Banks are allowed to charge for Euro transfers within the SEPA area as long as the charge is the same for domestic and SEPA transactions.  As the UK doesn't use the Euro, our banks can have a zero fee for domestic transactions and another for Euro transactions.  However, you should find it cheaper than the alternative SWIFT transfer (my banks fee for SEPA transfer is half the cost of SWIFT)

If the Halifax sends in it euros, they will do the conversion before sending the money.  If they send it in GBP, the receiving party will convert it.  The choice depends on which gives the best exchange rate.  If it was me, I'd send in euros unless the receiving party is happy to get GBP and won't charge for converting them.

J have 4 BFL SINGLE 60 GHs each on one PC.
Windows 7, Java 7.40, new drivers, Bitminter 1.4.1
Bitminter shows all of the singles.
But sometimes, one or two don´t start. Sometimes they do.
I don´t knwo what to do.

Surely you'd want to leave them running all the time instead of turning them on and off?

Well, there are so many people who are doing what you are doing right now - buying high hashrate ASICs.  Because of this the the amount of hashing power is increasing rapidly.  When the current rush of miners have got their systems in-hand, the hash rate will steady out somewhat.

Unless the price of bitcoin increases, I don't think rigs bought now will ever make enough to repay their cost as the total hash rate spirals.

Of course, you could keep buying more rigs to keep up your hashing power  Grin

Hi,

I've just joined the forum.  I recon I've come into the game too late, should have done this a couple of years back.  But after playing around with a GPU and a BE for a month, I've just invested in another five Block Erupters and a Raspberry Pi.

Hopefully the BE will have paid for themselves in a year, and I've got something geeky to play with, and a talking piece, seeing their lights flickering away as they work.  I think the days of making a killing have passed as the world economy gets better, but it's a fun thing to do and there's always the possibility of making a little bit of money.
