Over the past years, it's been a pleasure to serve the altcoin community. Thank you for all of your support. As of December 15, 2020, we are no longer hosting our block explorer.

Re: [HOWTO] compile altcoin for windows on linux using mxe and mingw
by
animalroam
on 14/01/2018, 20:50:03 UTC
Hello everyone.

I've been compiling wallets for different Linux distros and for the Raspberry Pi and I thought I might give the Windows wallet a shot.

I followed the instructions on the first post exactly and everything worked perfectly until the compile.

I used Blackcoin as the example suggested.

The errors are as follows:

Code:
compile@compile-HP-Compaq-dc7700-Convertible-Minitower:/mnt/blackcoin$ sudo ./compile-blk.sh
./compile-blk.sh: 1: ./compile-blk.sh: #!/bin/bash: not found
./compile-blk.sh: 4: ./compile-blk.sh: i686-w64-mingw32.static-qmake-qt5: not found
make: Makefile.Release: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `Makefile.Release'.  Stop.
compile@compile-HP-Compaq-dc7700-Convertible-Minitower:/mnt/blackcoin$

Now here is the strange part. I put the path in correctly, and it shows up fine when I display environmental list in the terminal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. Smiley

Code:
compile@compile-HP-Compaq-dc7700-Convertible-Minitower:/mnt/blackcoin$ sudo ./compile-blk.sh
./compile-blk.sh: 1: ./compile-blk.sh: #!/bin/bash: not found
./compile-blk.sh: 4: ./compile-blk.sh: i686-w64-mingw32.static-qmake-qt5: not found
make: Makefile.Release: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `Makefile.Release'.  Stop.
compile@compile-HP-Compaq-dc7700-Convertible-Minitower:/mnt/blackcoin$

I have same error

Has anyone figured this out? It seems to recognize but complain about permissions when not run with sudo (which makes sense), but when ran with sudo with the correct path, it is still producing that error.

When I echo path, this is the output:
Code:
echo $PATH
/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:/home/ubuntu/bin:/home/ubuntu/.local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin

Bitcoin has the advantage of being the first mainstream cryptocurrency and has a lot of technological power behind it, especially with the new projects coming up (i.e. RSK smart contracts). Although I'm not sure where the price is going to be, I think the younger generation will all know about it and the older generation will recognize its importance in the financial sector. Banks will continue adopting blockchain technology, but I don't think they will ever find a better use case for a blockchain compared with Bitcoin.

They can be found by clicking the wireless icon at the bottom right hand of your screen at https://richlist.cryptobe.com/020LondonCoin.

Please add 94.177.170.245 and 81.2.248.125 to your nodes - I've set up these other wallets on a separate server to facilitate connections.

Please also send me your actively connected peers.

I'm trying to set up the block explorer for BillaryCoin. Does anyone have any working nodes and/or are connected to the network? The one CryptoBomg gave did not work.

CryptoBE has just gotten a recent design update! The site is now completely mobile friendly and sports a sleek look. Richlists now display a visualization of the distribution of coins among addresses. Please refresh your cache if you are having trouble viewing the new design.

Electra users are the most active in searching up blocks on CryptoBE, so for any of you who may be experiencing display glitches the past 24 hours, please refresh your cache. A new design has been put up for the explorer and richlist at https://cryptobe.com/chain/Electra.

If I send a BTC transaction, will it automatically be broadcast on the BCC chain (i.e. if I send my Bitcoin on Blockchain.info to another address and then take the private key and put it in a BCC wallet and send it to a BCC address, would that be alright)?

If I send my bitcoin to blockchain now, will I receive bitoincash? Or it only applies to people who store bitcoin from the first

It only applies to people who have their Bitcoin before August 1st.

Sorry - is the Explorer down, or is the chain stuck again? (more than 15hours without new blocks)

Edit: cryptobe seems not to update, also for all other chain..

We're doing some sudden, unplanned maintenance at the moment, but we're trying to update in daily intervals. CryptoBE is on the new chain. The chain is operating correctly.

What's the current block height?

Echoing this - who has the wallet up and running?
