How to accept crypto payments?
by

I am wondering what are the ways to accept crypto payments in an online business. Should I share my wallet address and ask clients to send payments to it? Isn't it troublesome? Payments could be sent to the wrong wallet address and also it would be difficult to manage the transaction history. What should I do?

To answer your question, which is better, investing or trading , let's first try to answer another question. How many bitcoin millionaires do we know among investors and traders? It seems to me that there are more millionaires among investors. Winklevoss, Tim Draper, K. Wright, etc. - they all made millions/billions on investments in bitcoin. This is still only a small part of people who have earned decently in crypto market.

So it turns out that the answer to your question is obvious.
Trading is exhausting and with one who follows the path of these millionaires and billionaires. We're getting the idea on how they're doing it for their own gain and that's to keep investing.
Investing in bitcoin is much better than to put yourself at risk in trading if you're not really good. But no one can stop a trader if he's making a living from it and if you're a trader and an investor at the same time, you're determined to be rich.
That’s right! Do you only invest in Bitcoin?

Hodling works great if you want long term one instead of short term. About trading, I don't have much knowledge and experience about it since I did not do much trading before and doing technical analysis needs a lot of time where it is one of the important things to do to predict the price. In trading, you can do it daily which in my experience you can earn profit and also loss if the price suddenly decrease but mostly profit and much faster but with higher risk of losing profit.

Since trading is not something that can be learned overnight, technical analysis and fundamentals will take time. Others will need months or years to learn trading and develop their own strategy, which will take time. Without a sound business strategy in place, it is almost impossible to make money. Yes, you can make money regardless of whether the market is good or bad. Trading while holding is not beneficial unless you are making an investment. If you hold your trade for an extended period of time without setting a target profit or stop loss, you will suffer a significant loss.
Can’t agree more! Whether it’s about trading or investing one should have clear  goals in mind. Once you have reached that goal it’s better to close the positions instead of being greedy or unrealistically hopeful.

I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?

For me, trading is better for potential altcoins and if you have a lot of time to watch the price movement of a coin. For bitcoin better to hold especially if you just have small capital or you don't have enough time to monitor your screen. Trading and holding are both investment but it is all depend on you on how you handle it. Also, it's all about knowledge, strategy and patience.
This is what I learnt from this thread. Hodl coins with long term potential and trade the ones with high volatility.

Cryptos are definitely riskier than stocks etc. but if you know how to use information in your favor and research you can gain from this swingy market. My guess is that about 7% of winning standart traders are profiting long term in crypto markets. Leverage trading is the best tool to pain and gain. You have to be a gambler in other words and starting without good instructors and sources you will end up broke. By investing = hodling you just park a car and look how its get driven. Do you wanna drive?

I have been trading in both markets and I can also  say with certainty based on my experience that crypto is more volatile and riskier but highly rewarding. I know many crypto enthusiasts who made huge amount of money by airdrops, joining bounty campaigns on Bitcointallk without making any investment. Volatility in any market is also an opportunity to make profit if you know how to manage risk and that is the key of success in any market.
Is it really viable? I have heard a lot about airdrops but don’t know anyone personally earning from it.

Trading and invest both are very important for the cryptocurrency sector I know lots of people want to get money without hassle or without tension but I want to say every sector has risk and uncertainty so look before you left.at fast you have to take decision what is your final goal then you can succeed. just I want to say trading and invest both need for the cryptocurrency world.
Everyone also hopes like that but what must be known that in any crypto there are risks,
trading and investing both can generate profits and it depends on each person's taste,
what's clear is that don't try to invest or trade if we don't have any preparations yet

There is a key difference between trading and investing but many few people recognizes this.  We cannot say at the broader level which is better of the two. It depends upon person to person.

What if we get knowledge of  both cryptocurrency trading or investing and then decide which one suits our need or which one proof more beneficial to us.

I agree, the definition or the option between the two depends on the person itself.

You can choose when you already dealing with it and gaining compensations, the main factor is to earn and grow your investment
whatever the process, you take as long as you are getting a good result. That's the goal when participating in any type of investment.
Definitely! Even if you are just buying and holding, you still need to have a plan about the time frame you are going to keep an asset and that time frame should come from in depth analysis.

because indeed both are still very profitable but with a note possible for trading always pay attention to what coins we buy and maybe this also applies to long-term investments.
On the other hand, for long-term investment, maybe we shouldn't panic and worry too much about market conditions and all you need is to focus on your target, how far you will survive there because of course when we invest for the long term, of course, we also have to be there. the target is how long we will hold the coin and at what price point we will hold it
Stick with your goals and follow on what you have planned because this would be a great motivator for you to push on and would know on what you are doing neither you are dealing with long term or

short term ones and as long you are aware on how things been moving then its up to your whether you do dive in or not according into your own interest.Just set those risks management factors

and stuff and then try to sustain yourself into the market which would really be always recommended.
talking about motivators, I think it all depends on what we do, when indeed we do things that are quite good and do not violate the rules, for example by buying alt that has enough potential and bitcoin then indeed the results will also be good as long as we do not violate the specified rules even if we we are free to do anything but we must also be aware that indeed everything needs a process and nothing is instant.
Being self-aware and aware of all the risks will be very important in order to control yourself so that you must remain calm in making decisions
Having your investment or trades planned beforehand is usually very helpful to make informed decisions. If you are randomly opening a position and keeping it open until the value increases it never makes you profitable in the long run, because there’s no strategy involved.

