Re: will humanity stop using cash
by
askmecrypto
on 24/10/2018, 01:45:49 UTC
I have a vivid discussion with my friends lately. They say that one day people will forget what cash is and they will start use card only. Then the era of the changed and innovated cryptocurrency world comes, and we will stop using money and switch on crypto coins only. They say it might take twenty or thirty years, maybe longer, but it is a sure thing to happen, they have no doubts about it. I am not so sure... well, people might give up using cash as it is not that convenient, but giving up money as whole? I really really doubt it, it seems so impossible for me. What do you think? Maybe we will start using something brand new, neither cash nor cards? What is the future of the cryptocurrency world, anyway? Will it die in fifty, sixty years or it is going to be a thing that will live forever? Let's dream for a while Smiley

Dreaming is an altogether different thing, however, personally I dont feel that Cash will extinct ever.
Did Gold got vanished when currencies came into picture? No?
Similarly, with the incoming of a new financial instrument does not guarantee that the use of existing financial instrument will vanish. Though there are high chances of cash or FIAT to get less popular over the time and may be crypto will take the space of what cash is today, however, a complete extinsion? I dont think its ever possible.

Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency?
by
askmecrypto
on 24/10/2018, 01:41:40 UTC
I've been thinking a lot about this issue. I heard more than once that many are discussing this topic. Is it safe to invest everything in one, two cryptocurrencies? Or to distribute all the money in all the coins available for this amount?

Its NOT SAFE to put all your money in cryptocurrencies itself. I am not just talking about 1 or 2 cryptocurrencies but I am talking about the entire crypto space.
The basic fundamental of financial investments says diversification, never put all your money in one financial instrument, diversify it. If you believe in crypto more, put a bigger part of your investment in crypto, but never go all IN.
Alongside crypto, invest in real estate, gold, bonds, stocks and where you can. This eventually safeguards you from uncertainity and complete fall.

I am not writing this because I am against crypto, I even have 40% of my investment funds in crypto myself, but again, you can never be certain in only 1 financial instrument.

Re: HOW TO ACHIEVE HIGHER BOUNTY REWARDS
by
askmecrypto
on 24/10/2018, 01:38:46 UTC
Hi everyone, i have been hearing so many bounty hunters complain of receiving low rewards after participating in a bounty Campaign for a long time.. Here is my own Suggestion. I think that bounty managers should have a required number of participants on every campaign in a Bounty. With this, there would be limited number of participants and Higher bounty rewards..

Guys what do you think?

This happens in a lot many bounty campaigns, specially the ones who are paying directly in BTC.
However, for low bounties this is never going to happen, more the participants more the promotion of the project, why would some project or bounty manager think to reduce the number of participants?
By keeping a fixed reward function, he can attain more promotion with more participants.
I understand this looks negative on the bounty hunters part, but thinking of business and promotion, the more participants they get is the more target they will acheive.

Re: Greedy Bounty Managers
by

To all greedy bounty managers this message is for you. You know we, bounty hunters, have allocated our time and effort to do our tasks in exchange for rewards. We have done our job so we have right to receive our salary. Why are you so greedy? You wanna become rich fast? And then what? You have all the money in this world and then what? Money is not everything.

I actually dont get it.. If you are targetting a bounty manager, come all out on it. Dont just blame every manager for the suffering you got from 1 or few managers.
we have seen amazing bounty managers in the forum and due to them bounty hunters still have a job to do. If you are scammed by some bounty manager, best thing is to report them in the meta thread along with proofs. Put negative trust so other people dont get scammed. shooting arrows in thin air would not help anyone.

Re: Etherium 1000 $ is a dream to everyone !

Oh my god after the fall down of etherum from 1400 $ to 200 $ what do u think of the soon futur of etherum?! .. my opinion is etherum will get to the top again it's normal when it's so down with every other coin or bitcoin.. can i use patience as a smart solution to get rich with 4 ether now !

Prior to $1400, ETH was always trading under $50, the boom began, it crossed $200, then $500 to $700 and eventually by Q4 2017 to 1st month of 2018, we saw the ATH of $1400.
Being in crypto, you should understand the volatility of crypto market and it can make or break any coin.
There are high chances that ETH will be on a new ATH value and will even break a $2000 mark, but this time, it will take much longer period, all we need to do is to keep patience.

