In the past 12 months we have went from 3 strangers who met by using LocalBitcoins to 5 partners, 100+ users & we are all working towards common goals on a semi-regular volunteer basis.
We have organized and ran events & meetups, had guest speakers attend, have ourselves attended conferences & hackathons, & even released an open source GUI wallet for multichain software during that time.  I am very happy to be working with you all & super excited to see what we build together in the future.

Here is a brief recap on the happenings of late:

We have grown our team which includes a few developers, allowing us access to a larger pool of resources. Content such as websites for the applications, unibit labs, and the unibit chain are near finished. Web wallet is near finished. Looking to launch the wallet and subsequent initial bounty program within the next few weeks. We may also be able to deliver on a product soon as well.

Our launch party is on Nov 2nd. at our HQ in New Braunfels, TX, with guest speaker Adam Kokesh. Parts of the event will be filmed and shared. If you are in the area, you are more than welcome to join us.

Looking forward to sharing these new developments!

+Jon Stokes

Had a great time at the event. Even scored an autographed copy of FREEDOM! 3rd Edition!  Grin Adam has my vote.

[ANN] [YSC 0.0.1] - Another important coin announcement, Launch Suspended!
by
aseriousgogetta
on 22/07/2015, 04:06:20 UTC
Working on a another alt coin. Changes will be the order of the day. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Codebase will be heavily modified if not completely replaced after foundation takes over on agreed upon date.

YSC - Yard Sale Coin - 2015 (will be coming in two sides; YSCv1 && YSCv2) Refer to future ICO post for more info.

Do Not Use.Still being formatted for the foundations needs. Will be heavily modified upon public launch of product. && Always be careful with beta software. This is just an ANN.

To help further development of this coin please join our IRC discussion channel on Freenode. #yardsalecoin
Donations are appreciated as well but certainly not expected. If your researching alt coin launches your probably trying to make a $, not spend it.

http://s16.postimg.org/qgqyefrgk/coin.jpg -- screenshot of yardsalecoin wallet. 07/15

Attention!
This coin is currently "working" but should not be used! It will be undergoing heavy modification. Seed nodes are not currently active for the source on Github but could be put online after building the daemon from source. I just wanted to announce the coin's presence to recruit for help in the IRC channel. Vires in Numeris.  Grin

YardSaleCoin ; a vision of the future.

I have been working on an idea for a while now. I am currently at a point in this that I need to collaborate. Here is my pitch;

This is not only going to be another cryptocurrency, it's going to be a standardization of yard sales. I have been playing with this idea for around 2 years now.. Watching alt after alt launch.. seeing ridiculous things happening in the industry and learning alot about economics along the way. My idea for this coin is kind of two sided; a coin & a foundation. The coin is another alt. simple. the foundation is where it gets deep. This will be a community involved, dac, standardizing the way people even have a yard sale. It will sponsor many things along the lines of public awareness, ethics, laws, safety, & security. It will be made up of community votes that can't be cheated due to blockchain technology. Wink So cool.

Along with this 2 sided coin is even more.. The idea that we can make something cool that helps people.

What I am asking for; Funding && Volunteers

I have a server but no electricity due to hardships. Not asking for a handout. I work every chance I get.. but if you !tip for a line of code you liked it would help make all coders feel appreciated and that feeds the cycle. =)

but even more then money; which everyone needs.. I need volunteers. I need people with vision to help make this a reality. Contact to help.

more information will be released when available. still working on policies for the foundation & legal issues state-to-state.. I am currently focusing my efforts on the contigent 48 states.

Here's what I currently have and what I am working on getting together.. No idea for an actual timeline of this yet.. It has been 2 years of watching alts jump up while I have been planning this out.. Grantcoin is a nice copy of what I want to do with the foundation. Sort of. but we will standardize the way you have a yard sale. In the near future you will list when you and your family are having a yard sale by pushing the info to an app on your smart phone. This app will have been developed by the foundation. Non profit was my first idea but it is still being negotiated via this Announcement. What would you the community suggest? Anyways, more talk on this via IRC all; freenode #yardsalecoin.

http://github.com/yardsalecoin ; http://d-h.st/cAxZ --> The Latest image is not the actual latest source, simply a set of documents being gathered and revised.

PoW scrypt coin. currently the network is down. 0 active seed nodes and source is outdated. Upcoming release will be heavily modified so stay tuned.

Syscoin now on http://bitwin.co! Get your game on!

Bitwin.co takes on a simple betting system that allows its customers from all over the world to enjoy football action and other sports to have several chances of winning cryptocoins.

Bitwin.co gives betters the freedom to wager on any of the three options: a home win, an away win, or a draw. Betting on one of the choices involves sending coins to the corresponding addresses for each.

We do not offer fixed-odds betting, though, as the projected return on investment (ROI) and odds vary depending on the bets entered by online players. You dont bet against us as bookmaker. You bet against other users and so you can get much higher odds.

Awesome service, just won 7200 syscoin on the NFL Packers vs. Cowboys!! Will use again, got paid promptly to my wallet after game end.

Thanks for leaving feedback on this. Will try it on the upcoming colts game..

I really do laugh at how bittrex just leaves this coin listed with " Blockchain issues. Market disabled while investigating" for weeks.  makes no sense at all

Right?  Cheesy I'm just glad I got out when I first saw that issue

I'm just glad I search a crypto before I purchase a few of them on bittrex. Wink

http://s9.postimg.org/x8adxrfvy/DICE.jpg -- Screenshot of my DICE working perfectly.

Thanks to loshia for the walkthrough.