Both will make you money and can also cause you to regret your action. Do not get involved in any of them if you do not know what you are doing, do not go into trading if you are not trained for it. If am to advise you I will say go for investing. It is better than trading. That is the option I like to take. All you have to do is buy and then keep it till you are ready to sell off and take your profit.
Is there no strategy that you follow while investing? Do you simply buy at a low price and sell whenever the price rises?

Well, I think it really depends on your decision making capability and knowledge .Investment and trading are both profitable. However, investing and trading have different approach in making money.Investing is about long term and low-risk while trading comes short-term and high risk.If you can achieve any,it will make you a good amount of profit.
In my own opinion, Id better choose investing rather than trading. Because i can assure that investing will always give me much more money than trading. You can make a living in trading but you can  make a fortune in investing.
Yes that's correct. many people make more profit on trading, but there are also those who make more on investment. it all depends on how the strategy and development you do. Personally, I think that both are very beneficial. however, I chose one of the two based on the circumstances. if the trade looks really profitable, I'll give it a try, and if there's a good enough investment, I'll try it too.
Apart from that basically either investing or trading in crypto is profitable,
but again it all depends on each strategy because if we are not careful then we might lose money,
and if I have to choose which one is better I can't seem to do it
Doesnt matter on which one we would choose because same as you said it would really be depending on your strategy and as long you could make out profits
then neither of the two would suffice thats why it would really vary on your own preference because some people do prefer one but you could actually
engage on both things if you do have the funds and if you could able to bare with the risks.
I agree! In the end all that matters is the profit you made. The end goal of both trading and investing is to make money.

At least if someone chooses to invest, at the same time he knows a good project that he trusts and is confident in its future prospects, then investments can really be much more profitable than trading.  If we take for example such a project Crat d2c, which is already concluding agreements for cooperation with existing global e-commerce platforms in the blockchain ecosystem, then there is more than 100% confidence in success.
Bitcoin’s value almost went to the moon but then it fell down. Don’t you think those who didn’t sell at that time must be regretting it?

Both are the same but if you are asking about Holding then i think it is better to keep holding specially if you are having Bitcoin in your wallet because aside from being safer this is the one that can assure you best future in this market and in the world.

It is not that easy as what you've said . Holding takes time and also emotions since you are holding big amount of money and your emotions will takes place since if the price  goes down then you'll be wanting to sell your holdings and also knowledge is power since you dont have knowledge about bitcoin then you'll be selling earlier
Lol it is much easy than trading , are you referring that he should trade than HOLD? because yeah Holding takes time but if you are having Bitcoin at least it is an assurance that your funds is safe for long time and assuring to make profit in time .
I think he wants to say that it requires a lot of self control to be able to hold and that’s true because the market is so volatile that even small movements can create huge price gaps. It takes a lot of self control to hodl during the market swings.

Trading takes time to learn it even depend on your brain capacity to truly understand how trading works, it's better to engage in both trading and investing, I have a close friend who do this and use the trading skill to survive pay bills and others then still be able to buy few BTC every week now he is in a better state financially
That’s great! Your friend must be very good at trading as he is not only managing his daily expenses but also earning enough to invest. Would you mind sharing for how long has he been into trading?

Cryptocurrency trading and Investing i think both are same.Trading Isn't easy, It's a risyk. When you start trading then you need to patience and need good skill. But if you have panic seller they you will lose money.Trading or investing both are same but I'm suggested to You,You can buy more valuable some coin and holg long time.I hope you will get good benefit from it.Now crypto matket little dip so don't miss that opportunity.

Yeah especially in this bear market we should fill up our bag before we missed another train in the future, use your money that you can afford to lose and it's true that we should be patience but it's never been easy so far. If you dont have a lot time to do some analysis then just invest in some project but before you should do some research to prevent any losses in vain.
I don’t think it’s intelligent to invest in random projects. Proper analysis is important for investments.

Patience is required in both investing and trading. If you are a panic seller, there’s a greater possibility that you can’t hold your investments long enough to reach your financial goals.

