What are the advantages of blockchain over traditional casinos? I know that many people like the atmosphere of the casino.

I do not see the connection. The shareholder and the owner of the ATM can be completely different people.
You must understand that shareholder tokens being passive income

Back to solo mining for me.  Return from the pool is now too low due to a couple of big monster pool munchers lol  Surely they should be solo mining.  Maybe a cap on the share percentage should be imposed to dissuade botnets, et al ?

Seconded that. those2kh/s speednets are dangerous. im back to cpuminers pool atm, while waiting for graymines to be more stable.

anyone know how often payouts occur on vrm.cpuminers.com? I haven't had a payout yet even though I've been mining there for 2 days 1000+h/s. There doesn't seem to be any account login on the website...

10 VRM autopayout.

poolinator.com - Planed pool maintenance
Pool will go down for Stratum Port adding and adjustment on 07:30 forum time

See the following port list:

http://i.imgur.com/YbYOKGe.jpg

Vardiff port should be working now. On the testnet i have tested it with very low values and after some time, the pool rejected some of the shares because too low difficulty. Still, vardiff is untested on real network.
I personal will try vardiff port and if i spot any problems i will post here again.

Please don't put your miners on the smallest difficulties: I added the tiny ports for realy small miners with less than 200 h/m !!

***edit***
Update has been made. In addition i have changed the wallet for letting it connect to more nodes.
Vardiff seems to be working (well, 3mins of testing^^).
All changes have been made

Next step -> Email notifications

I'll test the vardiff too - it'll help to test it with more people, right? ^^

Is graypool on again? It was 'connection refused' today and yesterday >< Or did the port change?

Ah ya, apparently marcus changed it to port 9666. Will point it to there so that pool will get a block (or blocks).

Yea, but on new soft pool gets out of RAM if more than few workers are connected lol.
And I'm still fighting with wallet exceptions.
When I looked at this coin git repo I wonder why it even works at all.

No support on wallet exceptions from dev at all, and wallet NEVER should give exceptions at all.
Still fighting anyway.

OK, i'll point my miner to other ones for now, and good luck! Hope you will find the solution soon! Just let us know if it's resolved ^^

-a scrypt:1048576

now my line is:
cpuminer-core2.exe -a scrypt:1048576 -o stratum+tcp://verium.graymines.net:9333 -u VJbXXXXXXXe1a64 -p x

But I get err - Scrypt buffer allocation failed
I did have the same problem at one point. A reboot fixed it for me. Not all cpuminers will work with scrypt:1048576. Which one are you using?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.0 This one works good for me in windows, or you can use the one that effectsToCause forked - https://github.com/effectsToCause/veriumMiner - that seems worked better in linux (at least for me).

Edit : Graymine pool down again?

try reducing thread numbers by -t (x) where (x) is number, starting with 1. it might be it.

I wonder what's with that 31k and 14k share account though, especially when others are almost below 0 shares...

Okay ladies,

you can now move away your miners from graymines pool,
as I have some big problem (wallet crash on block) to resolve, and don't want you point your CPUs power into void :-)

Will keep you informed when pool starts to run as it should.

OK, we have new wallet on remote machine, you can test again!
Remember this is CPU only pool and configure your miner as you should, unless you want perm. iptables .... -j DROP

Gl!

Hmm, it refused to connect... I'll point it there for awhile, then. hopefully you'll sort it out.

Hello, I want to ask about pools - I have tried the cpuminers one and it's great, working as intended, but sadly it has those often timeouts and a bit hard to connect into.  I saw p00linator one is still on the process, how about the graymines one? i tried there, but seems like the hashrate is a bit wrong, and share numbers there are a bit weird (0.0000X vs someone with 11k shares). Is the graymines one working properly? Thanks in advance.

Also, about the cpuminer-verium, I have tried it with my i7-4790 and it did slower on both pool mining and solo mining than cpuminer-opt 3.4.6 and qt client internal miner, respectively, with same thread numbers.
