The word profit isn't a curse word the last time I looked.  At least not here yet.

I followed their group in telegrams, and there was information that this ASIC will be able to mine Ethereum until a certain time in August or September 2021, because they have limited memory for DAG.
I left this group because the manufacturer decided not to sell these ASICs.
Before making a prepayment, it is better to check the information in official sources.

That was with the 4k machines.  What I thought I was ordering was an 8k machine which they were talking about extending the mining time.
Also, I gave the real factory my email address and asked them to notify me if a machine came available on the next run.

You are absolutely correct.  I was STUPID not to check with the factory first before buying.  But then again, their own web page SUCKS
so it's really hard to tell what's really going on with these machines.

I hell, I didn't even roll the dice.  I just tossed them in the trash with this stupid move.

21 days?  NO.  They won't change it until at least DEC or Jan 2022.

at the current price that's over 30K in profits.  This isn't being "greedy".  It's being smart if you can get your hands on one of these machines
for less.

That was very rude to make such a comment by the OP.

I put myself on a waiting list for the Linzhi etherium miner and last week an email came through from info@linzhi-miner.co saying that they are in stock.  I paid $3,762.25 in BTC for the machine and freight.
Now I discover that this company is a fraud and non of the links work and the emails get bounced as delivery status failure.  This really hurts to lose this BTC.  How in the world can we ever trust ANY company to buy a machine from China if all of them are frauds?

[Order #421] (June 9, 2021)
Product   Quantity   Price
Linzhi Phoenix 2600 Mh/s 4/8 GB Batch 3

Shipping:   $111.25 via UPS WorldWide Express 4-7 Business Days

Hard lessons learned I guess.

The FBI managed to retrieve most of the $4.4 million cryptocurrency ransom payment in Colonial Pipeline hack.

Can they also confiscate YOUR crypto funds if they wanted to??

What do you guys think about this...

How about doing some research before you make a complete idiot of yourself?  BTC can't be hacked.  Leaving BTC in a non custodial account can be accessed though.

You had your chance to buy at $1.
You had your chance to buy at $10.
You had your chance to buy at $100.
You had your chance to buy at $1,000.
You had your chance to buy at $10,000

You still have the chance to buy NOW.

If you've failed all these times you deserve staying poor. No offence, but I think you had all the chances in the world. We can't make you rich by force.
I get the point that every one had their chance or still has a chance but, What about the circumstances?
What if they are poor and have an investment with crypto and due to unexpected circumstances they have no choice but to sell it even if they want to hold it?
Do they deserve to stay poor even if they are working hard to get out of poverty?

Donate to the local food bank if you feel sorry for the poor.  Don't shove your feeeelings down our throats.

Re: Apple announcing crypto emojis would move the price more than El Salvador did
by

Always surprises me what moves crypto, stupid tweets by Elon and Chinese regulation rumors cause massive price swings but strong evidence of mass adoption and its like nothing happened? maybe we just need america to wake up?

Those things aren't the cause behind the price swings, they are a trigger for existing price pressure. The market was going to crash with or without Elon & China, they just made the fall occur faster. The cause behind the crash is that there was simply not enough new buyers.

El Salvador news didn't change anything because buyers are still too cautious.

El Salvador's news didn't change anything because its a 3rd world country.

In terms of investment, Bitcoin is indeed superior to banks compared to banks.

Holding fiat in banks for investment purposes went out the window decades ago.

Hi everyone
I am new and looking for some advice.
I recently invested $1000 into Bitcoin and transfered to a miner and she mines and invests. I have watched my investment go up in the last seven days to $111060.00, firstly is this possible or does it seem too high?
Second question I am being asked to send $1000 to go through blockchain technology before I can withdraw, is this correct?
Lastly my acct is showing in USD so I have been told I can transfer straight from the company to my bank and it will convert to pounds, is that correct?
Very confused as to whether I have been scammed or not and trying to find someone who knows
Thanks for reading

You sir are being scammed.  Sorry you lost your investment.

Re: He said Bitcoin is a Scam: See What happened to Him
by

Cryptocurrency industry is an industry like other industries that need caution from the players. It was yesterday, one of the members of a WhatsApp group i belong made series of comment, and in all his posts he said Bitcoin is a ponzi Schem, people doing btc are thieves.

Well, as a crypto expert (to an extent) i knew what has happened to him and i needed to educate him on what he should know about bitcon. I asked him what was his basis for this kind of derogatory comments, he said i should never mind, i later gathered that he gave his money to another person to invest in crypto and the person screwed him.

I tried to explain and educate him with the following;

1. How to invest in bitcoin.
2. the importance of trading or investing yourself.
3. why Holding and Timing are very important.
4. why it is scary to entrust your cash into someone.
5. Why knowledge is one of the most important tool you need in this industry.

He later admitted that he made a mistake.

If you were in my shoe, what would you've told a person that says bitcoin is a ponzi scheme created to scam people?

Well done.  People like this need to be educated.

In Ron Paul's view, bitcoin is money, and it should be taxed as such. How do you view this information?

In the USA it's already taxed.

The darkweb is being used for illegal activities. Is the darkweb shutdown by any government?
The Tor browser and Tails OS are the main tools used to access the darkweb.
Are Tor browser and Tails OS shut down by any government?
The question here is HOW the governments can shut down Bitcoin mixing services? Is this even possible?
I don't see how any government in the world can effectively shut down all BTC tumblers, that are used by it's citizens.

Correct.  The best they can do is take down a couple of large mixing houses to make an example.  But that doesn't prevent anyone from mixing themselves.

Re: Will energy consumption be Bitcoins downfall ?
by
androyster
on 02/06/2021, 19:26:13 UTC
Energy consumption is much into discussion these days, and the big controversy is now once again getting shattered by Elon Musk. It is also stated that, banks now consume more power than the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. With time, efficiency is getting achieved on bitcoin mining equipments. Based on this I don't think energy consumption will set to be a big issue in the future.

Exactly. I don't get what the big deal is about Bitcoin's energy consumption, when existing financial institutions consume more energy than Bitcoin on a daily basis. It's all failed attempt to spread FUD in order to lure people away from Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Bitcoin can be much greener than what it is right now, if miners rely on alternative energy sources. Imagine how Bitcoin would benefit the environment if most ASIC machines relied on solar or wind energy. With how fast our world is changing, we might see this become a reality sometime in the future. Since PoW is the most secure (and decentralized) consensus algorithm to date, it's hard to believe Bitcoin will switch to PoS anytime soon. On the contrary, Bitcoin will remain as a PoW cryptocurrency while the rest of the altcoins will switch to PoS in order to "tackle" the high energy consumption. Ethereum will switch to PoS, and other PoW-based cryptocurrencies will follow as the PoS hype comes into fruition. I wouldn't worry about Elon Musk abandoning Bitcoin in favor for another altcoin, as long as the pioneer cryptocurrency as some loyal supporters behind it. Just my opinion Smiley

I was reading today about an electric automotive company that is building in a mechanism into their electric vehicles that will mine crypto while driving.  The future is now.

You said “Large companies are now investing in Bitcoin” - They have.

You said, “The value of Bitcoin has risen ”  - It has.

You said, “Tesla bought bitcoin” they did.

You said "We know there are millions upon millions of dollars involved around Bitcoin"  There is

You said, "We read books and articles about Bitcoin" We do.

So what part is fake news again?

LOL.  You're a nutjob.  And that's not fake news either.