All are good, do what is best for you, the one you think it will be easy for you. Just that investing is a longterm business which if you are not patient you won't be able to cope with. All are good which brings profits when you do them well.
True, because everyone has different skills. If we have the talent to trade, then trade. Learning to make a profit through crypto investment is a must, but don't let us force something that we have not mastered, because it will harm ourselves.
Trading is not a talent , instead this is a knowledge in which taking long time to master, lot of effort and lot of time before it gets done .

So if you wanna trade then best to listen to your senses and choose between the 2.

Trade , or Hold that is something we wanted to use as strategy .

I am using Holding now but of course i have some small funds uses for trading and staking because i Know there is added income from those .
Exactly! Neither trading nor investing is talent. It’s a skill that is developed through knowledge and experience. It’s great that you are doing both. You can better suggest which is more profitable.

I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
Actually it depends how you wanna make your money work .There are many thing concern with that .You have to make your own strategy if it is Day trading or Investment .So that you have to study a lot .However we all know that crypto is always high volatile market if we really do it professionally we can get a huge return for sure .On the hand if you wanna just invest here in btc you need to be a patience holder .If you don't able to hold your nerve you can make loss on investing in crypto specially on bitcoin.I actually suggest people to invest on crypto cause if you may don't know the proper trading strategy and also you need to have enough fund if you wanna do trade on day trading tricks .SO that i think it will be better to invest on crypto .Do your research always before investing or trading on crypto .
Thank you for sharing your opinion. Seems like you are into investing. What are the coins other than bitcoin that you think are good for long term investments?

If it can be two, why should it be one, that's roughly what I want to say. I think both are the same thing, but only differ in terms of time, between short and long term. Especially when we already know the analysis in the long term, it seems not too difficult to analyze the market in a short time. Vice versa.
I personally do both very often at the same time, meaning I invest in coins that are good for the long term and make daily trades to complete the profits in very small sizes because it really helps me in reaping profits when the market is friendly.
Yes doing both between day trading and also investing in the long term I don't think it's for everyone,
they must really be able to divide or manage well,
as long as it's profitable I think we should make the most of it

Not for everyone, but for those who managed to deal with it the right way.

They are those who can manifest a good amount of compensation, not easy task and there are lots of things that needed to consider,
but eventually, if you are able to catch up with those important pieces from this investment, both trading and investing are good place to invest
your money.

Yes, maybe it’s not that easy to decide which will be more profitable but considering the unpredictability of Bitcoin, I think investing for a long term is risky. What you might consider as a temporary fall can be permanent.

You have good experience in trading and investing then both are profitable but better investments in the long run than in daily trading. The risk is higher when trading every day trading is not possible to properly evaluate currencies without experience is true that it is better to hold bitcoin there is no fear of losing this currency and trading is possible to make a profit in the long run even if the knowledge is less. Long term investment benefits for investors.
most people do choose long-term investments because they are safer and do not require complicated analysis. but not a few also choose to make short-term investments because they want to get a quick profit and use the profit earned for capital to get a bigger profit. It doesn't matter if you want to invest long term or short term, the most important thing is according to the skills you have.

Yes It depends. Even many who day trade, will choose for a long term investment. Its up to individual. As said, If you confident on yourself and have experience and been successful in trading, then you can continue to do day trade. For those who are new to trading but have much confidence on any coin especially on Bitcoin, then yes, go for a long term investment. You can certainly have a deep break, sit back and relax on a long term investment.
When trading then it could neither be long term or short term but on general speaking it is still an investment because you had put up something for you to earn something.

I don't know on why it isn't considered that trading isn't an investment? So its a personal choice whether which one you do engage on but put up in mind that both things
 are just the same.

It do only varies or differs on the duration on where you do take out profits but on general sense it is just the same.
You are right in saying that. Both are different forms of investing in a way. The difference is that in trading, we invest for a very short period without any goal of keeping our investments for the long term. The aim of traders is to earn quick profits but investors usually do it for retirement purposes.

Investing is definitely not very risky. You can invest in a popular cryptocurrency with any study or going into details but trading requires a lot of information to make a good decision. In trading, you can earn profits even on the coins that don’t have a long term future.

I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
Brotherly, i seems that hodling a Bitcoin for long time is even better than going into trading of daily activities and function, if we hodl bitcoin and any altcoins for two and half years the profit of bitcoin will be profitable than the one of altcoins because bitcoin is having changes everyday by day. I will like to tell beginner's in cryptocurrency to buy Bitcoin and store for long time if the capital is there than buying a none legit project coin for trading
However holding in the long term up to two and a half years is certainly not something that is easy for everyone,
other than that in doing that patience is the key,
what is clear when talking about Bitcoin there is no need to doubt it
Exactly, holding is not as easy as some people believe. As a trader you can always close your position when you feel that the value is going lower than what you expected. But when the price keeps falling and you have planned on holding, it gets really difficult emotionally. You feel like quitting all the way and then when the price rises again you feel guilty.
