I really enjoy this thread.
I sold at 0.08 some weeks ago before the new IPO.
Bought back in since some people here are obviously working on suppressing the price.
I left and bought my own miners because I thought I could outperform this project. I would like to tell you guys about my experience.
Although I got my hardware right away: It doesn't run well and needs constant supervision.
Result: If you want to invest in mining buying mining bonds is much better than buying hardware.
No maintenance, no hassle, just weekly returns...
In my opinion all Bitcoin related predictions are absolutely irrelevant.
The future of Bitcoin can not be predicted by any mathematical equations.
The future of mining is going to be projects like the Petamine. Since the management team of this project has proven to be trustworthy and professional I believe in the success of this project.
Another IPO is of course possible. Of course it is also possible that the share price remains low.
This is still a very small investment here. Difficulty increases will not continue at this rate forever.
Panic selling and panic buying... is what the sharks are profiting from.
Keep your cool and do your own homework.

ich kümmere mich um das Hosting/Housing in China.
Ich beschäftige mich seit BTC=10 Zeiten mit dem Thema Bitcoin
und habe hier mit Grafikarten angefangen zu minen.
Seit einigen Monaten arbeite ich mit Menig zusammen.
Ich persönlich finde die Zusammenarbeit mit ihm hervorragend und
freue mich auf viele spannende gemeinsame Projekte.
Genauso wie für Menig ist das Thema Bitcoin für mich nicht meine Haupttätigkeit.
Wir werden das Thema minen in China für uns sicher erweitern, weil wir
von den Vorteilen überzeugt sind:
Niedrige Preise, keine Importkosten, keine Transportkosten, schnelle Lieferung, Nähe zu den Herstellern für Garantiefälle/Reparatur/Service und schnelle Inbetriebnahme der Miner
Die Frage hier ist wer hat noch Interesse damit wir unsere Hosting/Housing Kapazitäten entsprechend vorbereiten.
Thema Bitcoin mining:
Unterschied zu Cex.io: (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=323165.0)
0.0068 BTC pro GHASH (Preis 6.5.2014) entspricht 2.10 pro GHASH. Der Preis für die Hardware in China liegt bei rund 1.30 pro GHASH.
Außerdem kalkuliert Cex.io mit 0.30 US Cent pro kWh für alle Kosten und nennt das maintenance fee. (inklusive Investment, Miete, maintenance etc.) Da werden wir in China etwas drunter liegen.
In China wird im Gegensatz zum Deutschen Modell der Strom bei größeren Abnahmemengen teurer, der allgemeine gewerbliche Strompreis liegt bei 1.5 RMB pro kWh.
Ergo: Unsere mining shares bzw. Hardware kostet nur etwa 60% des GHASH Preises bei Cex.io bei günstigeren monatlichen Kosten.

Derzeit ca. 0.015 BTC pro GHASH (0.075 pro share, 6 Mhash pro share: 4) also dann fast das vierfache unseren Preises. Selbst wenn die ihre geplante Kapazität erreichen liegen sie noch über dem Cex.io Preis. Petamine reinvestiert 35% der Erträge und zahlt 65% minus Hosting Kosten aus.
Petamine kalkuliert seit neuestem mit 0.25 US Cent pro kWh (früher 0.45 USD pro kWh!).
Ergo: Unsere mining shares kosten derzeit weniger als ein Drittel für die gleiche Leistung. Wir zahlen alle Erträge aus. Ihr entscheidet ob und wann ihr evtl. reinvestiert.
Thema Scrypt mining:
Die 60MHASH Geräte kommen Mitte Mai. Das ist also noch ganz frisch.
Cryptx legt gerade einen Scrypt mining Fund auf. Der Preis liegt bei 0,038-0,05 BTC pro 100 khash. Die ersten 10.000 shares werden für 0,038 verkauft dann wird es teurer.
Das bedeutet im Moment: 11.78-15 pro 100 khash. (Miner sind pre order, Lieferung für Mai angekündigt, wir werden sehen wann die kommen, den Hersteller kenne ich nicht)
Der Preis der 60 Mhash Miner mit Lieferung 15.5. ist ca. 9,50 Euro pro 100 khash.
Ergo: Unsere mining shares sind günstiger.

Cryptsy is presently able to sell 10GHs mining contracts for 0.185 BTC each.
Compared to that Petamine shares are undervalued even at the present hash rate.
I think the present price is mostly due to the few people who actually know about
this operation even in the crypto world.

What is going on with Bitmine is bothering me quite a lot. I have followed their official thread. The last update was over a week ago and did not contain any specific information whatsoever. Although I am just a small investor in this venture we all could be much better of if they had delivered their rigs in time.
Sure bitmine might be a small company in a difficult situation but they have received big amounts of cash, given out guarantees and are not/late delivering. With every week that passes we loose how much of possible profits and reinvestments?

I am presently making enquiries how much it would cost to host Chinese miners directly in a professional datacenter in Beijing.
I will send the results to CryptX via PM/email and post the results here. That way we could save transportation and tax and would not have to ramp up the Belgian datacenter. I don't want to make any profit with this just want to contribute to this great venture. Happy Easter everybody!

Dragonminers 1TH (the ones that cryptx are buying now) are sold for X BTC now. (+shipment +vat if you are outside of China)

If I want to invest in miners I go with dragonminers.
I am based in China and can ship them to you if you want some.
Whether or not Cryptx shares are overpriced I do not know.
2 GHs per share of 0.067 is three times the cex.io price.
Even if we were fully deployed the shares would only be slightly cheaper than cex.io shares.
That being said... it is a completely different story with the reinvestments coming in and the fact that this is a managed mining fund. Also we are still covered by the bitmine customer protection plan. That means they should deliver considerably more Thashes to us once they deliver.
If you are looking for lower hosting cost: Chinese electricity is only 1.5 RMB per kWh. I can also host those dragon miners for you along with my own miners. But you maybe shouldn't do that. (Right I am terrible at marketing.)
If you think about it:
Even the dragonminers won't make a reasonable ROI at present BTC prices and difficulty development.
My gridseed scrypt ASICS probably won't ROI either. (I can ship/host those to/for you too if you want by the way.)
The only thing that now makes sense is to invest $ or into BTC.
Then when BTC prices climb to 1000 $ again which they will in no time since China is not stepping down on BTC you can write me a pm to see what I can ship to you then from here at what price.
I am also invested in the petamine because I like to be part of this thread and I think that the share price will go up although that might be unreasonable.

I realised today that I had a wallet with some Blackcoin lying around that increased 20 fold in value.
Obviously I sold them immediately before they crashed again later today.
