A good rule I think is to only store small amounts online and keep large amounts offline. That way you have the convenience of online but not as much risk.

I compare it to my wallet i have i have in RL and my savings which i keep in the bank.

It might grow a bit but not to $10 so quick. Future of litecoin really depends on adoption, it could quickly loose value if another strong altcoin where to come along.

CudaMiner uses the CPU a bit so if you have a slow CPU this is likely the cause.

You should defiantly get better performance using a native client like cgminer.

Ive used BTC-E for doing cross currency and it seems ok. One thing that is a little annoying is the 3 day wait on withdrawals for new accounts but i guess it cant be helped.
