I pretty sure I didn't log into the site but to be on the safe side I've changed my password.
Thanks for the reply!

I recently came across bitcointalk.to opposed to bitcointalk.org and was just wondering if it was a mirror site? To be honest it came across a little phisshy to me.

Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI
About 25,000 fpga cards can work on all algos http://zetheron.com/index.php/fpga-performance-profit/ Several thousand fpga cards already sold by this thread guys + many bought directly. At this moment in public not have profitable firmware and as soon devs will released it - thousands of cards will start mining! I think ROI will be 5-10 years.
Aside from the cost of the FPGA's the effects the on the network hashrate is also my biggest concern.
I've read whitefire990 take on this on his website.
"It is important to understand that based on the daily rewards that a coin offers, it can support a limited number of FPGAs before the FPGAs overwhelm the coin and the profits diminish, as all the miners split a fixed amount of available daily rewards. There is a simple method to calculate how many FPGAs a coin can handle before profits start to diminish. Using Monero as an example, we go to a common mining calculator like coincalculators.io, and find that currently Monero (Cryptonight-7) has a network hash rate of 457 MH/s. We cannot increase that hash rate by more than 50% before profits drop too sharply, so we could theoretically increase the hash rate by 457/2 = 228.5 MH/s. With each VU9P FPGA yielding about 22KH/s, then Monero could support 228,500,000 / 22,000 = 10,386 x VU9P FPGAs before profits drop significantly. There are other coins on the Cryptonight-7 algorithm which sum total to a supported 12,376 FPGAs."
So in theory if FPGA's don't dominate the network hashrates like ASICS have done the ROI should be reasonable. Lets just hope that how it works out practically
Hey everyone I put together a video guide on why I think LOKI has a bright future and how to mine LOKI on Linux / Windows w/ your RX 570 / 580 and Vega GPU
Cool vid. Excited for the project as a whole.

Hi,
Just to let you know that this is the Announcement (ANN) sub forum for new coins/ICO's. You may want to move the post to a more appropriate section.
The option to do this is at the bottom left hand corner of the page. Only the original poster (or mods) can move it.
The project has a good hallmark to become a coin for the future. I'm liking the asic resistences and especially the smart contracts feature. Hopefully you can give Ethereum and Neo a run for their money!

Re: WHY NEWBIES KEEP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION " ITS TO LATE TO START MINING ?
Maybe a "new to mining?" thread should be made with links to things like the bitcoin calculator on it so people can figure out what the profitability of a card/miner currently is.
I realise I'm replying to an old post however a list of online profitability calculators that I compiled.
Is that a reference edition? If yes, then any differences among brands are negligible as they all have the same chipset.
I would highly suggest you do the Soft Power Play mods if you are worried about temps. As long as you have that installed on your rig then you shouldn't have to worry about temps on a VEGA. Just google "vega mining guides powerplay."
No it's not a reference model as far as I'm a ware.
Thanks for info.

Hi,
I remember reading a thread (which unfortunately I'm unable to find again after doing multiple searches) that the Gigabyte Radeon RX VEGA 64 is prone overheating more so than other brands of the VEGA 64.
Is anyone able to confirm this?
Thanks

Hi, According to your website 'Job seekers will be rewarded with slash/coins'. What other coins did you have in mind?
