The price of bitcoin and litecoin isn't "pink" right now. Bitcoin (and litecoin) is a long term investment, so don't worry, im pretty sure that the price will rise up to 20 in some time.
Kind of the same thought. LTC will hit $3 on it's way to $5, etc until its value in terms of USD's is irrelevant.
But the OP wants to know if the LTC price will hit $3 this summer, and the by the summer he probably means in a month or two. I think it all depends on what Bitcoin does over the next few months, if it rises then Litecoin might hit $3 and if it falls then so will Litecoin.

There were a great many POS coins distributed to bitcointalk members last year. It could be repeated by scanning the genesis block of each coin for addresses to distribute to. It's too late to manipulate the genesis distribution of those coins now.
Some of them are dead, but you could probably find people prepared to make downloads of their blockchains available. Some of them are still alive like coin2, community coin, faircoin, NAS, and premineplus.
The dead ones include BTCtalkcoin, FootballCoin, freebies coin, lottoshares, sharecoin, and yellowcoin.

No scientist's paper is worth shit unless its been "peer reviewed", which means a big gang of experts all need to have checked it out and agreed with it before it gets published. Most scientific journals are peer reviewed and all the papers in them have been checked by a gang of experts beforehand. We need more experts to check out NXT.

It's been hacked and you can't withdraw your coins until it reopens for withdrawals. That could take months.

Definitely use escrow otherwise you invite foul play.
That or go through one of those third party middleman services, which I suppose is close to escrow.
I tried using it but you had to install a firefox plugin. You couldn't simply give someone your address to type into a browser. You had to get them to install the plugin before they could use your URL. It might take off if it worked without the plugin.
