Meh, I step away from BTC for a couple of months and the tx fees have seemingly exponentially tripled on me from what I have been using, so now I have a transaction stuck until its forgotten really because I don't really have the dust funds to move anything from my wallet anymore.. And I don't think any miner would want to confirm it because of me unknowingly using fees from a few months ago without investigating..  ..I also realized that the RBF info stuff was not showing in my Electrum client because I didn't know about the updates and was still using 2.5.3, So this is a learning incident that in reality is totally my fault. Thank you for helping me figure out why my transaction has been stuck for the past couple of days. On a side-note, how long does it generally take for transactions to be forgotten..?

If you are just starting out you can sweep up some dust from various faucets (this will take alot of work as it takes a ton of dust to make a pile). Faucet earning are relatively small but it can give you some BTC to play with to find a way that works for you in gaining/making more. You can also take those dust earnings to a BTC casino, personally, I do not use these myself, and when I do, I only use dust earnings from their faucets, but you can potentially grow earnings via gambling. There are also ways of investing these dust earnings, but investments are very risky and you will never know if you will even get your money back in the end. The easiest way apart from faucets to get funds without being overbearing and potentially breaking rules doing stuff like scamming or begging (Both of which are frowned upon), you can "sell yourself" in essence, and no, I do not mean that way.. There are people and places that will hire "workers" to do stuff like transcription or surveys and then pay them in bitcoin. I used to do work for an ads group that would pay me to provide ads traffic, granted I did not make a lot doing that it was still paid work. 

Some newbies actually join here to become unwitting shills for a less than reputable "faucets", honestly, I made this mistake when I first started here. I joined to post transaction records for payment confirmations for a faucet that I later learned was a ponzi, to give the illusion that it was paying out. Unfortunately, like so many ponzis, it went scam.. I tend to stay out of that section of the board now, because not only did that happen right after I chose to invest in it foolishly, I also invested in another "ponzi" that turned scam after 2 years of operation where the admin falsely claimed to have been seized by the FBI. So yes, in a sense, I was foolish when I was a newbie, but learning from ones mistakes makes you wise.. usually.

This knowledge came from other members sharing their wisdom with me. So yes, there are "good" people that are newbies, seeking guidance and assistance, although sometime their questions can be random and answers can usually be found with a little searching, they are trying to find their sea-legs in a sense, and with proper guidance, they do not turn to the dark side.. :p

I have made money with faucets, albeit not a terribly huge amount, in total, I think to date I have only made about .02BTC off of faucets, but that took several weeks upon weeks to reach in reality. While they are just dust, collecting dust every once in a while does actually add up over time, hence while tables in abandoned buildings have inches of dust on them..  ..Realistically though, the amount of time that you would spend hunting down the 20 anti-bot links in a page (I hate those, especially when they are hidden between ads that are extremely close together), or waiting on captchas to load to decipher and type them, you could be doing some many other things to be making more consistent money. I, for example, joined mTurk (Amazon's paid microtasks site) several months ago and make money so much more quickly doing stuff like surveys and data-entry, granted its still not a lot of money as the tasks range from $0.01 to $0.20 per task on average usually.. Sometimes, there will be some worth more, but its money, and you are working for it.. 

The head chef at my school says that there is no such thing as the free truck, that even though it has the illusion of being free, someone is paying for it somewhere, in the example of BTC it's whether through paying for electricity to run the mining platforms, or the costs of the internet to connect to somewhere to get "free" btc, someone is paying for that "free" money..

If you work with faucets, technically you will have many different wallets by nature, although you do not have complete control over faucet wallets, just the funds that eventually come to you, and even then, most times, they are held in escrow linked to the address you give them until you reach a payment threshold to avoid littering the blocks with nonsensical transactions. Personally, I don't really have other wallets besides my Xapo wallet and Electrum wallets. I do have funds in places like faucetbox and other places but those are really just temporary storage until I can reach the payout thresholds to get them.

While this seems to be a worthwhile adventure, I mean earning bitcoin doing what I basically do on other servers, wouldn't this be something that violates Microjang's EULA? I remember reading that they actually started enforcing it in a way 1.9.4+ in where EULA-non-compliance caused your server to become blacklisted in the core game and made it unable to connect to from the vanilla launcher. Also, Bitquest does not require 3rd-party mods to be installed? However, checking their reddit and the launcher, this server is currently down and has been down for about 3 days now..

Personally, I used Electrum for BTC. It is a compact installation and does not need to download the blockchain (as with bitcoin is huge now after many years of transactions  ). It connects through the blockchain via remote connection to a blockchain explorer. In my experiences, its very easy and very quick to use. And as long as you secure your wallet code, which is a string of words unique to your wallet, it is very forgiving, should you forget your encryption key, all you have to do is create a "new" wallet using your original wallet code and you have your wallet back sans encryption code. That is why it is extremely important to secure your code, as anyone with it can do the same thing.   

However, I do use other wallets besides Electrum. I have a xapo wallet, however, in my experiences is only really good for things like faucets and gambling where they offer direct pay and/or bonues for using a xapo wallet. There is multiple layers of passwords and confirmations that can sometimes make it a hassle to access your coin quickly. I usually end up flushing my xapo wallet into my electrum wallet every few weeks so that I have better access to my coin.

