Re: BMW now accepts Bitcoin as a payment!
by

There is a perception that Bitcoin investors don’t spend their Bitcoins, they hold on to them. However, it is also the case that there aren’t many opportunities to spend them, at least not for everyday items.

However, luxury items are a different matter, and with so many Bitcoin owners having a substantial amount of assets, businesses selling high-end goods are increasingly looking at ways to target the Bitcoin owners’ market.

Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

In Ethereum vs Bitcoin battle, if I had to choose one, it’d be Ethereum! This is because it has unlimited use cases, whereas Bitcoin only tackles payment and banking issues. Bitcoin may have a better position in the market, but Ethereum has better technology and a bigger potential.

Re: What problems can Bitcoin & Blockchain solve ??
by
ankurguta87
on 27/07/2018, 05:10:41 UTC
blockchains (e.g., those used by bitcoin or ethereum) enable two people or organizations to confidently and securely transfer value (e.g., money or a digital asset) electronically from one person or organization to another without an intermediary (e.g., a bank or PayPal).

a side note, technically, the blockchain solved the Byzantine Generals’ Problem, but since the question asked for problems it “generalizably” solves, this is very simple, non-technical answer.

Re: Future of crypto currency will be bright in India
by

Its very difficult to say what will be the immediate impact of the RBI Ban (if) implemented on July 5th. Since the RBi Circular gave us a deadline, we are on a very tight clock. The short term impact should be pullback by casual investors who will be the first to flee before the deadline hits. Hardcore investors will stay on unfazed as they know this is the beginning of the boom and not a bust.

The long term impact won’t hit the crypto market in any way. India plays a relatively small role in the global cryptocurrency market with only about 2% of the global cryptocurrency market cap. On the other side, most home grown exchanges will shift their servers and operations abroad to crypto friendly countries.

At what point will the market be saturated? Is it possible to keep attracting new interest at ever-higher prices? Doesn’t this mean
the latecomers will miss out on big gains?

Won’t things get saturated with diminishing returns at some point? Maybe there’s a cabal of billionaires willing to manipulate the
price ever higher on low volume? And/or, maybe the joe public adoption will increase rapidly to bring in the new fiat needed to push us to the moon?

Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble?
by

obviously not. bitcoin bubble was burst few months before and now this is the time for investment. my most awaited decisions are yet to come like regulation in india, etf [sec] etc.

better to invest and keep it for 6 month minimum. do it before its too late.

Atonomi, Eximchain, XTZ are very good projects. They have a strong team. These tokens are listed and currently less than ICO price. So can be considered as
a good buy for this time.

India’s law reform committee is in favor of Cryptocurrency
by

The law commission of India, which has been studying the feasibility of sports gambling, has clubbed virtual currency with other legally accepted modes of payments.

These methods used for settling online transactions can also be used for betting on sports if and when made legal. Lets see the court decision in September.

Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years?

Big banks are taking notice too. Goldman Sachs (GS) has said it will begin futures trading in bitcoin contracts, a move that should ultimately be good for bitcoin and other leading cryptocurrencies that rely on blockchain.

Volatility may decrease, which isn't great for traders and speculators, but the involvement of Goldman Sachs and other big Wall Street firms is good for the long-term. Bitcoin is down this time, But it still may be the future of money.

Ubiatarplay is on of the top notch project. I was very impressed and supported them through signature campaign. But I can understand why they are doing like this.
I hope we should have a contact with them before taking any hard step.

It depends on how do you compare them and what do you want to use them for. Ethereum is better than Bitcoin and Bitcoin is better than Ethereum at the same time.

They’ve made several completely different design choices and as with every choice it opens some opportunities and closes dosens of others.

Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency in the world behind Bitcoin. It's been actually growing a lot faster than Bitcoin. BTC has grown around 300% in 2017 but ETH is up about 4000%.

Re: A lot of hacks, whats the solution?
by

on 23/07/2018, 05:12:12 UTC
its been half of 2018 and we have seen a lot hacks issue in crypto industry, exchanges, pools, traders everybody is being affected by this hacks.

what is the solution as i see hackers will not leave this chance as this industry is still in development mode( early stage).

is DEX are solutions for traders, let me know !
BTC

Decentralized exchanges provide a more secure and fair way for users to exchange digital assets for a whole host of reasons, and as the general public grows in blockchain savviness, we’re likely to see a move towards holders of digital assets wanting more control and security in their engagement with exchanges.

Among the most pressing issues with an over-reliance on centralized exchanges is security. Every week it seems, there is a new report of a major hack at a centralized exchange, with stolen amounts ranging in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Re: What factors make Bitcoin rise again?
by
ankurguta87
on 21/07/2018, 05:55:39 UTC
this is a game of demand and supply. bitcoin falls was initially started from the day of china ban. after than indian ban is also afftected a lot. infact there are more buyers in india then usa while it is not much popular in india.

case is in indian apex court regarding ban of rbi in india. if it comes positive then that will be a huge win for btc market.

I checked it on yobit and you probably saw "BAM" on their trade market.

But that is BAMIT not bamboo, they are different correct?

Correct, BAM is for BAMIT, My mistake. Now Bamboo is clamming same ticker as BAMIT which is already reserved.

I have seen many ICOs even after completion they take few months to list on any exchange. How this Bamboo ICO is already listed on Yobit while ICO is in white listing phase.