Grab latest cgminer from git
1. (git clone https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer.git)

apply patch - got mine from here --> tbdice.org/100_hex.patch
2. (patch -p1 < ./100_hex.patch)

then you build;
3. ./autogen.sh
4. ./configure --enable-hexminerr
5. make
6. make install

& run w/ correct parameters
7. sudo cgminer --set_default_to_r --hexminerr-asic-diff 4 --hexminerr-pic-roll 60 --hexminerr-chip-mask 255 --hexminerr-voltage 700 --hexminerr-options 1:800 -o stratum+tcp://tbdice.org:3333 -u YOURBTC -p x

&& your off hashing!

Wait for marto to publish the patch it will not work like this.
Or use tplink if you can...

Would love to use a TP router to solve this problem.. but you can't use what you don't have...

Will be anxiously awaiting marto's patch so I can begin mining with my machine...
Until then.. I will be attempting to fix this myself. Will update.

Alright.. Any help is appreciated.

Here's what I am doing:

mkdir cgminer

unzip cgminer-4.6.1 to /cgminer
(grabbed 4.6.1 from http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/ because i saw DICE0 working on the TechnoBit website in a screenshot..)

apply patch from 0.4.0.rar on the Technobit website. (i omitted applying the srev patch since im not using scrypt gear)
patch -p1 < rev_9afd0a216a0f95adb650e4818f24af1a61ad837d.patch

then;

CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure --enable-hexminerr

This is where I'm hitting the wall..

I think that is default when you have a miner to run linux and for that i ask. Anyway i was looking to buy this but only the simple version and only if is a proper cgminer patch or cgminer new version with support this machines
Yes tplink image runs latest cgminer so as I said it is a matter of time for marto to publish the patch
If you ask me just try tplink and you will not ever regret for that choice Wink
You can buy one from Technobit or from your local store
The folks who have experience with tplink and Technobit images can confirm it ...
I had 70 days uptime with tplink before power failure in my home due to local electricity company

I'm certain the tplink would be the best option, but if you order the bare bones miner (as I did) you should at very least get a link to working software, I feel. Anyways, just agreeing that everyone should grab a tp w/ their orders.. or Technobit could mod the case designs a lil more and include them in their setup's.. as bitmaintech does with their controller boards.

Aside from 2 days of downtime as soon as they arrived due to no information & the fact I didn't realize I couldn't use them out the gate, Technobit replied to my email and fixed everything right up for me. Have been purchasing hardware from them all year and definetely recommend to the first-time buyer.

I didn't receive any software with my purchase. Just received 2 of the Hex1RB's in the mail today with no cables and no software. Any chance you could look out for your customers and ship me a TP-MR3020 on the house? I can show you my purchase history.. Been buying from TechnoBit all year. Would love some help getting my 300 Gh mining. Don't have a spare 60 USD right now or I would purchase the TP. Spot me and I will pay you payments over the blockchain && would very much appreciate it.

You should already know that technobit never send usb cable & software unless you order it.
There is two DICE on sale right:
1. 98 EUR is DICE + TL-MR3020 + usb cable
2. 78 EUR is DICE only

Right now is TL-MR3020 only. Patch for cgminer not published, so you can not compile cgminer on Rpi or linux pc.

Zich: Seems awkward to pay almost 3 hundred bucks for ASIC w/o cables or software so close to 2015..

This is a quote directly from the page I ordered my device from:

"DICE is delivered with set of Win/Linux software that allow the use of the device 2 ways:"

http://technobit.eu/index.php?id_product=93&controller=product&id_lang=1 -- I would really appreciate any help I could get. Would just like to see my money working for me. Damn shame to see my pair of dice sitting on a table not being rolled every ten mins.. Thanks for your time.

here is the full bundle with TP-link included available now:

https://technobit.refersion.com/l/1e5.19333 (test link - affiliate program not currently available)

"DICE"+ preprogramed TP-link + USB cable pack
SHIPMENT18-th December 2014
first production batch

I don't want to buy a TP-LINK - I want to use a Raspberry Pi B+ and compile an official cgminer on it.

and so..

without TP-Link.
http://[Suspicious link removed]/1w0YvEH

you're welcome.

"DICE is delivered with set of Win/Linux software" - how is it delivered ?

Has Ckolivas been involved with you in producing updated cgminer s/w for you ?  Can I drive a Bitmain U3 with your software ?

Simple
We make and publish source of a  patch for cgminer , that can be build with cgminer in order to make all technobit devices with cgminer on your desired platform (Win, Linux, Rpi, Tp-link etc.)
With the dice we'll send you a pre compiled cgminer for both win and Linux with only DICE drivers.
You can still use the patch to build together with cgminer and whatever other device drivers you like .
Ckolivas is involved as much we use his open source cgiminer and by GPL licence publish the source of the patch (drivers) for our devices

I didn't receive any software with my purchase. Just received 2 of the Hex1RB's in the mail today with no cables and no software. Nah - the process we want to see is the one where you and Koontas get hit by a comet ... or contract Ebola and no one cares..... "Oh hey look the guys who never added any value to anything on the face of the Earth died.... huh... So what's for lunch?"

Not that I want to be a troll, but...

OMG, how old is dev? Sounds like a teenager!
Any serious businessmen would not through around such a comments...

Starts to smell like another busted altcoin project, hope it's not true...

I think DEV is a bit angry because of some people who are saying his work would suck. If you are working a long time on a project and paying much money for the gold/silver reserve, (maybe) getting much less sleep since the start on friday (or the week before the start) and then some people saying your work sucks. What would you do? @ DEV: Try to get some sleep and relax. You did a great job!!

This was one of the best starts of a new coin I´ve ever seen. Which other new coin was listed on an exchange within the first 5 days and got on coinwarz in this time? I can´t remember about any coin which reached this in this short time...

DEV you´re doing a great work...

Beat these haters with success
