There are two things in life that are sure. "Death and taxes' No one likes to pay taxes but be happy that knowing that when you are taxed that means you are making money. If you are willing to leave your country to avoid paying your tax, Roll Eyes I would say you don't have a very good country.

I see BTC being used around the world at an exponential rate. I look at how some companies grew over the years and how they expanded at a rate that was never dreamed of back in the 1980's. Walmart, Mcdonalds, as an example. My point is this, people that think $100,000 BTC is high now is like when Walmart was trading for .20 cents in 1980, and now they have stores all over the world. The potential for massive growth is possible when only 0.2% of the population use crypto now.

So they ARE stored on the crypto exchanges. Why did I have to read 25 responses to finally get an answer? Mabey I already know more about BTC than some of you. Thanks to my stepson who knows more about BTC than most of you all.

Being new to BTC I would like to know where the BTC are held that are for sale? I am learning as I can understand a complicated subject the deeper I dig into BTC. My stepson is a BTC bull, and he says I need to spend 1000 hours to understand BTC? Other than private wallets, is there a pool of BTC, and how many are there of the 21000000 total available?
You are educated so why is your stepson saying you need 1000 hours to understand Bitcoin. If he cared for you he would teach the baby step basics because it is going to benefit your existence.

I am looking to buy more BTC ETF before I go deeper into buying the actual BTC wallet.

Follow up to previous question of BTC storage

So after reading 7 answers to my question I have concluded that 1 BTC =100 million satoshie, and there is NO pool of BTCs for sale  and all selling or buying takes place on the block chain from a wallet that is on the blockchain. As for new BTCs that are created by the miners, My guess is those are sold to someone that has a wallet on the block chain. Sounds like a closed loop of an operation? So could a billionaire buy a million BTCs and try to pump and dump BTC to control the value like they do in the stock market Dark Pool? I am learning a lot here. Thanks for your inputs.
