at the salon event exahash era thing, FC is probably going to properly unveil submersion cooling tank for mass production with a price tag. shares will soar. Gaben will be so inspired that the next day, HL3 is released. Israeli Gov and Hamas will reach a peace deal. WHO will announce a breakthrough discovery for curing Ebola. Freedom will ring all across the world. . . . . . . . . .
So it's been 8 days and my direct shares haven't been transferred. How does this normally work? Is there a place I can submit a support ticket or something? I'm beginning to get a little impatient...
same here
Yea same as well, it's been about a week for me.
havelock is only growing. TBH, I would see ASICMINER going down before Havelock. Havelock has better margins than AM, not to mention they are taking over nearly their entire marketshare where AM will only slip.
Im also waiting on shares, and I want to transfer mine to havelock as soon as I get them
yeah except Havelock runs the bigger legality risk... look at all of the other securities exchanges that AM has outlasted. No way does AM go down before Havelock IMO.

yeah but honestly at this point I don't care if it crashes, I have the answers I needed so I am in no way worried about the future of AM - back to being bullish!

lol, I came here afraid that Havelock got shut down or something, haven't been able to access it. Hopefully it's just from people racing to buy up all of the AM100 they can

Speculation in regards to recent increase in btc price (30%?) and using hardware to mine...
This could be a huge boost in hardware sales, enabling us to sell as much hardware as possible in fiat (since we need that anyway to pay foundry, plus must price in fiat in china anyway) and then use extra chips to mine with. This will lower the cost of exchanging fiat --> btc & btc --> fiat since FC would only have to exchange the difference needed for bills/divs. Fiat could possibly pay power bills on mine, possibly leaving all mined btc for divs.
What blows my mind is the fact he will not address the investors directly... No one is that busy that they can not take 5 minutes and post some info to the people who funded his company.
I could have sworn I read somewhere that FC will be addressing us directly with some information in an upcoming update but I can't seem to find it in all this commotion.
don't get carried away by speculating on the quality of communication by friedcat. As pointed out multiple times, due to the nature of the operation there is little incentive to do extensive IR, other than the necessary accounting and communication through shareholder representatives (board). Instead the focus is on the core business. Friedcat decided to not pass the statements by the board first, but instead releasing them to the public directly.
Not 100% sure this is in regards to the 20 questions forwarded to him.
Yep that's what I read, and obviously I misread that as that relates to the financial reports and not the 20 questions.. My bad. Would have been nice to hear these answers directly from FC
I highly doubt FC cares too much about this thread at this point... between the cry babies throwing a fit about divs, the incredible about of FUD, and people outright slandering him is flat out disgusting. I can barely stand to be on this fucking thread with all of the idiocy flying around. Someone credible (Jutarul, minerpumpkin, etc...) should start a moderated thread where anything off-topic or non-serious is deleted. I'm not against hearing negative news, but I am against Spondoolies fanboys cluttering up this thread arguing with AM fanboys over who is better.

Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It
so he just paid all income from batch 1 for producing batch 2, and all income from batch 2 will be used for producing batch 3 etc?
Looks like that's the plan. How else would FC pay for those massive batches?
You guys sound pissed, but let's think about this. Mining is an arms race, so you can only sell these chips for so long before the demand is gone and with another company. We can see that demand is currently there based on the multiple companies who are using AM Gen3 chips. We need to push these batches out as fast as possible, then reap rewards later.
Presumably some of the costs of the first batch will not be there with the second and third - CAD Design and device samples stick out, but obviously I do not know the inner workings that well so I may be mistaken on this.
It would also seem that a lot of the costs will be upfront with the first batch and that it should be cheaper to make batches 2 and 3.
Just my thoughts - not looking for an argument, just a discussion.

Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It
What the fuck is this ? ? ? is this a joke ? FUCKING SCAM
Investments have risk... FC already paid out far more then what he took in from IPO. You can HARDLY call this a scam. If things go down hill and collapse from here, call it a failed business venture sure. But scams do not ship and develop working products that make their customers happy, and pay their investors their entire investment back before paying themselves. Remember that? FC paid ALL profits to investors till we were paid back in full... then everything after that was gravy.
INVESTMENTS HAVE RISK! Bitcoin is risky, and you are investing in an entirely bitcoin focused business. RISK!!! Do you not understand?! There is no free lunch...
not just that, but we still have a warehouse full of materials and chips to be sold/mined with

Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It
Cashflow statement up to May 27: - Any electricity for May 25 (Line 18) - Was released before payment of May 28 salaries (Line 22)
This makes it hard to estimate whether we are ramping up or withering away in both mining and production.
The balance sheets show a large amount of Materials waiting to be turned into chips. (Line 7) This looks to be the only bit of hope in this picture. Even then it looks bleak. If each chip makes 100% over cost, that bumps assets to 40 USD per share.
Well......
Edit: 7M USD is 17 dollars per share. Not quite the positive picture.
I wonder if we will be mining with any of these materials and chips in warehouse. It looks like we have paid rent for the two mining farm locations in April, with 264.02 mined in 2 months...

Friedcat new business is not called Bitfountain it is "比特泉科技有限公司" in chinese. Of course there are no positions for public shareholders open there. could be their balance sheets are looking more attractive, and blockchain address draw your own conclusions..
Bitquan Technologies Limited?
Does anyone know what they do?
