Re: What's your recommended crypto allocation?

Hi all,
the recent bloodbath pushed me to start investing in the crypto market. My current position is approx. 33% BTC/ETH/EOS. What would be your recommendation for a balanced crypto portfolio for the next 6-12 months?
Thanks!

Exactly that although I would maybe put some in Decred also. Investing in top10 is very profitable in the long run.

Re: What comes to your mind when you think of Japan?

I love japanese rides. I owned a 1994 nissan sedan that still runs and is in good shape. I own a honda scooter for my daily activities. I love using it since it is economical and parking is not a problem when you go to the groceries or supermakets. I even have an old super four bike. It is a 1991 project big 1 unit that I have purchased recently and had it restored and I made it as my weekend ride. When I think of japan, I think of my car and my two motorcycle. There are lots of things that come across my head when I think of japan but the aforementioned were always on my top list

Japanese cars are awesome. I rode Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X few years ago and I was impressed by the quality.

What was the amount with which you started trading
I mean your very basic investment and was that your extra money or required money?
my amount was 0.005 bitcoin when i was first time enter in crypto market i was don't have experience oftrade and i lost my this all investment but i invest more 0.005 bitcoin for trade and after that i learnt about trade and then i recovered my all lost.

Pretty much the same story. I lost most of my first investment but learned a lot since then. Experience is invaluable.

Yes, when you are eager to start, just invest any sum of money in the cryptocurrencies you like. In case, when you have under 200 USD, buy altcoins under $1.

I agree. If I were to enter crypto now for the first time, I would buy Cardano as much as I can.

Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit?

People who take risks, whether they make a big profit or lose a lot of money. and I think taking the risk is always necessary to make the biggest profit, because there is always a risk involved with the trading field, and you do not know whether the price will go up or down for a coin or token

Acually there is a way to make profit with minimal risk. You can buy cheap coins that you really believe are going to skyrocket or you can invest in ICOs. ICOs are risky but profitable.

Re: If you have $1000, How would you invest it?
by

1000$ is so small amount money to invest, Id rather chose to save it and earn even more

A small amount?
With few good trades you can easily double the money in few days. You can turn 1000$ into 10000$ in very short period of time if you invest in good coins. Don't even need to trade, just hodl.

By planning our trades and having a proper risk management strategy, we should know our potential profit and maximum loss before we embark on any given trade.

Maximum loss is the most important thing in trading. If you're OK with the potential loss then go for it. That's why I invest in some ICOs, it's risky but it can be very profitable.

I invested free money that I could lose. I do not take loans to invest in cryptocurrencies and sleep well:))

Amen to that. I'll never understand people that take loans to invest in market trading that is unstable and volatile like crypto.

I always see the country of Japan is a developed country. and many people are experts in creating sophisticated technology. like cryiptocurrency .

If you're referring to Satoshi then you may be wrong on that one.
No one really knows if he's Japanese, Chinese or some other nationality.
Nonetheless Japan is very technologically advanced.

A good reminder on the recent hack  incident on Coinrail. Just like that famous tip that everyone will give to you, " Only trust yourself". Don't trust any exchange or trading sites but only yourself. Even Binance which is the best is still vulnerable to hacking.

Yeah, you should be careful especially with big exchanges because there's a lot of money there and hackers strike where they can get most money.

not holdings coins in exchange for a long time is one of the best advice and it is not advisable to hold in the wallet as well better to hold, in Ledger wallet

Daily traders just can't do that. It's much of a hassle to transfer it every day. Neither is profitable. Some other solution must be devised. Exchanges must be controlled somehow, they must be accountable for their actions. But in order to do so they would need to be centralized and the whole point of crypto is the exact opposite of that.

I don't practice holding coin in exchange for a long time. Because some exchange was hacked and many coin are stolen. So i am afraid it would happen to me if i hold my coin in an exchange for a long time.

Sorry to hear that mate.
Although I get you it's hard to trade if you get your money off the exchange.

Re: Where is your "Dream Place" to travel?
by

on 09/06/2018, 08:29:19 UTC
If I will be given a chance to choose at least 2 places that i want to add in my bucketlist are Paris and  New York. It is just my dream to travel those places and I have been saving money to be there:)

I chose Paris because it is just so beautiful, the food, place and art is highly appreciated there, and of course Eifel tower is there too!

And New York because I might sound crazy but I am so into this tv series called 'Gossip Girl" that i want to see the places they shoot the scenes in the show!:)

I hope to travel these places before I turn 30 and hopefully to be with someone that he/she is worth travelling with:)

Anywhere with water, beaches, sand, palm trees and beer.  Grin

and the music ...

"I have seen the light
It was always shining in me
Walk down of the light
Now i'm in the glorious country

Time and places they don't matter
All reality is shattered
And tomorrow is the first day of forever ..."

Actually the first thing that comes to my mind are samurai.
Japanese are hard working but very strange people. I would love to visit Tokyo some time.

If you wish to hold some coin then use exchange only for during exchange. Just exchange your coin and transfer on your personal wallet that you have controlled. Specially you can use hardware wallet.
Because many exchange hacked buy hacker. Many people loss their capital by hack.
So please don't hold your coin on exchange for long time.

The only problem about exchangers is that, sometimes they are penetrateable or maybe there is a monkey business on their own system which they tell users that there is a bug just to steal the coins of other investors and that is the reason why we should not place our coins for a very long time.

If they wanna steal your money they'll do it regardless of how long you hold your money on the exchange. They can just say that the transaction doidn't go through and that's that.

I want to visit Earth like alien planets within our Galaxy.

In short I don't I want to die. I want to achieve Immortality. I'm hoping they discover the cure of aging within my lifetime.

Eternity can be a very long and boring time.
Nope. First thing I would do is crack sha256. Then I would count all the atoms.

Why waste time on that trivial things.  Grin
I would go to infinity and beyond.

I think you should have 1000$ that to start trading and buy some tokens on hold. It the best way to earn some money on profits
That's too much for someone that doesn't know what he's doing.
300-400$ is more than enough. Even if you lose all of it at least you'll learn from your mistakes but you won't dwell over it.

Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin?
by
anthonydav
on 08/06/2018, 20:31:59 UTC
I think 0.1 BTC is the minimum investment. But do not invest all your money for BTC. Because in the far future, BTC has bubble
That's too much. 750$ is a lot for a beginner to play with. 0.04BTC is ideal. Not to much not to little. BTC isn't a bubble. It does go up and down i waves but it isn't a bubble.
