Re: Staking on ETH 2.0
by
articlecity
on 31/12/2020, 14:16:33 UTC
With the recent launch of Ethereum 2.0, people are now rushing to the launchpad for staking

But is it worth it?

The rewards are looking very appealing but the stake is going to stay illiquid for a long time. Will a third party staking provider help in mitigating some risk?
Eth staking is very popular already but i do not get that why the staking rewards are decreasing with increase in number of eth staked, I think below 10% annual returns the staking and locking will not remain attractive because defi and other options are there so the eth developers and decision makers need to think about it.

There are so many bounty campaign that moderate by newbie with 2/3 activities, is that kind of bounty are safe and believable?
Mostly such campaigns do not work but yes sometimes they turn out to be really good so it all depends but i would still suggest to avoid campaigns by such accounts if you get even 1% doubt.

Re: How can ICOs come back in the game?
by
articlecity
on 30/12/2020, 21:39:12 UTC
As crypto gets exposed to the world gradually, new and more convenient features enter the market.Initial Exchange Offerings are taking over with their planned and well structured activities which put the whole project on checks and make sure investors get their holdings after making the buy orders.Again, the coin gets the opportunity to be listed on that exchange which facilitate immediate trading if not planned otherwise by the team.
In my opinion, if ICOs are to come back in the game, then there should be regulations and structures set aside in order for it to meet the standards set by IEOs.What other way do you think can lift up ICOs again?
I think if the new project is of good quality with attractive business model and competent team then most probably they will be able to raise the funds even if they take the traditional ico route but to be honest i have also become pro ieo now because that puts an added label of trust if the ieo is hosted by top exchange's launchpad.

Hi guys, what is a good altcoin to buy now that we are having a correction? Seems like a good discount.
Well most of my choice based coins have already moved but yes there is still high potential of growth in coming months but the only coin that does not seem to have moved much and could move bigtime soon is tron trx so you can check it out and try to get as many as you can before it starts moving big.

on 29/12/2020, 23:22:28 UTC
Hello Guys, i know that altcoin market Condision is not so well, at this time. It may risky for me to invest on new icos or ieos but i would like to take an advantage. .i already hold btc, eth, bnb, tron and don't want to investment on top ranked altcoin anymore. I'm looking something new that has potentially to huge suceesful.kindly share if you Know such kind of new currency
I think there are no more proper icos/ieos available in the market like we had seen couple of years back now mostly the new projects are defi based and they raise funds on decentralized platforms or through liquidity mining. The only ico i know is of Blockmembers which is a good project and aims to innovate and automate the construction industry.

Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU?
by
articlecity
on 29/12/2020, 22:42:56 UTC
There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER
I am a crypto enthusiast and i do spend a lot of time daily searching about things related to crypto, following crypto news and social media etc, as far as trading or investing style is concerned im definitely a longterm holder.

After seeing the growth in the price of the coin in the past few weeks, it leaves us confused as to which investment to make. I want to invest in all of the coins. but only a little capital owned. what action am i taking right now?
If you have little capital and do not know much about the market and a lot of coins then stick with btc for now or maximum in eth, do not chase each pumping coin, keep it simple and smooth unless atleast you gain the knowledge of the market.

Re: Been cheated again
by

on 28/12/2020, 18:59:26 UTC

SCAM

Bounty hunters got cheated again, actually is this ever going to stop? Do you guys remember OLPORTAL? Bounty hunters are asked to drop ETH address to get tokens and they end up forcing bounty hunters to go and download OLCF wallet and import recovery seed to receive tokens, how did they cheat? Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.
All these projects and teams behind them just find one or the other excuse to either delay bounty distribution or completely avoid it.
One friend was also telling me about payaccept campaign which ended months ago, the project is up and everything is fine but they are intentionally delaying bounty distribution for months now. I think it is high time for community to come up and expose such people.

Re: Is Litecoin Ready for a Major Breakout?
by
articlecity
on 28/12/2020, 18:17:00 UTC

The Lite coin # 5 on coinmarketcap which is also called Mini BTC has not shown any impressive performance during the recent Bull run  but during the past week it surged 39% and rallied to $124. It has broken major resistance levels, more significantly it broke 62% FIB. The next major Resistance levels are at $ 131, 135, 151 and 160. As many analysts are expecting a major rally in Alts Market once BTC price stabilizes and BTC dominance Index comes down to 60% then we might see Lite coin breaking its ATH record of $375.

Yeah it isalreading moving and momentum is good it looks like ltc is the next one to follow btc towards its path to moon but if we check critically the price is still way below previous high price so it still has a lot to do.

Re: When This Scam Will stop??
by
articlecity
on 28/12/2020, 17:04:10 UTC
We all know that it was a very popular forum back in 2017-2018.

after that, every altcoin announcement and project was like a total scam, Every new member became a copper member for management of a project.
I mean why isn't there any rules for this?
Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.

Yeah there should be a standard operating procedure or steps to stop low quality and scam projects to get listed on this forum to filter out the bad guys.
Secondly, I think the forum also needs to market itself to the target audience with a fresh approach, may be use cmc or other high traffic platforms ads to attract new and right kind of members and projects to the forum.

Re: Best undervalue projects with not so big cap

Hi, which are the undervalue projects (with not so big cap) in your opinion .I am asking for good coins not about some shit ones
I think Crypterium is an undervalued project because they already have working platform with apps and multiple banking services and over 500000 users, they buy back and burn regularly out of company revenues.
They are developing more products and also offering crypto visa card.
Im hopeful that their tokens will hit 5 bucks each as next peak value of the bull run.