Re: Blockchain or Cryptpcurrency?
by
askmecrypto
on 24/10/2018, 01:31:05 UTC
Well keeping it simple, for blockchain to survive as a financial instrument cryptocurrencies existense is must. Without it, blockchain will stay limited to tech and will not get the exposure it really requires.
Plus, thinking for FIAT as a mode of tender in blockchain will make blockchain worthless as then it will be centralized and could be governed.

Re: What do you think what will happen on the end of the 2018
by
askmecrypto
on 20/10/2018, 22:56:59 UTC
Well for me i do not think that there would be a pump for the bitcoin like last year but still i am hoping that it will happen next year or maybe pump but not like last yeat as well. For you what do you think will happen

Personally, I am not expecting a huge pump on BTC or any other ALT coins by year end. It took us 3 years from 2014 to end of 2017 for the tremendous pump in BTC prices along with many altcoins. The 3 years was the time of accumulation which eventually burst out in a form of major pump. I expect a similar kind of situation but not so quick, may be it should take another 2 to 3 years and we can see major gains.

Re: Do you think Altcoins will be a big competitor to Bitcoin?
by
askmecrypto
on 20/10/2018, 22:23:49 UTC
Bitcoin dominance in the crypto market almost 51% right now. If bitcoin price will go to the moon again then this dominance percentage may increase! But we have many options in altcoins, and many altcoins are better than bitcoin in several ways! Do you think, in future, Altcoins will dominate the crypto market? Or will it be a strong competitor to bitcoin?

There are mostly 2 main reasons of High Bitcoin Dominance in Market:

1. People believe more in bitcoin rather then any ALTCoins
2. Bitcoin being the major trading pair for buying ALTCoins, people buy bitcoins so that they can trade BTC satoshis into Altcoins

A higher bitcoin dominance is at many times a very good sign of Altseason too. As a majority holding of Bitcoin shows investors are ready with the funds to buy ALTs.
Bitcoin prices mooning will not necessarily mean to have a higher dominance, for example, during Bitcoin's ATH time, (Dec 2017-Jan 2018), BTC dominance was around 40% only.

Re: This is the best time to invest and join bounty campaigns
by
askmecrypto
on 20/10/2018, 22:21:00 UTC
So recently we've been hearing all the news and predictions about the absolute bottom we've reached. If this is true, then i suggest we should work very hard now in bounties and investors should also not give up.

This is because, some coins came some months ago and are in a loss of about 80-90%, it'll take a while for the moon time to come. Now if we've reached the bottom, investing now would mean that by the time old coins recover their losses, coins that got into the system now would have mooned x2/3/4/....  Grin

Let's not loose hope yet. Better days will indeed come ahead. Nevertheless, we should beware of scam. Scammers are still around so we should do our checks well before joining any project.

We are still not at absolute bottom but again waiting for an absolute bottom is not really worth, due to this reason, I start accumulating the coins I am interested IN when they are around the absolute bottom range. This is where the money speaks, accumulate as much on every dips for the projects with strong fundamentals and reap on the later days of bull run or more specifically ALT season.

Re: Do you think some bounty managers are sadist
by

on 20/10/2018, 22:19:10 UTC
Do you think some bounty managers are sadist, i have an encounter with a manager recently, he is in a position to help me to recover my forgotten email but refused to help.

What is your worst encounter with a bounty manger?

By no sense it appears sadist to me. Being a bounty manager shoulders him with responsibilities of managing bounty and 1000s of bounty hunters and helping you recover a forgotten email does not count in his job.
If he is busy or is not really willing to help on something which per his understanding is not important does not make him saddist.

Re: who is responsible for the scam project
by
askmecrypto
on 19/10/2018, 22:55:53 UTC
Who is responsible for fraud projects. doesn't that cause a lot of losses and what punishment is worth.

I know its going to sound rude but the investors who allow the fraud projects to come into picture at first are most responsible for the fraud and scams projects. It is because of there unawareness and zero research that they do before investing in the numerous scam projects we keep on watching time to time.
If investors are doing the required research at first before investing even a single penny in that project, we will see a big decline in scam projects.

Re: Is there ever going to be a cap on ICO's?
by
askmecrypto
on 19/10/2018, 22:53:24 UTC
I dont think that there could ever be a CAP on ICO. Its similar like new companies emerging in market, they are just utilizing ICO as in means to generate the funds required for there development and other factors.
Its possible to have thousands of cryptocurrencies and there are already over a thousand crypto currencies in market. but eventually, it does not matter, the coins which are really worth with real development behind it will only survive.

