We write this now to explain to the community what we concluded yesterday even if the new project is not ready.

It's not a marketing stuff, after we do our homework we identified these issues and we share it now.
Since the project is different, it's possible some members will not like our new idea. We will do a new thread and discuss about it in the new.

We are now working on the allocation of the new token, nothing is decided.

There are quality people in this thread with nice motivation and involvement. We just want be transparent and respectful here, like we are between us in our team.

To be fully transparent, we have uncertainty related to operate a swap with Howl tokens.

Currently, we are analyzing a project and building a team. I'm proud of what we achieved.
Relating to Howl, we have identified issues. These aspects have been discussed by all the team (howl holders and news members).

1/ Howl project: After weeks of work, our vision of the project we are working on is no longer focus on a chat app. As all projects, the initial idea is different from the final product.
We have great other ideas to develop and the chat feature is no longer considered as a priority. Since the project is different, we don't think we would use Howl brand. Howl is focus on chat app.

2/ Some new devs we contacted are not comfortable to work on the project because the story behind howl is complex, as you know. Even if we are not related to old dev who disappears, use the Howl name = be part of the history.

3/ Old dev tokens: For a proper token swap, we need to exclude old dev tokens. We have identified some addresses but we can't be sure he owns others and he could find a way to take part of the swap. It's a risk to take.

4/ Legal aspects: The old devs has intellectual property for howl project : logo, design, idea,.... If our project succeeds, there is a possibility he claims something. It's a second  risk to take.

5/ The project is at early stage, no one has traded current HOWL since we said we are working on a project, as we adviced. So we are peaceful for this.

We added risks and profits and we think for the new project we think about it will be better to not use HOWL brand and not operate a swap in order to start on good bases. We want to warn you about this, even if we are not ready to communicate about our new project.

Our team needs new expertise fields as Back-end dev, webservices API and Ios dev.
Android skills are actually provided, but we could have a need for advices or review.

On travaille sur une plateforme sociale centrée sur le mobile avec notamment un système de messagerie. Il y a d'autres fonctionnalités intéressantes (info en pm). La communauté est déjà lancée et active. Le projet se veut utile et on attache une grande importance à la transparence entre membres de l'équipe et la communauté.

Notre équipe recherche donc à compléter son champs d'expertise avec un dev back-end et un dev Ios. Une expérience en messagerie est un +.
Pour le dev android, on a ce qu'il faut, mais on pourrait avoir besoin de conseil ou de révision.

Enfin, pour la mise en production d'un contrat ERC20, on a une fonctionnalité de lock pour laquelle on aurait besoin d'avoir un spécialiste pour une révision du contrat final (bug detection).

Si vous avez de l'intérêt pour faire partie d'une équipe et travailler sur un projet cool avec un bon potentiel, c'est l'occasion !

Feel free to purpose your skills if you want to help the project and the community to succeed 

Market is down, it will let us the time to work on something and release when the market will be high. This timing is better than the other way.
We can find positive aspects everywhere 

You are absolutely right, we have to provide something robust before allow the new token traded.
We all lived the same experience with this project and have the same felling.

Moreover, we don't recommend to trade the current token.

@Starselect, that's a good point. We know that we couldn't reach everyone. We have some ideas to inform people that something is happening here. We plan to give a good time for the swap. Keep a token reserve for latecomer could be an other solution.

But at the end of the day, Community need an active team and team need an active community to succeed..

The swap ratio is a concern, you are right. We will propose something to the community, why we thing it's a good idea, explain the plan and the future use of tokens.


We don't ask anyone money and we don't encourage to trade old Howl. The swap will be available at no cost other than gas for token burned.

We are community members since a long time and we don't want to watch this project stuck like this.

Please stay with us, It would be a nice challenge to prove to you we can do something good with this project and we need comments (good and bad) about our proposal.

With fivestar4ever, we are working on a token swap of howl since the dev has abandoned the community.
We are building the swap rules and it will be proposed to the community for approval.

For now we think a swap is better than an airdrop for the community.

We are currently in contact with potential devs as team members. Feel free to contact us if you want to be part of the project.

I just have a look at messaging app development like whatsapp. It takes 1800 - 2300 hours with team of 5-6 devs, so approximately 4 months.

In our case, we know they are 2 devs so it could take 1 year to have a product.

Nevertheless, I agree it don't explain the lake of communication...

I hope the main subject will change soon. Majority of posts are about "when release?". But I will be happy to discuss about project itself like ideas, how to add new members, how to improve services,...

I aggree 10M token isn't possible.

I don't think there is a "problem" with marketing. They did a good sign campaign and there is an airdrop soon. It was really professional.

The main subject to focus is to find a new cool exchange in order to give more accessility for funds and visibility to $ITNS. I know they are working hard on this.

It's merely a question of time
