You might want to consider some typhoon's insted, if you need more air pressure
I heard about them, but I couldn't source them easily. Noctua are 1200 rpm ; are the Typhoons really more effective ?
gentle typhoon 1850 are quiet.. but they dont really move much air... only draw 0.08amps.. which is quite weak.. from my experience
go commercial or server grade is better. i use the Delta and sanace 92mm fans.... you really need those 3000-5000rpm fans to get things moving. of coz sound levels will suffer more..
btw, your perforated steel case looks great..

Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com
Normaly it was about 2-3%. I am using R9 290 cards.
I'm getting about 10% rejects right now on 25Mh/s, which is a lot higher than usual. I run the same cards (R9 290s), and use the Asia server.
When using WafflePool, I get a lot lower rejects (1-2%). Middlecoin has a very high reject rate right now.
just wondering, how about your total hashrate? is 25MH/s total reported by your cgminer (local reading) or at middlecoin stats accepted+rejected hashrate? mine seems to have 10% missing.. gone dunno where..

Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com
Friday at the end of the day I switched back to middlecoin.com main server as you can see in my stats. From that moment on, at least my unexchanged went up again. The Amsterdam server gave me a low unexchanged AND low exchanged balance.
Dat reject rate...
i had superlow rejects the whole week since using asia. (always only 0.0X MH/s from 8-10MH/s) .. now today jumped 0.XX levels .. but i'm, not complaining.. balance+unexchange is like 30% higher than yesterday already..

when did asia get so much? lol.. the last 3-4days was pretty crap... today is different cos i switched back to main server.. tons of rejects but unexchanged is pretty high too.. (as compared to asia, low payout low unexchanged)

Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com
That all having been said, I hope my payout listing is just inaccurate! haha 0.00893325 BTC Balance for mining all day at 3.8mh/s would be devastating. That's around $7. I made more than that playing the LCT and XPM market today! I'm not complaining, I know they've had some issues and been working diligently on them all night and day so I'll give it some more time/credit
Great question.. the balance showing now is that the last 24 hours or what? If so.. phew, the pool must have done really poorly since last payout.
I also get nearly .01 for full day mining at 3.6 mh/s.. Yesterday I switched between EAC, CSC and RPC and sold them manualy (which btw. brought me .06 BTC at same hashrate), so I hope there are still LOADS of immature / unexchanged coins..
wondering the same here, eight 280x with 740kh/s.. getting me 0.025?? i think something's off..

Re: 16x r9 280x mining rig arrived today. big problems. help will get rewarded.
Stay away from all sapphires but the toxic editon (maybe), as I too have the bios throttling issue with my vaporx.
I think with the better cooling (heatsinks on the vrm vs just pads with the vapor) of the toxic edition and maybe a different bios it doesn't have the same problem of the vaporx.
is more of the vapor-x issue.. it's bios holding back, trying to keep temp at 70c..
sapphire 280x dual x is the bomb... 740-750kh/s easy..
hi , I am getting 4 HIS iceq gpu's and will install them directly on motherboard without pci risers on Asus maximus VI mobo .But can anyone tell me how are HIS cards in terms of quality and are they 2 slot cards ?
Thanks in advance.
it'll be too hot for card 1, 2 and 3.. due to narrow spacing between them..and lack of air intake..
Power efficiency is nice but the number doesn't change that much, you need 10 chips (600$?) to outmatch a 280x (300$?), yes power is the key but this is not "a game changer" just a shift in power consumption, the kh numbers are pretty much the same.
Du(al)-Coin mode up to 1.75G/s BTC Hash Rate + 60K/s LTC Hash Rate, or up to 2.25G/s BTC Hash Rate + 38K LTC Hash Rate
comes with 1.75GH/s of BTC hash rate as well..when running 60Kh/S LTC, doubt one 280x can do that?
