incomes.

- CEO Val Yap is listed as Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia.

This project has so many strong points, I think it can be sold out on private sale.

It is a good idea to be verified by third party and use your verified identity in other ICOs.

Re: 95% of Cryptocurrencies will Not Survive in 2018

Yes, most of bad projects will not survive, and it is good news. Who is forbidding you to invest in good projects which eventually become new Apple? So in 2018 business as usual - go and investigate for yourself and find a good project worth investing.

Re: which exchange is best for trading

hi everyone i want help for trading which exchange is best for trading on mobile and low fees  Huh

Not everything is traded on all exchanges. You need to check on which exchanges the coin you are interested in are traded (you can use this website to search for the coin https://coinmarketcap.com/). And then you can choose the exchange available for your coin on "Markets" tab.

Re: Ethereum is so slow
by
andrii.povkh
on 10/12/2017, 21:43:41 UTC
Is there a problem in ethereum because all of the transaction is very slow. It almost take 2-3 hours before receiving the sent tokens. What is the cause of this issue? is this related to the dump price of eth

The amount of transactions increased very rapidly due to Crypto Kitties. You can see for yourself here (https://etherscan.io/txsPending), there are many pending transactions and the gas price for successful transaction is changed dramatically (I used GWEI 0.1 before and now you need something like GWEI 50 to get your transaction verified).

Re: More and more airdrop is a lie,
by
andrii.povkh
on 10/12/2017, 19:02:00 UTC
More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.

Almost all airdrop are trash, you can simply go to the first page on their Announcement thread, there are so simple and only talk about airdrops. All these thing are trash and when the coins accepted on etherdelta, the dev will dump all the coins. Only 1-2 project airdrops will become succes others are not.

Most of airdrops are complete trash I totally agree, but not all of them. I've been participating in almost 200 airdrops, and I sold about 10 tokens for a pretty good price, in total for almost 3 ETH. And if you consider I haven't put any money in those airdrops, that is an excellent profit.

Re: I have lost hope in ETHEREUM - Pending transaction won't complete
by
andrii.povkh
on 10/12/2017, 18:40:32 UTC
I have a pending transaction that just goes in a loop from an exchange and it never completes, thus I never get my money for days now. Is there anyway I can speed up this ruddy transaction as I need my money.

I read this but I can't do it, it isn't very clear.

If ETHEREUM don't fix their blockchain or allow our funds to come to us, how on earth can I trust it again? I have my money sitting in pending for days.

https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherDelta/comments/72tctz/guide_how_to_cancel_a_pending_transaction/

If someone can give me a proper step by step guide I will try to attempt it.

It wasn't a direct Ethereum fault for all those pending transactions. It was kitties madness that overflowed the Ethereum network with transactions. There is an upgrade planned for Ethereum, so after it is completed no stupid kitties will be able to ruin others people experience with Ethereum. Just send new transaction with higher GWEI (check which GWEI to set here https://ethgasstation.info/)

Re: Should I invest in a new ICO or just buy BTC
by
andrii.povkh
on 10/12/2017, 18:32:38 UTC
I posted this thread because I  have money right now and was thinking to like invest!
I wanted to know is it is beneficial to invest in new ICO, or should I just buy some BTC and wait for the value to increase.

Why do you consider only those two options? What about Ethereum? Buy Ethereum and wait for a good project's ICO with a big hype. Ethereum will go up, so you will gain profit, and then you can buy tokens for ETH on hyped ICO and make profit again. Isn't it better than buying BTC?

It is really hard to keep track of all news and all crypto currencies to be 100% sure when is a good time to buy each specific crypto. As a general trend it is good time to buy BTC or ETH, since BTC is going to grow for a long time, and ETH is really undervalued.

Re: How much GAS is required to get your Ethereum transactions processed?
by
andrii.povkh
on 10/12/2017, 13:26:50 UTC
As many of you will know the Ethereum network is having trouble processing transaction because of the increased volume created by CryptoKitties.
If you have had a transaction that processed recently please post how long it took to complete and how much GAS was used.

You can just open completed transactions list and investigate for yourself (https://etherscan.io/txs). Also there are websites which collect and display ethereum network stats, you can go there and check the estimate for your transaction and safe GWEI values (https://ethgasstation.info/). Also check how many transactions are queuing at the moment (https://etherscan.io/txsPending).

