Great times networking at the Blockchain Fair Asia in Manila
A big thank you to the hosts of The Blockchain Fair Asia at the SM Aura Premier in Manila, which showcased some of the top upcoming companies providing blockchain solutions to improve the lives of those living in South East Asia, and as they expand, around the world. The two day conference highlighted organizations like SmartMesh, EventChain, Elastos, GCOX, Traxion, and more.

Henry Wang and Dr. Peter Yan of SmartMesh and Meshbox opened day 1 with their inspiring keynote on how their solar powered meshbox routers are helping people throughout the world who do not have access to basic human rights like electricity and internet. The SmartMesh technology creates distributed networks, the same used in blockchain technology, to allow cell phone users to chain their phones together and providing internet access to a whole town from one single access point.
GCOX finished off day one with their riveting speech on how they're providing tokenization to celebrities like Jason Derulo and Manny Pacquiao, the world renowned boxer and Senator of the Philippines. Pacquiao's PAC coin will be released on the GCOX platform in the upcoming months.
On day two I provided an educational speech on the current limitations in the blockchain industry which we will need to overcome in order to achieve mainstream adoption of blockchain technology, including increasing the overall computing power of Ethereum virtual computing, the transactions per second on most mainstream blockchains, and the identity systems to be built Into the core protocols of these networks. Overall the day was filled with insightful speeches from many promising companies changing the world through the fascinating technology. It was a pleasure to be apart of such an innovative and forward thinking group of minds.
