Ah ha! That explains the Delta datasheet I just looked at for their newest fans. Their wiring diagram showed yellow as the PWM command and blue as feedback which is the reverse of most fan wire colors....

Thought they may have screwed up the diag or I was going nuts...

The other possible 'gotcha' is that there are 2 styles of PWM control and of course they are also the reverse of each other: 1 uses zero or very low pulse duty-cycle = full speed and as duty-cycle increases the fan slows down. This is safest because if the command wire is cut or shorts the fan runs a full speed. The other control method is 100% duty-cycle = 100% speed. Anyone ever check to see which Bitmain uses?

2.7A Fan issue - S7/S9

Hi, Im changing my fan to 2,7A, with 6000rpm, after change, the miner both s7/s9 cant detect the fan., red light on after 5 min and machine stop hashing. Anyone have same problem before? please help.

for antminer, im running 70-75 without a problem for 2 year++, as im new to Avalon, i dont have any data on this.

hi All, my A741 is running at Temperature 45-50 / 98 - 100, with 100% fan speed and -1 Power. Anyone know what's the maximum allow for this machine?

What's your temperature ?

hi philipma1957, i have some confused, your A7 ip is 192.168.0.100 it's because your home router is set 192.168.0.1 right? so, if my home router is 192.168.1.1, the A7 ip might be something 192.168.1.100 correct?

192.168.0.100 <-- this is not the fixed ip for A7 ,

or maybe im wrong?

Im just switch from S9 to A7, just ordered! as i know the default ip for A7 is 192.168.0.100, but, my router is 192.168.1.1, it's possible to change the Avalon controller ip from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.1.xx ? possible?

first look at the mirror and curse at your self for doing a firmware upgrade when your gear was working. Grin

next power down.  wait 5 minutes  power up

then wait 1 hour and check your gui

I feel very regret for doing upgrade!!, seriously.., it's an hour ++, it's still not hashing,.. Oh My God!, it's anyway to restore to its original version firmware?
