Upon request of AML investigation, we're obligated to follow the rule. So far, over 19,000 signup users at Basepoker have never done KYC. Although we have KYC feature built inside Basepoker.com, our KYC system has to do with blocking freeroll abusers. We want to stay NO KYC poker site as long as we can.
I never said that i wouldn't understand why you want to keep it there, but i am not sure how your reply defends the "NO KYC" sign, because it sounds like it should say "NO KYC UNTILL WE NEED TO LEGALLY ASK FOR IT". Which basically means no kyc for some people yet.It's still misleading advertising. Many casinos still have non-kyc gamblers, but they don't advertise themselves with NO KYC sign. Or don't you see how misleading that is?
You can currently play poker without KYC at Basepoker.com. That's it. I don't know any poker site where I can play poker without KYC.
You may not be happy with our T&S and you're entitled to think we're misleading.
But I'm quite happy that there is one poker site left that doesn't force KYC. Non-KYC poker experience is what I love to provide to our players.

I see it as a red Flag, that every time where places openly advertise "NO KYC REQUIRED", like in your case, then all i need to do is look at the terms and conditions to see if that's true.
And it never is, because of the regulations.
This next question is not just for you, but since you are part of these casinos that are going with misleading advertising, like so many others, why do you bother to do it? Is misleading advertising worth it?

I think the problem with uneven distribution might actually come down to a small sample size.Quote

This is what iTechLabs for. They run millions of numbers and see if distribution is deviated.

What auditing services do is that they run the algo large numbers and see if the outcome deviates from the standard distribution. That's all there is to it. The real question is... how do you know if they ACTUALLY implemented as what they claim or even worse: how do you know if there's manipulation AFTER randomness generation and shuffling of cards. So far there hasn't been any solution.
Because if you want to let people to verify hands publicly, it would violate hand privacy of every players. No one would ever play in such poker site. So how can we allow public verification while keeping the privacy of player's hand history?
This is why we came up with consensus-based randomness/shuffling along with hashchain.
Hashchain, which is basically a chain of hashes, proves that the seed hash for the randomness cannot be modified. If we modify the seed, people can know.
Then the seed hash is combined with player seed, which is given to each player. Players can edit their player seed at will.
If you want to verify the hand outcome, you need to ask your opponent's player seed. If both agrees to verify, they can do it independently without trusting Basepoker.
What if your opponent doesn't want to verify? Sorry, this is the only limit. This is why we create a way for anyone to open their own private cash game table. Invite your friends and verify together!
This consensus-based verification is the only possible method that does not violate user privacy while publicly verify each hand. There is no room for intervention, modification, or cheating.

Coinpoker has already doing something similar. I dont want to complicate the issue here but the biggest danger is from house players and super users. You can not provide an explanation for the impossibility of super users.
None of this matter though, for example GG poker has none of that lol (they are relying on 3rd party test lab's audit) and I dont have to tell you the numbers there.
What matters is having deep pockets to take risk for some time by running worthy promotions for long time not just few freerolls. One site is offering 500 GTD for $50 buy-in tourney and other is offering 1 million GTD for same buy-in with more advanced variations such as bounty hunter/mystery bounties etc.
Online poker is on the decline anyway because of cheating tools so easily available for an average joe and if you do not do KYC it is impossible to stop cheaters/colluders.
USP can not be 'we don't cheat' it is obvious.
You are correct that it is impossible to technically prove such thing. This goes for every poker sites out there. The test audit has nothing to do with superusers. It has to do with randomness distribution.
I'd argue that players chase recreational players. If high GTD is what makes every other sites obsolete, there wouldn't be any other site other than the one with 1m GTD game. Basepoker is growing 10% a week, which is insane rate. We're proud to build a poker software from scratch that has very high retention.
Regarding KYC, cheating/collusion detection has nothing to do with KYC. We live in a world of AI and machine learning, which makes us very good at detecting fraudulent plays in very cost effective way. As soon as the algo detects abnormal behaviors, the account is blocked and gets manual review.

I can see you guys probably had some conversation with other campaign managers.
I am not sure about any CM but I had a chance to have a conversation with basepoker regarding one potential sponsorship for BTT exclusive tournaments. Unfortunately, I can not disclose more details but I would say that the team base poker is super approachable and quite professional.Good to know that!
I believe most of the casino and sportsbook representatives are approachable only if they are interested in running promotions in this forum. But others just ignore PMs when we try to reach them. It is good to know that the Basepoker team is approachable. They already have a nice-looking and informative announcement thread here, but it didn't get enough attention, probably because they didn't try promotional campaigns. I just reached them and hoping to get some replies and probably we may come up with some kind promotional campaigns in the future.

BTC and lightning are being worked on right now. As a new startup, it's wise to go a niche area first before proving the MVP. If we had BTC from the beginning when our software wasn't as much as now, we would've provided a bad user experience. Now we're confident to bring in big boys.

You have to reach level 22 for that, which is next to impossible. Actual rakeback is 10% (which is quite low) for anyone who wants to play at your platform. You need to come up with some serious rakeback promotions. Please post your detailed rake structure as well. Thanks, I hope you will take it as genuine feedback.

I just checked the platform and registered. The design looks great, and navigation is smooth. Registration didn't take a minute, email received within seconds, which is a good thing because sometimes when you register on platforms, you have to wait for some time before the email arrives, and it also arrived in the inbox and not in the spam folder, which is also good.
I just registered for the freeroll tournament starting in about an hour. I will check the gameplay and then give my review of it. It's a new platform, and it's web-based, so it could be great fun if the gameplay is smooth and user-friendly. I currently play on SwC. Now I will have two places for it if I like your platform.
