Don't know, how Russians feel them, but from the side, it looks like a really stupid idea. It gives NOTHING. Just made Telegram more popular and VPN services richer

Agree
All my friends from Russia just use VPN now
But rumour has it that their government are planning to ban VPNs too Shocked

They have also been bad with their ratings at times when high quality of the project was very obvious. In that case they probably did an independent rating. Question remains whether they take money from some projects or not but I doubt that we will ever find out.

Definitely questionable and the biggest issue is that you should always assume they bought the coins they are talking positively about to then sell them after you read their ratings. Not very good.
I personally look through some sites with ratings from time to time. But I don't completely focus on them because not all ICOs with high ratings are guaranteed to be successful.  I rely more on the team, the telegram, wp and so on
That is the way to go. Once I witnessed the ICO that has a very good rating from Icobench but they failed to reach their target even the softcap  Angry

Quite a lot of countries mentioned here. Others are just asking to confirm you are not from China or the USA. Quite a bothering trend - to know that all these countries reject ICOs and crypto or stigmatize them as "illegal"

The rumour has it that 80% of ICOs are scamful, that's why they are prohibiting. I even came across such a "study" recently.

Another thing is that no one wants to analyze the projects and put some efforts to getting the details. It's much easier to blame the project you invested in that acknowledge that it is actually you who bears all the responsibility for investing.

Sorry for digressing in this thread, it's just a very painful topic for me
Yeah, i read this article too. They picked the ICOs that had a minimum market cap of $50M and were expected to go into active trading and categorized them into six different groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, and Successful. The study results reveal that of the whole pie, a whopping 81 percent of the ICOs turned out to be scams. Another 6 percent fell into the Failed category, and 5 percent had Gone Dead, taking the total for “Failure to List” group to 92 percent.

I didn't know that and it is also impossible to verify whether they are independent or not. We all know how the three big ratings agencies did their job right before the financial crisis Wink They claimed to be independent, but obviously they weren't.

The one thing I really don't like and don't understand in ICObench is rating. There are several of so-called "experts" who have no idea about the tech behind blockchain and ICO. So they review projects and making grades for each project, but some of this experts are obviously don't know what these projects are about.

Yeah, this rating system is ridiculous, some great projects has 3.5-3.8 rankings

Can I mine your coin?

Miners verify the transactions, they put this in the white paper.

My question to the team: how is the bonus on mining calculated?

Greetings. What mechanisms are you using to ensure security of transactions? Blockchain is good, but is that all?

Also, any pre-sale for investors?

apmapm12 SCAMMER!!!

Welp. Got too eager and started making deals before the password reset wore off. I kept telling myself that would happen. Sad

Plus side - I made $1000 off of this run in Amazon and PP, got some mining gear, spare PSUs, bought several computer parts I could give to people who couldn't afford it. I think I did okay.

Getting a $1000 return on a $50 account isn't too shabby. Smiley

Before I log out of this account for good, let me clear the air. I really did want to unload $232 in PayPal legitimately. It was leftover from a PayPal MyCash card. Withdrawal limits are lame. I had no intention of filing a chargeback, as I didn't intend on even having that PayPal account open for very much longer. All it takes is one chargeback to ruin my day. =/

Alrighty. Off to the next account. Gonna stick to quietly PMing for a while. Plenty of cards and coins out there to plunder. Yarr. XD

PS - Start implementing restrictions on people selling accounts. This is laughably easy.

Guy was pretending to be scammed hoping someone would feel sorry for him and send first. Then he scams.
I think it was probably actually to build trust. He was hoping that by being a "victim" of multiple scams he was hoping that the eventual buyer would believe him when he said he sent the bitcoin.

The problem is that anyone who has enough trading history to have a good amount of trust will know to verify the receipt of funds prior to sending funds of their own

The thing is that it would have worked with me potentially, because if he would have dealt with me I would have sent first to show I was legit about unloading my PP balance. Oh well.

Shane my offer still stands. Sorry to hear you were ripped off, u should only send first to highly trusted members and not large amounts either. Use a middle man to escrow. I'll take whatever you have left. U can use any trusted escrow u like on here to complete the transaction

Deal. Set it up. I have 2.54 left.

Sweet, just let us know who to use as escrow unless u want to do it here publicly I'll post my BTC address and go with that. Ur choice bud

Post publicly. How will you pay?

I'm gong for broke. Maybe someone on here is honest.

Spartan is honest. That's not the issue. The issue is that two other supposedly reputable people have "scammed" you, but you didn't show proof. You copied and pasted text.

Take screenshots and show them here or on a scam accusation thread.

Prema Suresh was the name on the Paypal account.

If you guys want to keep some lowlife scammers on your forums, fine fuck it.

And I told you already, I would have taken $232 in BTC via PayPal balance in about 60 seconds. All you had to do was either send the coins or get an escrow, and you would have $232 in PayPal sitting on your account.

You basically picked everyone BUT me to do business with, and you suffered as a result. =/

This is so frustrating.

Well my theory is that the OP is either trolling/making up the fact that he is getting scammed or that both you and HBOGo actually scammed him. I am somewhat leaning towards the former as I find it hard to believe that someone would be so stupid to send that much bitcoin with such a little amount of security

He could be making it up to get someone to send first and then he vanishes.

I did not deal with this guy.... I tried to add him multiple times and he never added me.  I don't know what is going on here, but whatever he posted is not me.  And if he did it again, its either OP lying, or someone impersonating people on Skype.

They knew your wife and your open scam thread against another user? And your trade history?

That isn't my btc address? Mine is posted on my profile

You have to be kidding me. You took my money and blocked me.... ballsy.

He even sent me money from a verified PayPal account... but I think that might have been stolen too.

Post the name on the PayPal account.

Stop sending first to people with no or little trust and use escrow. I know you're looking for a "quick" deal but look at all the time wasted with these scammers.

This. I literally told you repeatedly that I was looking for a quick transaction and escrow would be fine.

You removed me from Skype because I only have $232 as a balance and would have to do a bank transfer for all of the coins. You should have sold $232 and been more patience.
