So this one is weird. I've tested it multiple times and couldn't reproduce the issue. Here is a quick screenshot. Was it something else?

Oh, that's a great catch. Essentially, in this case the order will get stuck, so we'll manually have to release it. I appreciate the time you took into testing it out. We are going to fix it ASAP.

Appreciate it. We spent a lot of time polishing it out. There are much more features we are going to roll out, but for now we're just making sure things work as expected.

ETH (and ERC-20 tokens) is in development. We'll release as soon as possible. Ethereum blockchain is pretty big in size, which is why we didn't want to bother with it until the basic LTC/BTC swap is live.


@coupable: honestly, this piece is something we forgot to hide. Account creation, as well as credit card processing, is currently disabled, as we wanted to release the first version of the platform as soon as possible. We'll turn it on as soon as the existing functionality is well tested.

As for the team. The entire project was built as a side-project by people who have full-time jobs. Since BitHub is only 2 days old, we're not ready to expose our identities, yet.

Has anyone seen open-source solutions similar to ShapeShift/Changelly?

Got it. It makes sense. Do you think they run full nodes to interact with wallets or use some sort of SPVs?

Does it mean that they hold some money on those exchanges? Otherwise they would have to transfer my coins to the destination exchange, make a trade and withdraw to my wallet, which would take quite some time and the rate could be significantly off from the original one.

They are not full-blown exchanges, like Binance. What's their architecture look like?

I'm not sure what you mean by "even binance wasnt able to do that". Within a year Binance became the biggest exchange in the world. Unless you're referring decentralization specifically. But anyways, we're not going to go the decentralized route yet, because this is exactly the way to fail these days. Instead, we'd like to focus on a set of centralized tools first. A viable business is a priority. If we ever decide to go a DEX route, a centralized foundation is a must.

It doesn't have to be a vanity address. The only requirement is to be able to create a wallet programmatically, eg from a terminal or with a library.

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a library/command-line-tool that would allow me to generate a public/private address pair for the most popular coins (ie btc, eth, erc-20 tokens, ripple, etc.) I've found vanitygen-plus supports a lot of cryptocoins, but it doesn't support ETH, for example. And if I want to generate an ETH pair, I would have to use some other tool. If I'd want to generate a ZCash pair, I would have to use zcash-specific library. So it becomes sort of a mess. Is there a one-to-rule-them-all solution?
