There is a lot of shady things going on with Usa citizens not being able to get there coins on the exchange. So where are the coins and will they return them.?

It is not shady. They cleared beforehand that they will not give service to US residents.
It is the only way they can remain open.
There is no point to argue that.

They also give a fair option (the 50% withdraw without question before 15th September) without questions.
Any US residents should have accepted it.
I know that it sucks. But, again, they cannot deal with US anymore.

The problem is that they did not let everyone withdraw due to verification issues.

well the 2FA from before isn't working and they've said I need to verify w/ passport to reset it, which then bans me i would guess.  was just hoping there was a way to withdraw the coins and then shutdown the account with support afterwards if a us citizen.

thanks for the link, will check it out. definitely sucks whats going on but nice to see btc gives no fucks

I am having the same issue with Wex...They have my bitcoin  and litecoin on there exchange. My account was locked when they were Btc-e and I was in the process of getting it unlocked when the FEds seized there servers. Now they will not let me verify my account because I am an usa citizen. I am furious because they have my Litecoin and Bitcoin on there account but will not let me get to my own tokens. this has to be wrong!

My guess is that they are using the "we can't associate in any way or manner w/ the US" excuse.  Thus refusing to deal with those residing in the US or having US citizenship completely.  Makes sense in order to avoid any contacts with the US, but there needs to be another method for people in the US to access and withdraw.

If only they would implement a withdraw only lockdown for US accounts, that would be sufficient for me, even without the tokens.

They never gave all US customers an opportunity to cut and run.  Maybe only US customers with no issues w/ verification or access...  So basically, those of us who had F2A delinking issues, inactivity lockout issues, or IP whitelist issues before the shutdown and didn't get them fully resolved before the shutdown are now screwed.

So the only way for US citizens to "verify" is to obtain residency in a non-US country... great...

At the moment they are setting BTC & LTC balance to zero for every account after getting verified. So it doesn't even matter where you are from. In this forum and on reddit there are also ppl from europe (like me) & russia confronted with this probleme.

Only btc and ltc? or all crypto balances?  And it seems like at least some people don't have that problem, unless they're the ones that never had to verify in the first place?

I just had some dollars on btc-e after verification. They are still on there. BTC and LTC gone, but I did not hold any other crypto on btc-e. But I already read that other cryptos are not effected like USD.
I don't know who is selected for the balance remove. But it looks like the probleme just started few days and older verifications never had that issue.

Sounds more like a glitch than anything else.  I just moved into an ETH position before my phone was stolen about 2 weeks prior to the shutdown, so I had to go through f2a unlinking and got stuck...  fml.

They haven't got their Verification provider sorted out yet, they are not using the same provider as BTC-e did.

Verification is supposedly up, but screws all U.S. account holders, as they will not verify U.S. accounts.
Do you blame them? WEX saw what happened to BTC-e servers with FBI raid, they don't want to give the FBI an excuse to do the same thing to the WEX servers, so the easiest way to do that is ban US users. Sounds perfectly logical to me.

Any losses that US users incurred as a result of the FBI shutting down BTC-e are not a legal concern of WEX, that's the whole point of limited liability companies, they are separate legal entities. Just because WEX took over some assets of BTC-e doesn't mean they need to take any of the liabilities. BTC-e didn't do a runner, they were shutdown by hostile actions from the US and UK. People conveniently seem to forget that.

"Limited liability" just limits personal liability for company debts, as in bankruptcy proceedings. It doesn't give LLCs free license to steal customer money, or absolve them of criminal wrongdoing, or remove affiliation to connected entities (through ownership, debt, etc) in the eyes of the law.

I'm not surprised, though. They gave US customers an opportunity to cut and run before the launch of WEX last month. The 55% refund felt to me like a signal to people incapable of verifying: get out now.

So apparently, to verify with Wex, you cannot reside or be a U.S. citizen.  That means anyone who is in the U.S. will not be able to verify, and thus locked out of their accounts?   =/

Not sure how escrow works, but would really prefer fiat if you can do that.
How many PSU's did you want? I have spare parts to help you complete more adapters if you want, and can include them if you want more than one PSU.

I only have 3 PCIe cables attached in the pic, but I can include a few more.  This PSU should easily support 3 GPUs at full power.

It's actually an HP DPS-800GB.  I also lowered the price.

The two additional PSU's do not, but the interface cards can be easily made if you have basic soldering skills.

As for selling it alone, nope, sorry.  the interface card is plug and play, but Id' rather not separate them.  I can look to see if I have the materials to make another one though, if your'e interested.

wow, sorry for the late reply, forum didn't email me when there was a response....

you can put as many PCI-e connectors as you want on the server PSU, but of course, it's limited to 1000w output, so at most 8 I'd imagine.  I have 6 on there now.

Oh?  I thought the wattage was rated before the efficiency... hmmm oh well, guess one learns new things everyday.

afaik, most power supplies run most efficient at under 90% load anyways.

Get a wire frame shelf, zip-tiue gpu's under the shelves... $50 for a shelf that will hold about 30 GPU's...  why bother with a case at all?

If the Add2psu is a gimick what's the best option to trip it on? Smiley

A paperclip, metal staple, short length of wire etc....
You only need to connect the green wire to one of the black ones on the 24 pin plug.

^ this

Or, if you really want to b "neat," you could just use a 2-1 splitter for the ATX connector, which is ~$10.  But a paper clip or short length of solid wire is really your cheapest alternative.

Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup

So after 5 hrs, my "overclocked" cub has climbed to 33.9 gh/s (87.21% efficiency), while my standard/low clocked cube is operating at 31.6 gh/s (96.14% efficiency).

Huh Any idea why it won't get anywhere near the 38 gh/s??  voltages all test out correctly too.  Can Cubes be too cold?  the outer case is cold, and the air exiting it is pretty cool as well (feeding it freezing air from a window).

I'm also unable to break 95% efficiency on the cube, any tips??

Take it out of its case and put another fan on it.  I run over 38.2gh/s on both of my 2 cubes.

The air exiting the Cube is already cold... what would adding more airflow do?  The cube already feels like a cold plate.  It's 36F ambient outside, from which the air blown at my Cubes are from.  I don't think heat is an issue. (yes, all the heatsinks have been property tightened).

I'm having a weird problem... perhaps it's due to lack of power?

Low clock setting, I'm getting 31gh/s.  on the high setting, I'll get 32...  o.O

It's connected to a seasonic 1250w supply by itself and sitting in front of a fan that's blowing icy cold air at it.  Any suggestions?

How long have you left it running?
It took aprx 4 hours for mine on High to register the additional hashing on my RasPi (Stratum Proxy) and the pool (Eligius)
went from 32ish to 38ish.

I had it running for about an hour, but the breaker blew once my fridge turned on... no idea why living room and kitchen are wired together apartment wiring... ugh)

I just connected the cube to my room for use as my room heater, and will see how it goes.  The firmware must be slowly ramping up voltage, which is a good implementation (if it really is)

Thanks for the info.
