[WTS] Cryptos.Email, Crypto Stocks app, Csnapshot.com + full backend data engine

Hello everyone,

I'm @asplinux (https://twitter.com/asplinux), well respected member/trader/developer of the crypto community.

In the last 9 months I developed a full family of services related to Bitcoin and Altcoins trading, used by hundreds of members in our beloved crypto community. In the last few weeks other activities of my business took me away from trading and cryptos in general, and it seems the sudden explosion of my other business needs at the moment my complete attention.

All the services I developed were made to work perfectly with basically no maintenance, knowing I might have to face periods away. In these last few weeks I thought about all the work done on these services, and I just feel that considering the huge response from the community, this package could become much bigger in the hands of someone with more time than I have. I receive always amazing feedback and suggestions about features to add, people wanting more and wanting to pay for it, but my other commitments don't allow me to do so.

So I arrived to the conclusion that maybe the best option could be selling all that I did as a whole package to someone willing to start a new business into Bitcoin and Altcoins.

The parts of this system are:

- Csnapshot.com (https://csnapshot.com) : a web service to monitor in realtime multiple coins on a screen, including sell/buy order books, sell/but trades, freely zoomable charts for price/volume, balances. The system works with Cryptsy exchange but modifying the API calls in the code is possible to adapt the same system to other exchanges obviously. The system works in realtime taking data from the exchange, and auto updates all info on screen. It is organised into a basic free service and a more advanced 'paid' service, authorised via private key on Cryptsy. This means that can also be expanded to make trades.

- Crypto Stocks (https://csnapshot.com/app.html) : a paid iOS Universal (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad) app to keep track of Bitcoin/Altcoins prices on more than 10 exchanges, covering all the main ones existing on the market. It allows to search by coin name or exchange, and it presents a general list with last price and then a detail containing also current buy/sells/volume/high/low/change (depending on what data is provided by each exchange). It also provides direct links to the exchange page for that coin and to the relative cryptocoincharts page to check charts.

- Cryptos.Email (https://cryptos.email) : a web service allowing users to set up email alarms (useable also as mobile text) for Bitcoin/Altcoins price changes on more than 10 exchanges, covering all the main ones existing on the market. The system sends email if a specific price/condition for a specific coin pair on a specific exchange happens, with link to the alarms page to reset/change the alarm (once triggered) and a link to the page/exchange for quick trades after notification.

- Exchanges data retrieval backend engine : Crypto Stocks and Cryptos.Email are based on a completely new, automatic and independent backend system that regularly retrieves all relevant data from all exchanges and organises in a coherent Json structure of data to allow Crypto Stocks and Cryptos.Email to work independently from exchanges. This obviously allows also high load of connections because all used data from all exchanges are stored in a dedicated database for quick access. All this is also stored in a separate place as markets history with up to the minute detail.

It took several months of dedicated work to arrive to the current perfectly working status of all the services. I'm not in need of selling so I'm only looking to serious offers from serious people/companies wanting to further develop all this into a unique family of services dedicated to trading, understanding all the potential for further development and seeing it as a great chance to buy a whole set of services dedicated to Bitcoin/Altcoin trading.

I'll not consider any offer for just one of the components because they are strictly related to each other and to the backend system, to work in a coherent and efficient way. Obviously I'd sell the source code, db, domain names, copyright and intellectual property, not just a license, so the buyer will become the exclusive owner of the whole package. At a later stage I'll pass all this also to a broker to facilitate external contacts, but I thought was best to start from the community and give it a chance.

As I said only serious offers, I'm not in need to sell so if no interesting offer will come I'll keep the services running, adding new features and improvements from time to time, till I'll be more free from my other commitments to do even more on this on my own Smiley At the moment I'm receiving private offers through brokers, so I might close this topic earlier. Is a perfectly working code system (runs since weeks without any maintenance), in need of some TLC and then marketing to be pushed, featuring already a good name and reputation from my personal high profile in the community.

If you're interested please PM me with an offer (in BTC BTC). As many asked here and on Twitter, I'm not considering any offer lower than 15 BTC. For any question please just ask, I'm also available on Twitter as @asplinux or on IRC (freenode.net and altcoinweb.com) as 'asplinux' or 'asplinuxmobile' (both registered nicks), so you have plenty of ways to contact me and to verify my identity as the real asplinux! Smiley

Thanks,

@asplinux

Transfer must happen on exchanges as written on original Ann, move your coins to Mintpal for example and they'll do the move/cut to SAT²

can coins be transferred from the old wallet to the new wallet?

by

Interesting point....dev any reply to this? It's quite important to trust a dev for a coin to live and grow.

What about what happened with slothcoin?

New algo?
Let's test it!  Wink

sry just have to say this:

The same guy developed SLOTHCOIN, and once he saw that the coin appears to be dying he abandoned the ship and started Primio. Now the subreddit and everything can't really be maintained, as he still is the administrator but doesn't give a f*** about this.

Looks like he just wants to make money, or why start a new coin again instead of promoting the first one.

That's good to hear, and sounds very interesting indeed!

Just keep in mind that to get back the trust from people will need much more than that, it could be something but just a start (and it will need to be super simple to use and cross platform).

People will wonder what will happen next, when there will be the next update or project, because only in that way they'll know it's worth buying GRC and holding it because value will be sustained.