Re: To invest in an ICO, Reviewing of the team behind is necessary?
by
askmecrypto
on 19/10/2018, 22:51:29 UTC
Most ICO's tend to hide their members behind the project. Is not it necessary to know about the team also who are building an ICO project, including other factors of it?

Its one of the most important factors to know who are the people behind the ICO Project. Its the team who is raising the funds via ICO and if you do not know the real people behind the project, it makes no sense in investing in an ICO. Its more or less like investing in a project ran by strangers and there is no guarantee that they are not going to scam you.

Re: Will Tether (USDT) eventually collapse cryptocurrencies market?
by
askmecrypto
on 19/10/2018, 22:27:48 UTC
We can only keep faith with USDT having actual USD value to back it up with, though it looks very fishy time to time, but the company has proved in the audits about the usd backing there USDT.
I personally, prefer staying in satoshis rather than USDT, however, during the collapse of entire cryptospace, I sometime convert my satoshis in USDT and then turn back them in Satoshis when the prices are real low.
I always have the same fear but eventually till now I did made decent profits by trading BTC-USDT and retrading it back to BTC.

Re: Similar Name Coins | Don't get deceived!
by
askmecrypto
on 19/10/2018, 01:31:41 UTC
Is it only I who noticed that there are coins having similar names?

I want to warn the crypto public about this. You be careful there are lots of coins out there with similar names. I think this is a new scam strategy to deceive the community that the coins they hold/received from campaigns are the ones listed in coinmarketcap. Please double check it first before sending to an exchange or if you have plans to buy the you-dont-know is a "fraud coin".

If you could have given few examples of coins which are of similar name but different ticker, that would have helped the forum members in a better way. As of now I cannot actually make out your point to convey.

This for sure is coming from someone who is not in the crypto space for more then 1-2 years.
If one is following the space, we have seen way bigger dumps then what we are observing at the moment. And this time, the good thing is we are gaining much more visibility and public interest. SEC and other securities are trying for regulations, though it may not interest a lot of us, but eventually it is giving great visibility about crypto to the mass.
Many countries are welcoming Crypto as well.

Re: Is it worth holding XRP and BTC, or selling my XRP for more BTC?
by
askmecrypto
on 18/10/2018, 23:38:33 UTC
I currently have holdings of ETH, XRP, AND BTC. However I believe we may not see prices this cheap for bitcoin in the near future, espeically with institution funds rolling in. Should I sell my XRP for more bitcoin???
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

For always, my main motive to buy and sell ALTs is to increase my BTC value.
If you are holding XRP which you have bought at low sats value in terms of BTC and if you are in good profit, its good to sell it off for BTC. You can always rebuy alts like XRP or ETH in future when there SATS value is real low and sell them on profit to increase your BTC value.

Re: Is here anyone holding large amounts in MyEthWallet.org?
by
askmecrypto
on 18/10/2018, 23:36:22 UTC
I want to invest in good quantity. but it is very hard to rely on hardwallets. MyEthWallet seem good in terms of ease of availability. I need to know if it is enough safe to use MEW?

first thing is myethwallet.org does not exist. Either you are trying to diverge people to a fake page or you are really unaware of MEW.
Correct URL for MEW is MyEtherwallet.org

Now, your statement: It is very hard to rely on hardwallets is entirely false. The most reliable wallets are hardware wallets and not the online ones.
Its always good to go for Trezor or Ledger Wallet.

by

on 16/10/2018, 19:39:20 UTC
We had seen a tremendous uproar in 2017 in cryptospace and this happened after a long consolidation period from year 2014 till 2017. But this time is different. There is a lot more awareness about bitcoin and crypto this time, it will take time but not again 3 or 4 years. I am expecting around 15 to 18 months for the accumulation this time which may trigger the next bull run.

Re: If the BTC crash, will it take every other coin with it?
by
askmecrypto
on 16/10/2018, 19:16:55 UTC
BTC being the major trading pair of most of the coins in the market will always have its effect on all tokens. Since tokens are mostly traded in terms of satoshis, so when BTC price in FIAT (USD/EUR) goes down, it makes satoshis value go down as well and eventually the price of other tokens as well.
On the other side, during the past few quarters we are seeing a lot many coins are also getting FIAT pairing on exchanges this will reduce the BTC impact on other tokens but it will take time.
