also if i have the latest version and pools that im mining in has an older version of the wallet, will my coins be safe?
Yes, it is just bitcoin updated so we updated to. It is just a minor update no reason to worry.
also im mining at acoin.hashhot.com and i have coins thats been on unconfirmed for a very long time now. but 0 for confirmed. what could be causing the delay to confirm the coins?
Same here 77+ coins unconfirmed. Moved to Suprnova.cc until resolved.
No trades in GB's on MintPal, Moolah went belly up run out of money. Bankruptcy "voluntary dissolution" announcement yesterday notes plans of MintPal management transfer. With all their delays it may be hard to regain any trust with traders IMHO. This is the message up on MP today. "MintPal is currently down for a number of necessary changes and fixes. A separate method of withdrawing funds will be made available on October 16th, 2014."
I would like some help with getting my wallet working , do everything that was asked of me , deleted all files except wallet , downloaded new version , done the delete thing again , not sure what there is else to do , it just says 0 connections and not syncing ??
I wonder if a peer or config file would get you back on track? I'm not a Dev, hope someone PM's you with a solution. I've noticed on Mac the GB's wallet will hang/crash at least once a day (even V2.5). I have to force quit and reopen it and I'm fine for a period of time.

Besides mass adoption for Doge why would you want to compare GB's to coins that trade lower? I would personally avoid Doge and RDD or BLU comparisons. The others look fine to me. I just think GB's is on a different tier-trajectory, really don't want RDD GB BLU (color) comparisons! I guess I would focus on other PoS coins like VRC, NXT i.e.

< - Jr Member! GreenBacks should come up with a Proof of Vote system (POV) tie it to their blockchain somehow. 1000 GB per vote? Thanks for not deleting my posts, I got to VOTE!
Is there any reason why you two can't vote? We can't accept votes in the comment section because we don't want people being able to vote twice.
Newbies can't vote, apparently
Nope you are correct. In a popularity contest it should not really matter the members level. Right? They are really looking for the most opinions and its not like we can vote twice (..er I guess you could make a bunch of accounts). BTW a couple more posts and I'll have graduated to "Jr. Member", so I had to reply.
MintPal is still down but on a positive note, they are extending our fee free trading window to 60 days. This means that all trades will be fee-free until December 3rd, 2014

I assume it's because we are newbie members? As a holder of over 35k (not a lot but enough for a say) It would have been nice to be able to participate.

3 & 4 are the same, and it does not appear that all the logos are here.

While debating religion, it appears S4-B1 has SOLD OUT!
Do you believe this to be a marketing ploy, putting up S4-B2 or are they actually selling these to crazy people?

I'd almost rather Bitmain ship the S4 without a power supply included. It would make them cheaper to produce and ship. It's not like most miners don't have several sitting around and it would also allow us the opportunity of choice.
Discards do not matter. CK said they mean nothing and should never have been reported and tracked in the first place. The "-" you see is a malfunctioning ASIC. It should still be under warranty and BitMain can help you fix it if the chips is bad. I got someone good when I had a under performing board and they replaced it.
Before you do all that "-" is not a dead a ASIC "x" is and even those can come back (I've seen it) power off the supply try moving your PCIE cables around. I assume your only using 2 one on each board, if your using 4 unplug 2 (if no plans to OC) and then power the supply back on. Reboots alone don't always fix S3's. I agree discards don't matter.
thanks for info. after powering off psu and give it few minutes to rest all went to normal. no dead chips.
is psu broken/ageing or it is antminer issue? psu is corsair cx750 powering only this s3
I have several S3's that range from B1-B6 and they all have their issues. All of my S3's have never shown Best Share, my B6-S3's do not show the correct fan speed, also all of them have given ASIC errors at some point (mostly when an overclock is attempted).