Re: TWT x Binance Exchange

Hi friends, there is a good news for those of you that completed a spot, margin or futures trade on Binance exchange between 2020/12/14 0:00 UTC to 2020/12/21 0:00 UTC, you will get 100 TWT but you have to withdraw immediately, because if you don't make a withdrawal until January 5, 2021 00:00 UTC then TWT you get will be lost.
You can read more information about TWT airdrop at https://community.trustwallet.com/t/twt-binance-airdrop/88370
Although it is a free airdrop but i was expecting something better from binance, they have airdropped around $10 worth of twt tokens only while recently uniswap and 1 inch who are much smaller than binance airdropped over $1000 to their active traders and even more to liquidity providers.

on 25/12/2020, 17:43:50 UTC
I've heard people talking about other Cryptocurrency and even I've known alot about some of them, I've made careful research about some I'm even yet to know about, but I've not seen too may people talking about Pinkoin and I'm about to join that, please can you share with me your views, I need to have good understanding of it before I go on. Thanks so much 🙏
I have not found the required use cases and attractiveness in pinkoin as a potential project to invest so i would skip it, i have recently started following an investment mentor and he is suggesting me tron and he recommended me to get as many as i can and then wait for few months before taking profit so im looking to accumulate trx at the moment.

⭐ Merited by cabalism13 (1)
Greetings Bounty Hunters!
I'm just curious on how do you call a failed project (project who run some features but didn't continue) and a project who depreciated within time (projects who has lost its value due to its low demand and market value)
As I'm only aware of Scam projects ( projects that only within plans and didn't  proceed to any features )

Another thing is how can you tell if it has a potential  or doesn't  have any?

I think if a project is dead, closed, failed, de-listed or even has no volume at exchanges there is not much you can do about it because either you will have to sell really cheap or you just move on considering it a failure and that is all.

Re: What do you think about Orion Protocol and Yield Bank?
by
articlecity
on 24/12/2020, 19:31:29 UTC
Both projects are new (2020) DeFi projects. After researching tons of alts, the thing that stood out to me about these is that they're both doing something completely new/innovative. Orion Protocol is building a super exchange that is a culmination of all exchange order books combined. Yield Bank is building what is essentially a massive DeFi crypto bank with lending, loans where LP tokens can be used as collateral, decentralized margin/futures trading, and more. It also has a 2 token system where the price of the main token (yB) is supported through burning/buyback mechanisms.

It's still early days for these tokens, both have products on the verge of release. What do you guys think of them?

Orion protocol is definitely one quality project and it could be the game changer for traders and im also waiting for its full platform release as it would really make things easy for traders and buyers. Yield bank needs to come up with secure paltform to be successful because of so many hacks new defi platform reputation is at a low now.

Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret?
by
articlecity
on 24/12/2020, 18:24:15 UTC
Many people regret that they did not buy BTC while they first knew about it. For some, they did not sell BTC while they could. Roll Eyes

For me, I got MWC & HEX for free from airdrop to BTC HODLers, but dumped them before they peak. I could easily make 10x of my existing BTC, if I held them strong. Cry

What is your Biggest Crypto Regret?
My regret is not taking profits when my coins mooned during last bull season but then again i do not blame myself much because i was very new in this market at that time so all this happens and no need to feel bad.

Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself!
by
articlecity
on 23/12/2020, 20:46:53 UTC
The ICO craze has enabled a lot of these developers to just march out on their own and start coding, make a website, answer telegram questions etc etc, all the while thinking that they are doing something truly unique. They forget that at the end it is a business and they need a product. A product needs marketing, advertisement and all that shit. Yet, the problem with most of these so-called undervalued, good devs is that they all think they are on to something unique. It is impossible for everyone to be a Satoshi or a Bill Gates and make a business from scratch simply on the basis of the novelty and brilliance of their ideas. The echo chambers of their telegram/ Reddit groups makes it all the more easier to fall for this narrative.

They all could do much better only if they used some business sense and actually invested in marketing their product, meeting potential clients and just run an actual business.
Developers with real projects need to get out of their comfort zones and go out in search of theor potential market, partners and new ways to attract userbase and business as if you develop a quality product but no one knows about it and no one uses it will make it useless.

Re: Ethereum on $500 in 2017 / 2020
by
articlecity
on 23/12/2020, 20:11:30 UTC
here is an interesting overview by twitter user @sassal0x, published on Nexo dispatch, regarding numbers in Ethereum network in 2017 and 2020, while in both cases ETH price was $500, snapshots are taken on November 29, 2017 and December 16, 2020

one can see from the list that:
- number of active addresses and transactions almost doubled in between
- total number of addresses is 10x up, 24-hour fees changed more than 10x
- development progress soared with over 2000 active developers and over 4 million downloads from Truffle
- DeFi assets changed perspective from millions to billions, stable-coins on ETH changed from non-existence to billions

and ETH2 is introduced with more than 1 billion USD locked-in

after all, price is the same, something is wrong, $500 was too much in 2017, or it is too little in 2020, it is up to anyone to judge for himself, do not take this as financial advice
These stats definitely signal that eth is massively undervalued and in my opinion 2k is fair value for eth and next peak price for the bull season or new all time high can be from 7k to 8k. Im eagerly waiting eth bulls to take full charge.
