The $10,000 bitcoin

Lingham took an informal survey of hands from the audiences about bitcoin’s future price prospects, and there wasn’t much doubt that bitcoin would surpass $2,000 soon:

“The broad consensus is that bitcoin will be over $2,000 within two years. I’m kind of fearful if bitcoin hits over $10,000 this year.”

Many believe that the $10,000 bitcoin will come in 2014.
.......

Then why are so many bitcoins sold out these days and no one want to buy up these so called cheap "$500" bitcoins?
Why is the bitcoin price dropping from $1200 -> $1000 -> $800 -> $700 -> $600 -> $500 -> $0 and no one buy all these 20% - 50% cheap coins?

Because most of us know that bitcoin is now going to drop to near $0, this is the true voice telling you from your mind, we don't like to admit it, however saddly have to face it

10,000 bitcoins = 1 pizza will happen again soon and Coindesk is just talking bullshit to fool us

the short answer?  no.

no one is successfully going to class action Gox.  Bitcoins aren't real.  What are they going to cry to the government about, a missing computer hash?

not too mention, the governments have been warning people not to buy it for a long time.  Bitcoins don't exist, they're not recognized as currency, so nothing was stolen when you bought "air" with your real money.

 Cool

should we give up bitcoin now?

Re: If Mtgox have big issues I bet other exchanges are in the same position
by

I bet that the same problems with mtgox are with other exchanges.

Beware were you put your money because exactly like mtgox other exchanges will have issues paying their customers.

It is only a matter of time before other bitcoin exchanges show the same hack issues like mtgox, or maybe there was never a hack in mtgox, they were hacked by themselves to take everybody people money.

The best and easy way for a company to shutdown and take everybody money is to tell that they got hacked, they will blame others for their problems, that way people will get mad directly to an anonymous hacker instead of mtgox directly.

The mtgox people are professional scammers and I bet that other exchangers are in the same position.

Relax junior, if the other exchanges are in the same boat we can only hope the beating that MtGox got from the Bitcoin community was enough of a warning to them to make sure they have their code properly written.

the beating that MtGox got from the Bitcoin community was enough of a warning

tell me, what's that? the money we give free to gox?

Re: Karpeles: Petition to remove from BTC Foundation for bad service
by
banaltcoin
on 24/02/2014, 10:34:18 UTC
So are you saying that the Bitcoin foundation is going to drop their current name and vote on a new one?
Right now, the Bitcoin foundation has the "appearance" of being an agent for Tibanne ltd (Mark Karpeles).

That might be why, California, where I live, sent a cease and desist order to your foundation at one time.

I would think that if the Bitcoin Foundation is independent of Mark( Tibanne, Mtgox), then it might be a positive step to
get a domain name that is not controlled by a member, but by the group as a whole.

Looks like they took my advice. Mark has given up ownership of the bitcoinfoundation.org domain name as of Feb 23. 2014.

do you think this is enough for him? should he pay much more than this? btw, did he really give up all the connections with Bitcoin Foundation or just move back into background like his new virtual office?

No. Not enough. Just observing them covering their tracks and passing on the info. I think the connections are still there too. Mark has just gone virtual. He is everywhere, but nowhere.

such an axxhole

Re: Chinese corrupted officers will push Bitcoin price up 1000 times
by
banaltcoin
on 23/02/2014, 17:14:27 UTC
corrupted officers will not want to see his bitcoins baught at $1200 and now fell at $500, corruption money does come easily, they risk their life for those money, so no bitcoin!

You're missing the point, of course they use Bitcoins, just like any other mean available to them. The error is the assumption of one particular amount of money being used for one particular purpose. If they were that transparent they'd have a hard time hiding their money.

no no, bitcoin is just a bad money laundering method for them, they need stable price to keep their money. for example,

100% corruption money -> 97% A -> 96% B -> 95% C -> 90% corrupted officers hidden account, %10 fee is ok

but with bitcoins, the fee are now %60, so wtf, of cause it's possible that there might be a 150% profit too but that's not why they laundered money for, they want stable value and enjoy the rest of their life in Bahamas after all, not another big gambling risk

you really believe that shit? those few protesters in front of mtgox old building's door force mark moved into a Virtual Office?

they have been kicked off site by police already, it's very easy to deal with kind people

in most case, Mark will not claim "some one is going to kill me / i receive death threats", he will say "security concerns / i receive threats", he will only tell in details to the police, if you do think he didn't receive any threats or those threats are not big deals, then it's up to you
