Re: What do you do with the rewards you received?

Simply all the rewards ive received is waiting that it will put in the exchanges. Then if its value increases in the market then its time to sell it. Rewards are not supposed to be hold for long time, sell it and invest in new icos that will come.

Re: Should I continue hodl my Bitcoin?
by

on 12/07/2018, 14:55:54 UTC
I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?
Dont be upset because your still noty gain loss, the capital you invest in the first place have been returned to you and have been gain an income also. Better hold it starting now because bitcoins value stop going downward. Unless buy more bitcoin now as an additional to your holdings.

Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ?

What are the measures to keep your private key safe and in memory ? Are there any alternatives to retrieve the key back ?
You can no longer withdraw your bitcoin if youlost your private keys and password. Your is still there but no one will have an any access with your bitcoins. So better keep you private keys safe and make a copy as a back up so you can retrieve your wallets in case you forgot your private keys.

Re: Are altcoins from bitcoin?

Bitcoin is different from altcoins but if we based in their values i think there are connected. I see when bitcoins value drops also atcoins value also drops  And it is also the same if bitcoin rises.

Re: It's not too late to sell

I think bitcoin could well reach $2,000 - $3,000 if this $6,000 support get's broken. If you would sell now chances are high you could buy back and thus double your btc holding.

This is not financial advice, just a thought.

And this is not a good year for crypto I believe. Late 2019 we'll see some action.
I think you over concluded it, even if it broke the $6,000 mark It doesnt mean it will go down to $2k-$3k mark. Your prediction of btc price is so low and it is impossible to happen. So why sell your btc just wait for it to rise. What if btc price continue to increase. Instead you doubled your holdings it became a half because of solding it.

Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ?
by
bakekang
on 12/07/2018, 08:15:04 UTC
Because some governments find bitcoin helpful in their nation, it help some people in their society to find income even they have no job. Some governments ban bitcoin because they used bitcoin for illegal acts.

For now, yes i panicked. I dont know when bitcoin will stop going down deeply.  Maybe all of us feel the same way too. Decreasing prices in the market will be a net loss if it will continue. This is a bad situation.

Re: Source of Funds
by
bakekang
on 24/06/2018, 22:31:17 UTC

by

on 24/06/2018, 13:27:21 UTC
I think it will not reach to $1million anymore because of what is happening right now. I dont think if bitcoin will rise rapidly whaT happened last year. And because there is lot of negative news about btc that affects its value.

What will happen on BTC if the government will said that all the bitcoin holder have to pay their tax??
Maybe the expansion of BTC community will get low than usual.
Some countries already implement that bitcoin and cryptocurrecy to be tax. But our government is not for now maybe later if they accept bitcoin as a source of income. For me it is better to be tax so that it will become legal in our country.

We all have seen how bitcoin crossed $20,000 in December . When do you think this will happen again?

I guess it will happen again this year. I know that bitcoin is suffering to go down until now. But before the end this year, bitcoin value will probably reach again $20k or maybe more higher than expected.

From now yes it is hard to detect weather it is a scam or not. Some seems it is a good bounty campaign but when it comes in the middle of the ICO project and token sale it will crash. I dont know what happened, suddenly leave  the project and stop.

Re: How to calculate profit
by
bakekang
on 23/06/2018, 22:48:54 UTC
So lets say I put in $100 dollars. I buy while its at a low of $10,400. The price goes up to $10,400 and I sell. Whata my profit?
You gained no profit because you sold it the same amount when you purchased it.  You will gain profit if sold it with higher price. Total amount when you sold it less the amount when you purchased it and the fee equals profit(if possitive) (if negative then it will be net loss)
