I want to tell everyone:

Exchanges APIs is not perfect, and many of them have not optimized methods and it cause a lot of traffic.

Reasons that exchanges takes a lot of traffic:

Bitstamp API

Last Trades: can not be limited by last date received, there is only hour and minute. So hour data downloaded every request. So if at last hour happend a lot of transactions, it will takes a lot of traffic.
Order Book: Bitstamp order book can not be limited by count. So every request download all data every time.
Bitstamp Does not allow HTTP gzip compression, so it takes more traffic than other exchanges.

BTC-e API

Last Trades: can not be limited by last date received, they added count limit, but it useles. We need last received date and get only new rows!

Bitfinex: Does not allow HTTP gzip compression, so it takes more traffic than other exchanges.

Mt.Gox

Order book: can not be limited by count. But this will be not important when I'll release websocket engine.
Mt.Gox Does not allow HTTP gzip compression, so it takes more traffic than other exchanges.

This not optimized methods not only make traffic larger, but it makes exchange works slower.
If you want your favorite exchange works faster, than send report to them for making more optimal methods.
And if I have something missed, or you will get updated info about API, please send to me, and I'll make it better!
Also please note, Order Book requests send only when Order Book tab is visible.
If you want make traffic smaller, than make HttpRequestInterval larger.

My ideal exchange API methods requirements:

Order Book: can set count for each asks and bids. So if user will chuse small count of depth, it will be not just visual limitation, but received data will be much smaller.
Last Trades: each trade in request result should have timestamp, so we remember last received timestamp and new request will use this value as parameter to prevent receiving already received data.
HTTP gzip compression support: it will cause 5 time lower traffic, and users who have slow internet will receive much faster updates.

Ok, thanks...

I will send link of this conversation to Bitstamp and ask them to do something about it...

Hi

I have problem with downloading speed from Bitstamp. It is 300 kb/s what is 30GB Daily.
Download speed from BTC-e is OK.

Is this normal?

Thanks...

EDIT: I changed API key...now is OK

EDIT2: It was good for some time and it is high again...Huh

...Bitstamp team confirmed that everything is OK

...I was so paranoic, perhaps because I saw that withdrawal (what is thing about how their system works) with conected QtBTrader  Shocked showing offline but now with new API key works great

It's OK I checked the signature and app is placed in my personal folder so it is not from instaler...

I realy don't get it how that happened and wondering if I didn't exchanged BTC->USD  will BTC been stolen?
Looks like malware somehow is trying to withdrow all BTC ballance.
I dont Know what happened. I checked my PC with Emsisoft asquared Antivirus and found nothing except some bad reg keys.

We shall see what will Bitstamp team tell me and if that happened in the same time when Qt BitcoinTrader conected through API. If yes it is interconected somehow with Qt BTC Trader.

I will post it here when they answer me...

What should I do now? should I delete Qt Bitcoin Trader apps???

PS. I was changing BTC-e HttpRequestInterval to 600 before conecting to Bitstamp if that means something Roll Eyes

Do you have saved email server password in browser and you was logged in to bitstamp web site at moment this happend?
If yes, it could be some virus/malware app, if not, your passwords could be stolen.

Check Qt Bitcoin Trader app properties, if there present digital signature (julyighor@gmail.com), it is legit app, so you don't need to remove it.
But if you installed it using some "Installers", not just copying file, this means you used fake installer witch may contains virus.

You should try remember where you downloaded Qt Bitcoin Trader. If it was official source this means you download other malware apps.
Anyway check all system by antivirus and change passwords in all important websites.
And don't use same password to every web site.

here is a scan

was logged in at Bitstamp

I don't use the same pass...

Not shore about installer...

There is no withdrawal request at Bitstamp...

Maybe the server of bitstam has something???--is that posible?

It is not fake, I traded at BTC-e but now this happened. The good thing is that I exchanged 1.47 BTC to USD at Bitstamp because 1.47 was already there and I was monitoring blockchain. But look at those adresses with 4, 3, or 37 BTC and at my Bitstamp account was just 1.47. How is that posible to withdraw more than what is at account???

Transaction looks correct. Please contact Bitstamp and find out how withdrawal happend, try to remember recent installed apps, than put information here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400487 to prevent this happend with someone again.

I contacted them as soon as that hapened...
I know that Bitstamp API don't support withdrawals...
So who is robbed now as I exchanged BTC to USD before blockchain 1. confirmation???
