I have the exact same problem right now!
I only have one at the moment, but had to disconnect for a few months and now it doesn't do anything. The reset button doesn't respond, the lights are fixed blue all the time, ethernet lights blink but nothing on the router side and it's consuming around 300W.

I know the issue is on the controller board, but besides a physical examination I can't do much. I found a controller that looked burned and replaced it but still dead. When I change the board with other one it works so I know the hashboards are fine but I don't have any spare controller to use...

Are you able to detect them in your network? How do you want to use eeprom?

One of mine recently died. It makes noise but the ethernet lights dont blink. I've replaced a small controller chip that burned but still dead.

I have a Antminer from November(?) 2017 and it has given me some headaches.

The day the warranty was over one of the boards died. First it started showing the "x" on that board until it just disappeared entirely. I changed the cables connecting the hasboards to the controller board to make sure which was wrong and I've been mining only with 2 boards.

Now a new issue came up. All chains disappeared:


I've dissasembled it many times, changed the cables and the sockets on the controller board. Tried a couple different pools, nice hash, prohashing.... In every one it connects, the pools says the miner there but with no hash power.

Did the remaining dashboards just died?
Anyone has a solution for this?
Do you think one of those alternative OS can put this working?

ASIC não é uma marca nem um modelo, se achavas que sim recomendo mesmo que não compres nada.

As taxas alfandegárias para componentes de computador é 0%.
Pagas IVA 23% e depois uma comissão de desalfandegamento que no caso da DHL são 30€ + os dias que estiverem a ocupar uma prateleira na alfandega.

Melhor é mesmo o mercado de usados Ebay ou OLX.

Isso vem de Hong Kong por isso vai passar pela alfandega.

O melhor é comprar no Ebay e afins que já estão na Europa

The version you see is the UI version, not the firmware that UI is the same.

there is a file inside the miner that has the firmware version but I can't remember the path to it, however if now you have the temperature showing up you've updated it.

As you can see everyone complains about L21. They just suck  don't know about L3, never had one.

I had similar issue with a miner but never managed to use that port.

The USB port is not USB, its TTL and requires a USB to TTL serial transcoder but they were never able to provide me the correct pinout and specifications. If you go by trial and error you can burn the board.

Eventually I managed to get the miner running after series of reboots using the reset button and a lot of swearing and infamous treats 

I bought from 3 different batches and have 2 different psu, but the weird is that they don't work with Bitmain PSUs
