Team News
We've made several major additions to the team over the past few days, including but not limited to:

A dedicated, experienced Project Manager
A dedicated, experienced Social Media Manager (who is also a well known member of BitcoinTalk)

More information on these two individuals is coming soon, and will be added to the OP.

We're also very close to finalizing discussions with a new dedicated Technical Writer, Systems Architect, and Developer. Each of which may be joining the team in the next few days.

Web App & Network Protocol Development News
We have some new features being deployed this weekend for the web app alpha/proof of concept. So be on the lookout for that.

The ROIcoin codebase rebrand and testnet setup is going well, and should be live within the next 2 weeks at most. From there, new features will begin to be added, on our way towards the mainnet release.

Bug bounties, etc will be setup along the way to ensure all is safe and secure.

We're about to onboard our first high-caliber advisor, our much needed Business Advisor (and potential first Community Mentor), who will be announced after our final discussion this coming Tuesday, if all goes well. Fingers crossed!

Only on day ~30, and originally I started this (and announced) alone. The team has grown exponentially since then. Even still, I'm a developer with 10+ years experience, I plan to take this project to the finish line regardless of how big our team gets, or how much funding we may or may not get.

We're in the process of bringing an extremely talented, experienced PM on board to help whip things into shape, literally finalizing signatures and contracts now.

As far as current investments, we have none other than our time and personal money invested so far (Thats how much we believe in this project). Everything is, has been, and will continue to be funded by myself and Matt until further notice.

The pre-mine info will be up today most likely, along with allocation and further breakdowns.

This will not be your typical pump, dump and jump ICO-only type project.

We're in this for the long haul.

I do agree however, more team info -- including pictures, bio's, and social media accounts -- are being added ASAP.

Working on it, upated onepager and other documents are being released any day now with that info.

We're still in pre-alpha, building our team of advisors, partners, etc.

You do realize the project is less than a month old (and that page you SS'd was down for less than 3-4 hours while I slept -- God forbid, right)?

We're new, I take responsibility for that error. In my defense, I work TWO jobs, and this one I work on late at night and weekends -- basically any free time I have. More often than not, to the point of falling asleep at my desk.

Also, BAKD.me IS the pre-alpha web app -- it's only up in an attempt to be transparent during our development phase. No one claimed it was a 100% (or even 5% for that matter) functional website?

We're trying something different. Not hiding behind an "Under Construction" page, while asking for $10MM during an ICO exit scam. (Note: BAKD is not having, and has never planned on having, an ICO)

For future reference -- since you seem more concerned with trying to put down new projects rather than reading about, and supporting them -- BAKD.io is the info page.

BAKD.me is where the pre-alpha web app is being developed -- openly and live. So you'll have plenty more chances to take screen shots of errors, if that's your thing.

You'll be happy to know, we're in the process of setting up a staging server so issues like that never happen again on the production server. However, with limited funds, time, and manpower -- you can see how these things take time.

Finally... this thread was meant to help us find a project manager... so we can spend more of our own time (and money) on development, rather than responding to trolls.

You're more than welcome to post your screenshots to our main thread.

Hey Everyone!

We have a project that's already in full swing (but still in relatively early stages) -- called BAKD -- and we're in need of more developers.

WEBSITE ECOSYSTEM:
BAKD.io is the information website
BAKD.me is the (very very very new) alpha website -- we'll be developing and pushing updates to the web app portion live from start to finish for this.

To be clear, we're looking for BOTH web as well as software developers, and of pretty much any experience level to start.

We need at minimum:

• 2 more developers, hopefully experienced with PHP or something similar (Preferably with Laravel framework experience)
• Possibly 1 dedicated frontend developer (familiar with Vue2, or some other JS framework)
• And around 3 C++ developers for the token network protocol development (familiar with Boost a plus).

Not only that, this project is being personally funded by myself & Matt at the moment, so any help at all would be greatly appreciated so we can get this finished up in a timely manner!

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The main jist of the project, is a place where crypto enthusiasts, professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs can get together to list their projects to hopefully get crowdfunded. The twist being, funds are handled by the BAKD platform (in the form of BAKD tokens) as well as disbursed by the platform.

if pre-defined milestones aren't continually met, or the project is abandoned, remaining funds can be rescinded. At any time, BAK'ers can call a vote to rescind the remaining funds as well. The platform also handles all disbursements (similar to an escrow service) during the development of the project until a pre-defined "ending" milestone is reached, and the balance of the campaign funds collected are released to the project owners. This could be the finishing of a testnet, mainnet, whatever.

Not only that, it would also be a social network type of portal where members can identify as an "advisor" -- "investor" -- "mentor" -- "developer" -- etc, and from within a searchable directory, project owners can follow/unfollow and reach out to prospective new team members for their projects. Users can be rated, show their past involvement in campaigns, past investments, their followers, profile information, and much more.

The project owners would have their own campaign admin dashboards, from which they can monitor and setup their campaign, comment/communicate to all of their connected social networks with one form and click, post finances, goals, team members, etc. -- as well as advertise on the real time social feeds.

There is much more to it, but that should give you a pretty good idea of what we're attempting to do

Hi All,

Just another quick update...

Since BAKD.me is where the main application is going to 'live' -- the plan is now to leave it live from start to finish. You are all free to check out and follow along with the progress live, directly on the site itself (Although, not much to look at just yet, but check back often! The authentication system is mostly there, and registered users will not be getting deleted -- so if you want to reserve your username, best to do it now).

By all means, PLEASE free to throw out any ideas or feature requests that you may have now -- we're building this for YOU guys, and we want it to be something you really feel as though you were a part of the process.

For a "worthy" alpha, we were thinking that at minimum we would need the following features to be (mostly) functional:
- Basic version of the overall theme/layout
- Basic static pages (contact, privacy policy, terms & conditions, help, etc)
- All of the basic authentication pages - including social auth
         - Possibly 2FA
- The real time 'sentiment wall'
         - This is the social aspect of the site, which would be tied in to active, past, and future campaigns -- among other things
- The searchable directory for professionals and projects/campaigns
- The company & member profile pages plus the vanity url subdomain system
- A handful of mock campaigns and a functioning campaign owner admin dashboard with mock disbursement mechanism
- Mock investments, mock investment dashboard panel with transaction history, privacy settings, etc.
- Most likely much, MUCH more will be available

Once we get the alpha web app out of the way, the documents should finally be where they need to be, along with the new pitch deck we've been working on -- and next stop is the token specs and testnet!