If you want to invest long term and don't want to be involved in high risks, why haven't you chosen BTC and ETH? All altcoins you mentioned are not popular indeed, I never heard of them. If you want to go with altcoins, then you need to do more research.

Re: When will etherum overload stop
by
andrii.povkh
on 10/12/2017, 13:02:00 UTC
Cryptokitties is causing a lot of overload on etherum network, when will this stop?

This situation with Cryptokitties clearly shows I know nothing about the world around me. Who could have thought that stupid game will cause such a problems in ethereum network. This game could have easily be created without ethereum, but they chose to use it, maybe it was planned from the very beginning.

Re: Small altcoins – large profits
by
andrii.povkh
on 01/12/2017, 14:50:44 UTC
Actually I don't understand why people went insane on BTC and want to make huge profit there, when we have small altcoins that have much bigger profit in percentage. You can quickly double or triple your investment in small altcoins, so why bother with BTC.
small altcoin not often give you profits, they have high risk of returning to zero if you have entered this market early and experienced much things, also, dump and pump is not the best way to make profits if you plan to do so

I'm not talking about all small coins, I mean small coins with a good project behind them. I made a good profit on such coins as PayPie, Viberate, RPX, LEND, and so on. Those by the way are not pump and dump tokens. Some of the small tokens dropped in price because of this madness with BTC, but it will end soon I hope.

Re: Etherdelta my favourite
by
andrii.povkh
on 01/12/2017, 14:41:22 UTC
not to be harshed but i think etherdelta is one of the worst online exchages sites out there. there were many bad feedback  and reviews of users around the net balantly accusing etherdelta because of poor service due to its buggy and verry slow interface, sometimes it also eats up your etherium balance without any valid reason, resulting for you to be clueless and ended up scratching your head.

Etherdelta has it's own cons and pros but I wouldn't call it the worst online exchages sites out there. I think many bad feedbacks and reviews are coming from not very advanced users whatsoever. Yes interface is slow and you can sometimes see the orders that are already dealt, but I use etherdelta for quite some time now and I never encountered the situation when etherdelta "eats up my etherium balance without any valid reason".

Bounty Hunters love EtherDelta. So i love EtherDelta too.
Here is my trick to gain more on ED. I look for nice projects like AION. All bounty hunters dump after distrubution then i buy when they are dumping lol Smiley
min %30 profit for a token is really nice .

I'm completely with you on this one. I have no idea why bounty hunters value their work for so low. They are ready to dump any good project's tokens for less then ICO price without a thought. But it is good for us who know how to value tokens.

Re: How to See the Future of Altcoin?
by
andrii.povkh
on 01/12/2017, 14:14:53 UTC
Let me ask you about what should I learn to know the future of altcoin. I heard some term like algorithm, dev and other. What factor which are make altcoin used by more people, i.e for trading, payment processor or others? For example, in my community most of people use dogecoin due to low fee. Any other factor than fee?
And....if new coin announced, how to see that coin maybe promising or not?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Look for the project with real world application which can offer something good and useful for a big community of people. Check for example PayPie and Viberate, they certainly look like good and useful projects and the fact that they are now traded for higher then ICO price is an indicator of success.

Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?
by
andrii.povkh
on 01/12/2017, 14:05:32 UTC
I don't think so. There might be a temporary pump but the magnitude of that pump can hardly be estimated. I think the average ETH price is going to be somewhere around 600 USD by the Jan 2018. If you are looking for opportunity to make x2-x3 profit then you need to pay your attention to ICOs (I mean a good project's ICO).

Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea?
by
andrii.povkh
on 30/11/2017, 14:56:20 UTC
Of course it is a good idea to invest for a long term. Take for example a good project with a solid team, their tokens go up in price as the project evolves. And the price can easily double or triple during 6 months period (sometimes it can be even more). So I would advise to go ahead with altcoins.

Re: Which exchanger is best?
by
andrii.povkh
on 30/11/2017, 14:42:11 UTC
I think the question can be asked from the other way. It depends on which exchange tokens are listed and traded. As for almost all tokens based on ETH, they can be immediately traded on etherdelta by contract address. And you don't need to undergo any verification process on etherdelta, which is a good thing is some cases. On the other hand, when token is listed on a big exchange, some may find it as a better option, since there are much more people ready for trading and volumes are higher.