Personally, I have never had all that of a great experience with xbt. People sell themselves short to try making money that they are just interested in small money over actually getting what the job that they just did is actually worth, so you are constantly undercut and the people posting work only seem interested in the cheapest buck and do not care whatsoever about skilled workers giving honest estimates of the cost weighed over the amount of time needed to complete such a product. I laughed at a hit one time where someone was posting that were looking for a ghost-writer for 100+ page novel and someone said that they would do it for literally a buck, when publishers generally pay per word, granted its usually $.005-.01 a word.. Sometimes the price is higher. I am just saying that while xbt will work for some, its not really for everyone unfortunately.. 

In my opinion, micro earnings does not have to be for just BTC. mTurk pays its workers in cash, and being that mTurk is serviced by Amazon, the only way to really be "scammed" is a requester not accepting your hit, and as long as you follow the safety guidelines set forth by mTurk, you aren't as exposed to viruses, although it can still ostensibly happen, from not paying attention. Besides, the pay is in cents and dollars rather than microchange like satoshi and/or litoshi or even doge.. 

Faucets are alot of work for little pay, unless you happen to find one of those rotators that only lists "high-paying" faucets, but even then you are only getting fractions of pennies and it could take days or even weeks to even get more than 100k satoshi. Sometimes paid tasks offer better payouts, but newbies might make the mistake of sending the work before the payment is received or at least some form of verification of payment, like with mTurk (Amazon's Paid Task site) where they tell you how much the job is worth, and what must be done to receive payment. Not everyone is as trustworthy and might not send payment after receiving the work.. But che sera, I guess.. 

...Not everyone here. Personally, I would not recommend WoW as toxicity in mmo players seems to be tied back ostensibly to the WoW player base, at least it always gets blamed on them in other games. Elitism also seems to be tied loosely to the WoW player base as well. I have played WoW and found nothing enjoyable past dance parties, even after giving it multiple chances. I loved Warcraft as a strategy game, but cannot seem to enjoy it as an mmo, unfortunately.

It is a 30 day period with no posts tracked (inactivity on the forums) before the system kicks an account into inactive. It has been stated before that if you get removed from the campaign for inactivity, you would need to send a support ticket in on yobit to see if they can/will reactivate your account. If an account has been made inactive without a 30 inactivity wait, it is almost certainly for breaking rules as was the case it would seem.

The easiest thing to do, well its what I do anyways, is bookmark the /signature/ link and use that as your only link/bookmark to yobit. Every time that I log into the site is through that page so that I could always check on it when I go to the site. 

I don't always check on my earnings to flush them into my wallet, but I have known that it tends to not really want to work on certain days of the week.. But its no biggie, at least its still there waiting for me, and will come to me once the button is fixed again.. Honestly, its just a little bit of a waiting game like waiting on your paycheck for work.. 

The resolution of image makes it kinda difficult to see the number of bananas if you do not pay attention.. xD ..But it does seem to be like a funny way to stump your friends and annoy your enemies.

I was just logged into the site, although it took about 5 minutes to resolve around a combination timeout and 500 error (Although it can probably be attributed to my browser being stupid which seems to happen sometimes) to get to the login screen.. So the site is still active, but I cannot accredit its ability to payout because of the costs of the transaction fees.

I don't think so much that people are afraid to post, but that the people whom have had the unfortunate task of dealing with codish in the past probably don't really want to talk about "her" because from what is still seen is too much drama to even really care about in my opinion.  I think she was just trying to cry out for attention in all of the wrong ways really.

Its also says in the post that if you see people with neg. trust from default to report them, as the program doesn't appear to be completely streamlined and still requires some moderation with mods from or representing yb to go through and note people abusing the system, as the signup itself is completely automated. It is clear that if you abuse the system you lose out, including poor quality posting and breaking the rules.  ..There are watchdogs that monitor people whom are apparently abusing the system, and they usually get caught relatively quickly. 

Is it normal to assume that it was pronounced Veeta King until I googled it and realized that Vita was short for something else? 

Heh, did not see this coming... So I was following up on some of the ICANN information for ore-mine.org and brought up so interesting information about the host. Under the ICANN information the admin email address filed in the whois is listed as .  Of course, the admin is listed as the Host, Legato LLC out the Samara Region in Russia. Well the allperson.ru server is long defunct but seems to have a lot of ties to this Legato host as several of their sites seem to be tied to this email server. This blog was dredged up (It can be found here.) looking into the email server trying to find out information about it:


With this information, if we were to take what Sector said about being locked out with a grain of salt with his supposed geographical region, it is possible that Legato actually pulled the scam and left Sector as the scapegoat/fallguy. I am not defending Sector as he is probably still in on this as he has been gone for a week now with no updated information as well as using Legato assumedly without doing research into Legato itself, as that blog post was from an incident involving said host almost 3 years ago, but I did say a few days ago that there is likely more information than we know about this situation.. This information was found in a couple of minutes simply using google.
