Re: ETH VS ADA
by
anjelaro
on 17/05/2018, 09:28:50 UTC
I think that both projects are going to be alive for the time to come, if it is a good investment? it depends, if the strong speculative period is over, we will see the real market value, based on business usage and capitalization. Of course there will always be a bit of speculation, but now we are far from being on earth&rational.

Being said that, I think that ADA have to prove a lot, as someone said, ETH is mature so we know what it is capable of. However, as we all now, once you are mature changing is more difficult. Therefore, ADA has a little adaptive advantage, they can still design themselves around the new needs in the blockchain space. However ETH is proven to be working right now.

There was a report shared here where some researchers claimed that they can prove the many people are holding hacked bitcoins. But it was found to be a fake claim, I think it is impossible to create fake bitcoins also.

It is nice to see that prices are recovering, it will bring relief to people who have invested at high levels. I am going to hold my bitcoins for 3-4 years so small price movements make no difference to me.

Re: Why bitcoin transaction fee keeps increasing?
by

on 02/05/2018, 07:07:01 UTC
Bitcoin fees depends mainly on the network congestion, in simple words how many other transactions are happening currently. When bitcoins was at its peak , $20000, the transactions took hours because of this reason only.

I am happy that he is going to face legal action for manipulating new investors. These kind of people do a lot of harm to crypto community as they affect the trust of people.

Can I earn bitcoin without investing? if it can be done, how? really need it cause I don't have money now.

Only way to get bitcoins without investing any money is by participating in signature campaigns. There are some campaigns which pay $100-$400 per month in bitcoins depending on member rank.

Bounty campaigns should not be considered as source of living as they are not regular. You should treat is as extra income only. For trading, start with a small amount first.

Those scaling issues you mentioned need to be solved for mass adoption. Last year when bitcoin was at its peak, we had to wait hours for the transactions to go through.

new coins that have come a lot in the crypto world have an impact on the market price. however, after the arrival of the same ripple operates behind the blockchain.
will this coin replace BITCOIN or BITCOIN will continue in its position and remain the king of all coins?

Good joke, there is no choice that Ripple is going to replace bitcoins. Most of the ripple is owned by the owners and that makes their intentions clear.

My only regret is not spending my life savings on Bitcoin back when I first learned about it, when it was going for $15 a piece.

Oh well.

Many people have similar regrets after seeing the success of bitcoins. They can go for alt coin and expect it to be next bitcoin.

Re: $50,000 Bitcoin In The Next Couple Of Months?
by

on 09/04/2018, 16:38:26 UTC

In his latest video, Mike Maloney ponders the questions 'Could Bitcoin hit $50,000 in the next couple of months?' and also, 'Is Bitcoin in a bubble and could it crash?' You may be surprised to hear how Mike answered these questions and the action he has taken accordingly.

Click here to watch this video:

I would like to comment on the later part calling bitcoin as bubble. It is baseless statement in my opinion. And how can we trust someone with a blogspot blog.

Re: What to do with our new found wealth???

I'm currently investigating how to stay under the radar with regards to the profits made from crypto.

So, let's say we made millions, how do you get some of the money back to fiat, but without making waves with the government.

Added, I stay in a corrupt country where large scale government corruption is the norm.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: Is the idea of crypto not to be anonymous.

One of the ways to do this is to transfer to wallets of relatives and take sash from them. But there is still some risk of getting caught as someone may report you.

Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold

Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

And also keep in mind that bitcoins is just 8 years old while gold has existed for more than 1000 years. Shows the power and potential of bitcoins.

Re: What is your best investment strategy?
by

on 09/04/2018, 16:09:48 UTC
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley

I am not investing any money in gold, I am investing in crypto and most of my investment is for long term. Rest money is in mutual funds.

Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Why you think that all countries will follow this ? Especially , developing countries where there is lot of illiteracy are not going to follow this as many people prefer cash there.

Who owns the bitcoin after someone died?  How to state this in the will? Please share your thoughts.

If you leave the details of your investment like private keys, then your family members can access that money. Otherwise that money is lost forever.
