Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts?
by
atupolev
on 12/06/2018, 23:59:31 UTC
My thought is, Bitcoinn is the King and Eth is her Queen. And king always will be King. Because I think ETH have a goood future. but it can't be touch bitcoin. In 2020 bitcoin will touch about 50k USD. It's not a joke,  It can be easily. Amd ETH can be 3-5k USD. So, These are my thought about that two great coins
We all talk about price this coins in the future. But if we compare BTC and ETH, we will see Ethereum is something more than p2p payment system and even the platform for ICO's and smart contracts. Ethrereum network finds application in different areas. For example, the National Research Council of Canada is using the Ethereum blockchain to proactively publish grants and contribution data in real time, a measure that complements ongoing quarterly proactive disclosures available through the Open Government website. https://nrc-cnrc.explorecatena.com/en

Bloodbath is over for now  but the market not showing sign of recovery.
This is the time to pick winners
Ethereum classic look like the shining star https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum-classic/usd
Ethereum classic?! Are you kidding? There is no real value. The only thing supporters come up with, is that it's not under control of the ethereum foundation, but it's just hyped because it has the same name, see bitcoin gold, bitcoin diamond, etc.

I would invest in alt coins. Now there is a lot of interesting ico. The main thing is to join the presale, look at the projects on the icobench and think it over. There are also investment spreadsheets
What are you talking about? What kind of investment is "investment spreadsheets"? I can't understand it

Re: hold or sell? help me

Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
If you don't have to cash out tomorrow, keep calm. You may trade a bit or hodl or buy, do your crypto business as usual. Just don't panic. You all are pros, you all have invested only the money you can afford to lose. So what.

Re: Is this the end for Altcoins?

It isn't the end yet. Go with the flow, don’t over react. Wait for the tide to turn. This is when people panic and end up getting caught out. Yes ofcourse if you have a good idea go for it. But don’t stress when it is out of your hands, you either take your money or you accept it could be gone or maybe make life changing money. That’s what I tell myself anyway Smiley

Re: NEO or litecoin
by
atupolev
on 12/06/2018, 23:00:26 UTC
From many investors I heard good response for NEO and Litecoin. I know both are great altcoin in today's market. But in case of investing and to get profit quickly which coin do you recommend.

that I see these two coins are equally good and so I prefer Litecoin because I know this coin a few weeks ago has decreased and I want to invest in Litecoin because then I can help this coin to return stable and profitable

I cannot see why anyone would use Litecoin as a currency. It lacks Bitcoin's brand and academic backing, and has fees/latency unlike a DAG.
I do hold some though as I believe everything on Coinbase will get a nice pump when the noobs enter the market.

A lot of people said chinese ethereum for neo. I searched a lot about neo , then I bought some neo at 0.0085 btc. But it dropped at 0.0072 now. I know the market all down but neo dissapointed me. What do you think about neo for long-tem for neo ?
Neo already has massive value. With some research I'm sure one could find 10 projects with a better future growth outlook

Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world.
by
atupolev
on 11/06/2018, 23:58:21 UTC
You don't need to be in hurry or rush yourself to be rich. Just like any other business establishment somestime the business is good sometimes it's bad and if i compare it to cryptocurrency their are season for bull and seasonal for bear market. so if you want to be rich in a year then you need to hold more!
To me, the smartest people in this space are the ones who have stood by bearish opinions in the last 6 months who were formerly bullish, people like Tone Vays, Richard Heart. If you still aren't taking bearish arguments seriously, you risk becoming a bear when the market else switches back to bullish.

Re: How to Choose a Good ICO
by
atupolev
on 11/06/2018, 23:50:03 UTC
The standards for a good crypto project are completely skewed since there is nothing to compare them to besides each other. When you have complete vaporwares and shitcoins like Verge with total market cap of $500Million it's easy to tell yourself that the projects you picked are "good" in comparison.
Likewise business/economics inexperienced people reading white papers for the first time or watching an advertisement made by their company and feeling impressed is just as insignificant of a judgment.

