Each issued coin has an intrinsic value of 0.001oz gold, which it can be redeemed for at any time via the Auric Market. This is in addition and separate from the market determined dollar valuation. It ensures that Auric has a genuine 'base' value rather than being built on nothing more than speculation or hype. And as the ICO price for the coins was determined by the price of 0.001oz gold, it means that ICO investors have additional security and protection.

As to the price once Auric launches, that is for the market to determine. Unfortunately, the ICO is now over so there are no coins available at that price point. All funds from that (circa $9.5M) are now in merchant depositories for the gold backing. Full audits are in the process of being prepared for additional transparency for investors.

The prices there will be determined by the market, but Auric will always retain its intrinsic 0.001oz gold value should holders wish to trade in for the precious metal via our unique Auric Market. We are now 99% sold in the ICO, just a few left before it closes for good. Auric ICO Day 6 Update

As we approach the end of the ICO, we would advise those investors still looking to buy that you may not receive the allocation you are looking for, depending on the time your purchase order is processed. We are processing all applications strictly in the order received regardless of size - this is the fairest way to allocate these last few Aurics. A reminder - there won't be any further Auric issuance - this will be the last opportunity to obtain them at their base value of 0.001oz equivalent gold price. When the price of Auric rises at launch (as all our modelling indiciates), it's worth bearing in mind that Auric purchases made at these higher levels will not benefit to the same degree as our ICO investors. Please read our white paper for more details on this.

We had an order for 100,000 Aurics first thing this morning, which has significantly reduced the amount of coins still available, but we hope you are all able to get the allocations you're seeking before the ICO concludes.

If you read our thread and white paper you would understand there was no airdrop. Neither was an airdrop possible owing to the nature of our coin issuance. Every single coin issued is backed up by an equivalent value of gold, which is then stored against this coin as security should the coin owner wish to convert out of crypto into the precious metal.

We have raised over $8M, and at the conclusion of the ICO which is expected in the next couple of days when the last Auric are sold, the total stored in our merchant accounts at the gold depositories will be around $9.5M.


We would now suggest anyone who still wishes to buy Auric do so very quickly as there is now only around 5% of the coin supply left for ownership.

Auric ICO Day 4 Update

We have had two more institutional purchases overnight and we have now sold close to 90% of the available Auric in our ICO. We now expect the ICO to conclude by the end of the week. We are slightly behind with the purchases so please be patient if you have place an order and are still waiting for your welcome pack. We do appreciate it, as we appreciate all of your support.

There will be a special interim report emailed out to all Auric owners later today which contains important information regarding our launch, and the operation of the Auric Market at that time. Lots of interesting, and useful, details for you to digest at your leisure.

We now have over $7M of gold backing the Auric coins that you hold. Rest easy and with peace of mind - your Auric has true value regardless of short term swings in the cryptosphere. On launch, we are confident you will see a strong disconnect or 'decoupling' effect in terms of Auric/Bitcoin. We are up to date with all applications and will give a further update tomorrow. ICO Update: Day 2

We are pleased to announce that purchases continue apace - we have now sold nearly 3 million of the 7,200,000 Auric coins available. Our systems are processing and handling the payments efficiently and buyers continue to receive their coins in a timely manner.

We have now almost caught up with the backlog from the initial surge of purchases when the ICO started yesterday, and we are grateful for everyone's patience during that period!  We are ready for some larger buys tomorrow when the working week begins, and will keep everyone updated as to the progress of the ICO.
