Hello Everyone   Smiley
first post!!

i am running 2 rigs, all cards are RX 580 8g armors, Windows 10 with claymore v15, both rigs stopped working when the ETC epoch hit #379
All GPU's  "not enough GPU memory to place DAG, you cannot mine this coin with this GPU"
"OpenCL error -61 - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG"
"OpenCl error -38 - cannot write buffer for DAG"
server: accept failed with error: 10004

my virtual mem is at 55000
AMD Drivers 19.9.2
im using AMD software for tuning GPU's "GPU 1165MHz, 853mV" "Memory 2080MHz, 853mV"

Now when i update drivers to either latest 20.9.2 or drivers back to near beginning of the year i can mine again but now the hashrate is 19.2
Without tuning gpus i get 22.4 hash

Before #379 my hashrate was 31.3

In my bat file i have "-eres 0 -epsw x -mode 1 -r 1 -strap 1 -rxboost 1"

looking forward to solution
thanks

rdeon settings => Settings => Graphics => Advenced => GPU Workload = Compute

Already have on Compute

It looks like your problem (and everyone's mining ETC) is that Claymore will only mine until epoch #384 for any Etash algorithm (ETH, ETC, Expanse, Pirl, etc), and ETC has almost reached that point (epoch #383). You can check the DAG file and the epoch on this site: https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size. ETH is near to reach an end too for Claymore mining and for 4GB cards on December 24th. You could start mining other coin like Ravencoin and stay tuned 'cause I read ETC is about to downsize the DAG file to increase the network hashrate by allowing 3GB and 4Gb cards to mine again. I guess It will attract old asics too. Hope this information helps you in some way.

I've counted 34 collaborators/meritors for the miner (take a look at the header of this thread). None of them has contacted Claymore to let him know about the problems the miner is having? If there's not a fix for the recent issues, this miner is dead. It's very sad, this is one of the best and easiest programs to use for mining.

First: increase virtual memory to, at least, 80000.
Second: If you are unistalling drivers, are you using DDU?

Increase virtual memory to, at least, 80000. It should do the job.

Hi guys, hope you are doing well today.

Wanted to know, any chance to ask Claymore to update his drvfee address? As Dwarfpool is not working anymore his mining configuration may be affecting the mining process and dropping the hashrate more than it should. I don't know if that's just me, but in my case the hashrate drops significantly everytime the rig wants to connect to his Dwarfpool mining address as the pool is not working anymore. Anyone can let him know? please.

We asked him to fix this many times in the past. I also had issues with the Dwarfpool dev fee issues. I also had other issues where it fails to mine on the dev fee pool and eventually stops mining all together because the software thinks you are trying to cheat it. Very annoying because it causes the rigs to do a full hang and require a cold restart.

Last time he was active in this thread was Nov 2019, he was usually very active in the past, even when he didn't make updates. Now I think he might be retired from developement. He made crazy gains since his miner was the only decent software during the 2017 market boom and probably saved up tons of ETH and just living on an island somewhere.

I supposed something like that. So, we are using an out of date software that is not being maintained and is causing problems due to the developer lack of commitment. Is he even alive? I can't believe someone could just let the golden eggs chicken and just leave. Anyway, hope he fixes the problem.

Thanks for letting me know...

There are plenty of other capable miners that mining as well if not better than Claymore (at least on the pool reported hashes end). Just because a miner says it's giving a high rate doesn't neccessarily mean it is performing the best. A lot of lazy miners don't bother looking to make sure the pool side is reflecting what the terminal side says. If dual mining was still viable this miner would be decent but those days have for the most part passed.

Hi, thanks for your response. In my case it is not about lazy it's about knowledge. I will search for new miners then. It is a shame Claymore has this problems, it is a very good software. Any chance you could point the name of some better software you are aware of?

Thanks a lot.

Hi guys, I've just installed the new version and Pascal mining seems to be disable. Is it just me or Pascal is not allowed anymore?

Hello people, anyone with this problem too?

Hi guys, girls and Claymore.

I was wondering if Claymore will release a version that allow to mine with 9 gpu. MOBOs are heading to the point where mining with 9 gpus is possible. Any information related to this point?

Thank you.

Currently, an active issue is the distribution and allocation of PascalCoin Accounts (PASA).
I urge the community to take this challenge on and develop web-based PASA exchanges and wallet infrastructure, as I do not plan to provide this.
I expect wallet providers and exchanges to be registered companies that comply with the relevant regulations of their jurisdictions and provide a secure and honest fiduciary duty to their users. My focus will be exclusively on the code and protocol design.

This is why the coin will not be used by anyone: if I have to buy an account, I'd rather to use BTC, ETH or any other coin with a free account system. Buying an account may be even complicated for people to understand (Ok, I want to buy some Pascals... what? why do I have to buy an account? Huh) and it will restrict the coin growth.

There's one thing I don't understand. Pools are distributing accounts, but how many pascals do I have to mine to get an account? (let say Nanopool for instance), and, after I get one account will I receive more for the mining process?

Thanks a lot
They send me 1 account for every 25 PASC I mined with them.

Do you change your public key everytime you get a new account?
No need to change public key. The pool uses your public key to send you the account.

Are you concerned of the security of the account? Once the account has been transferred to you, the sender can no longer control the account.

No, I just want to know why if I have mined more than 50 pascals on Nanopool I have just received one account.

You need to catch a single block to get account. Pools have account and get money there that they re-send to others.

Thanks for your response bro, but I think didn't make myself clear enought. If you mine at Nanopool you have to wait until reaching 4000 points of rating (rating?Huh??) to get an account. I got mine as soon as I reached the required rating, but I did not get any other account when I reached 8000. Right now my rating is 18470 points, and If i'm right I should have 4 accounts at this moment (I have four times the required rating) so, my question: what do the pools do with all the accounts generated from our work? do we receive any money for the sold accounts? does Nanopool sell the mined accounts? If I receive an account, will I receive another one?

Afternoon Pascal Investors

I am selling a bunch of pascal accounts in total 680 pm me with offers for all of them or if you wish to buy single ones as well pm me. these 4 digit accounts

This is one of the problems with this coin: if you want an account you have to buy it or beg for it. It is supposed to work as a bank account system but it has become a speculation mess. I'm done with pascal, switching back to ETH.

I have been mining for days with no block. Any chance someone has an extra account I could get. If not I guess I'll just have to sell all my coins and move on. Pub address is -

Thank you

Don't buy an account. Wait until pools manage to give the accounts to miners.

New PascalCoin Build 1.5.1

This update fix some bugs detected on version 1.5.0
Update is not mandatory, but this version is more stable

Source code at Github:
https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin

Linux Binaries, windows installer and blockchain at SourceForge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin/files/

### Build 1.5.1.0 - 2017-02-20

- Memory leak fixed on RPC-JSON commands
- Memory leak fixed on node connections
- Improved network speed processing new blocks/operations
- Some minor bugs

It would be great if there were an update option directly in the wallet.

You mean without having to download the latest version each time there's an update ?

yeap.
