I am still running my 2GB cards for eth You just have to pair them 1 to 1 with 4gb cards and use claymores miner I'm still getting 15MH/s out of my old 270's
Hi. Can you, please, explain in more details, what do you mean with "pair them"? Still trying to find out, hw to do this trick...
Example1: you have 4 cards, 2 of 2Gb and 2 of 4Gb. Will they work? Does the slot position on the MB matter?
Example2: you have 1 4Gb card and 3 2Gb. Will they work? Does the slot position matter? (read somewhere, that 4Gb card should be GPU0)

It seems like XMR mining is better with GPU... Maybe I'm mistaken, but one Radeon HD7990 gives over 1000 h/s (this opinion is based on this post). For example 3 x HD7990 could easily beat 2 x E5-2699. And 3 x HD7990 are MUCH cheaper than 2 x E5-2699...

No offence, pal, I'm with you on the price question, but have you seen that miner? Or just promises (or cloudhasing)? Now I'm just listening to promises only to ship in Q3, Q4 ( if everything goes well ). Yes that is our entire point, to make GPU mining viable for the future.
To keep mining accessible and worthwhile to everyone.

Sounds good! But... What are the advantages of AEC over, for example, vert?! Just the "direct" conversion to fiat ( what is arguably for now, as nobody knows how does it work and does it work at all?! ) And why did you name it "Alter ego"? Quite a strange name for a currency, isn't it? To keep mining accessible and worthwhile to everyone.