I think it is because most of peoples tempted by the bonus rate of ICO's. they don't look about existing product of company.
Yeah, right now the value behind the actual technology is much less than trying to make profits in FIAT. Let that sink in.

True. I guess as with any speculative investment you have to weigh up these risks....feasibility, adherence to timeline, etc. A specced out project which is on target isn't really just promises and hype.

Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible?
by
atupolev
on 11/06/2018, 23:21:35 UTC
As you know, the cryptocurrency market can see huge changes in a matter of few minutes, making it very unpredictable. However, there are some fundamental factors which can influence the prices of any cryptocurrency. Prediction of Cryptocurrency future price are base on two factors 1) Historical price trends
(2) Historical volume trends. So,  there can not be a single and concrete prediction of any Cryptocurrency because of the very nature of cryptocurrency.

What is your view about Cryptocurrency price?
I think that this is quite possible because there are a lot of good paid courses and trainings in the field of crypts that can provide the basis for technical analysis of the market.
All of these courses and trainings are complete bullshit and the math doesn’t even add up. The ones who make these predictions have zero knowledge on any industries. To make it worse, there’s a lot of YouTube accounts with big following shilling these garbage. So you have the idiots making conclusions on something they know nothing about, and their favourite YouTuber shilling the same garbage. You wonder how we get so many echo chambers in this market.

Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future?
by
atupolev
on 29/05/2018, 06:30:08 UTC
It's actually very difficult to determine what's next or what matching coin can be with bitcoin, but if I think to beat bitcoin is hard, because we can see that all coin prices are influenced by Bitcoin and Eth, though in the future, because we know that as current enemies of alternative coins depend solely on bitcoin prices.
I think the only thing that will remove the correlation and cause-and-effect relationship between bitcoin price and the rest of the market is for one of the altcoins to breakout with a real-world product that is adopted for real-world use on a massive global scale by everyday people who don't invest in crypto

Re: what causes the price of altcoin down?
by
atupolev
on 29/05/2018, 06:24:47 UTC
It seems to me that the market is run by the same maybe few thousand people maybe even one hundred people and they just keep manipulating the price of everything. nobody is going to make money unless you swing trade like they clearly do. That seems to be the beginning of this year anyway. It's already Q2 and tons of good news came out but nothing is happening

This time of dip is a time for you to buy if you want investment. But if you are afraid to the risk it has better put your money in the bank.

Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams
by

on 29/05/2018, 06:16:06 UTC
When you invest in something there is always a risk. The same is with ICO. Not all of them are scams some of them just cannot complete all the tasks. But I agree with all who are telling that large amount of ICO like 70% are just scamming because you can gather a lot of money.
My advice if you invest in something then analyze it from all perspectives. Don't be greedy and don't invest with blindfolded eyes.

Crypto news is everywhere. You can find it here, in social media and in search engines like google. But most of the time, I get my news from this forum. People here are quick. They know instantly about fresh news however, some maybe unreliable. You can read them all, but choose what you believe in.

Re: We trust in crypto!
by
atupolev
on 28/05/2018, 13:23:17 UTC
This topic can be a long polemic. In short, "Everything will be OK."
If we talk on the points.
- the cryptocurrency has already reached a very big popularity.
- Institutional investors are gradually entering the market.
- capitalization is quite high. So a complete collapse is unlikely.
But what we have at the moment
- Long term fundamentals are still in a place where nothing has changed in the last 18 months.
- Security is still crap.
- Cryptos are still not user friendly.
- Cryptos are still VERY difficult to purchase for the average investor.
- Merchants integration and general adoption of cryptos is still crap.

Ask yourself, if cryptos disappeared tomorrow would it fundamentally change anything for the average person who isn't speculating on them?
Also ask yourself, how many people are still left in crypto who aren't planning to dump as soon as the price goes higher?
