WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW

Hey arsenische, I have cookies enabled.  I guess there's a chance that I went to the site sometime before using NeonLicht's posted url.  Sounds like that would have caused me to have a different sponsor.  If that's the case then I apologize for the confusion.

I just tried to use the referral link NeonLicht left with the 462 member number but I ended up with member 700 as my sponsor (sorry NeonLicht); I even tried it more than once.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Anyway I'm a member now on bitcoin pyramid with member number 843.  I guess I got in too late for a free .01 BTC, but I thought I'd leave the feedback about my issue anyway.

Thanks for the info P4man.

Not too sure that I have a use for installing a client, but it might be worth it just to see what it's like.  It's still a very abstract thing in my mind right now.  Until I see what the client interface and "silk road" network look like all I can think of is a web browser on the internet.  I get that the internet is what's used and different clients can have different looks to them (I assume so anyway), but I wonder things like... is there a way to search for stuff and can you link in and out of normal network sites...?

I have to agree that the 5 posts isn't an issue.  Hell this counts as one of mine.  The bigger issue (and one that I don't have a problem with) is the four hours.

PayPal - good or bad?
by
badger4life
on 23/09/2011, 18:06:10 UTC
I've never had a paypal account so I wanted to try and get some feedback from the bitcoin community about the service.  I understand how a paypal account can have value and why someone would want to create one.  I've also heard bad things about paypal and how they can be very heavy handed.

Any constructive replies will be very much appreciated  Smiley

Anyone ever use the tor functionality in Vuse?  Is it straight forward or are there other suggestions for a client?

Are there any other sites like forbitcons?  As much freelance web work as there is it would be nice.

So as far as computer applications go, just using Silk Road is reasonably safe?  Any hacking issues that someone needs to worry about just from installing the software?

NEW] Post your [BTC On Tilt] username here and I'll credit your account 50 chips!

Hey Weaver, I'm new to the bitcointalk forums so I can't reply to your post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39759.0) over in the marketplace section.  I'm going to start a thread here in the newbies section if that's OK.

My username at btcontilt.com is badger4life.

Thanks!