Anyway good work! We talked privately before, if you need help (when I do it I just do it for free obviously) just DM me and I'll give you some reference about what I'm doing now for other coins Smiley

Looking forward to the POB implementation.

As devs already said, fork is happening just these hours, when finished they'll post an update here and on Twitter.

No mining (solo or pools) is possible in the meantime, so the only thing to do is waiting or trading DMD Smiley

I'm now involved in helping a few coins emerging, and we talk about serious projects and not pump and dumps.

I'm huge fan of GRC, I just think it needs a bigger team where there are some news every day, wallet development receives updates daily and there are precise ETAs.

There are many coins out there, but to get people interested is not enough to get a revolutionary idea (GRC it is such for me), people need to see that there's a full time team of several people able to guarantee prompt updates, new implementations, support, constant new projects, and a PR team actively pushing all this on socials, engaging people etc.

Both on Twitter and on IRC that's the main complaint I receive. Once GRC will have more devs implementing in a few days all the long due updates to wallet and mining software, for all platforms and in an easy way, then it will explode and I agree could be the future of PoW coins.

If not clear, I'm not only investor in GRC holding a big amount, but I genuinely think is one of the best ideas for a coin, if not THE best Smiley

I would like first of all to express my compliments to the team, managing this situation in a very professional way!

My question is: is it possible to have a simple step by step guide explaining

1) if I have DMD on Cryptsy, how will it work the transition from old to new DMD for my coins? Do I need to do anything?

2) if I have DMD on old wallet, how will it work the transition from old to new DMD for my coins? What will I need to do?

I received these questions a few times, they are very common from users when hard forks happen, so I think a simple post with these two step-by-step instructions will make it all easier to understand Smiley

This really is a turning point, and you guys are doing a fantastic and clever work.

DMD was always one of the most overlooked coins for his characteristics, and now is even more unique and the crypto world changed a lot, much more people in it and I can see more and more a very talented team going some incredibly fast steps.

Actual price is still paying the previous death of the coin, looking forward to what will happen in 2/3 weeks, and what other surprises you'll bring us!

In my opinion (I'm not the dev), fair distribution and fair contribution means that everyone that is involved must devolve a small part to the coin itself, instead of leaving it with much higher percentage to smaller number of people on volunteer base, we already saw with other coins that does not work.

This is the only 100% guarantee of support for the coin people are investing/profiting in, any other way leaves space to scammers, whales, dumpers and greedy miners.

As I said as well on Twitter, I think this is a fair model distributing equally profits and expenses and guaranteeing long time support (devs/team will be always interested in keeping it up), that's where most coins fail. Also the scarcity and low reward guarantee an equilibrium between miners and traders, avoiding huge dumping from miners and guaranteeing a more stable price in the long run.

Whoever is in, must be for profits and for sharing a 0.05% back to the community. Other coins will follow this simple and fair model I think.

I think none of them offer such direct contact though, details ahead of time, and a very scarce coin diluted in time to guarantee at the same time a fair distribution among miners and devs/community.

All this means long term vision, DMD is one of the last coins you would choose to prepare a scam, it was always about scarcity and long term, both things not going well with scams and dumps.

I think people are right being wary and cautious, time will tell in the end, but I always felt Diamond Coin was one of the most underrated coins around, now it seems a serious team finally took over to make it the big project it deserves to be Smiley

I don't get why no one consider the time factor, there will be 1440 DMD created per day, so 72 per day to coin support.

If you go back and read the announcement, it's all there specifying that there will be a Foundation, dedicated to support devs, community, promotion, without PRE-mine.

Miners can decide to mine this or not, but would be funny if that's the reason if they agree to pay fees of 1% or 2% to pools usually. Look at other coins like BlackCoin, they follow a similar concept (not technically) and they dedicate the fees to the Foundation to support all coin future activities.

Coins without support die because no one works for free forever, coins with premine and IPO are a scam/dump risk (this is not a premine, coins are not 'pre' mined, just mined like all other coins!). DMD learned from the success of BC and adapted it to the new coin specs of very rare PoW + PoS.

That's what I think after being directly and indirectly involved in many projects, probably price will say the rest, and devs here too Smiley

The way I see it, it's not an IPO not a premine, because both mean that devs get money all together and 'before' the others, and they can dump them.

Here it's a quite innovative and fair way to support the dev and community, without this coin will die. There's only 0.05 DMD for this for each block, so it's a VERY limited supply, like the coin itself is rare and very diluted over very long term.

This means no dumping, it's the right way others will follow to sustain development and in a fair way.

First of all guys I'm impressed with your work, congrats Smiley

My personal suggestion after several coins launches, is to avoid a second fork. To the eyes of the unexperienced users it sounds always like something painful and dangerous, in particular when PoS involved (where are my old coins? will they still be valid? my old/new wallet does not sync/work etc). Usually it's also not really welcome by any exchange (and in this moment you should really work hard to get definitive wallets ready for exchanges before everything else).

So if not in time for first release I'd suggest that a delay is better than two hard forks, otherwise if you can avoid two of them then it's fine to do a first release without Groestl. In that case the negative side will be the PR, because is among the main features (with PoS and new reward) pushed for new DMD, so anyway a delay of few days would be preferable imho.
