They are always say it is because of speculation but some say it is demand. For me, they are only valuable if they have really that significant use like what Steemit has done.

the coin which have a great potential and has a great future is bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most leading crypto and number one company in the whole world.
Therefore they have more chance that they can dominate in the future and have a outstanding performances.

I think that many creators of new coins just want to earn money, although the coin may not carry a unique content, a lot of people earn money to create a new coin!

A current fall in prices of several alt coins, may be a good time to buy. I would say that it's better to keep your coins now or what is even better buy some new ones. Sell on the bottom is a very bad idea. It would be better to take a great opportunity to buy some coins for reasonable price while the market is down.
