XCP asset exchange sucks.

1) too slow
2) not user friendly unless you are a command-line hacker
3) most of the time XCP is broken (developers suck)


Screw XCP, go with the NXT decentralized asset exchange.  NXT actually works and has a beautiful 1 click install and fantastic implementation.

What's wrong with C? Its still one of the most popular languages in exsistence and has benefits over C++..

Given the kinds of things Bitcoin needs to do, it also seems to me that doing it in C would be a big disadvantage.

given that C++ is a superset of C, I really don't see any benefit of C over C++ for a complicated bit of software like a crypto-currency...

If you do it in C you are not able to use Boost and other helpful C++ libraries.

Bitcoin was written in C++ and leverages these libraries, probably for a good reason.

So, I think xibeijan is spot on.

BTER.COM = SCAM

I have over $1500 stuck on the BTER exchange for two weeks.  They won't respond to my support requests.

They are a total SCAM!

I am very interested in NEX and I would like to become a major stakeholder.

I think NXT was very unfair and I really like the work you are doing.

Also, I've seen some of your more technical posts on the forums and I think you know what you're doing.  Therefore, please count me in.

Newbie Restrictions
You can only post in the Newbie and Local sub-forums till you have made one post and waited 4 hours. This post must be substantial: at least several sentences. The other two restrictions are you need 1 post to be able to send a PM and 10 posts to put a link in your sig.  You can only post once every 360 seconds to start and there are a few other things that trigger this timer such as logging in and searching.
