With the rise of ICOs also came the rise of the ICO economy, which refers to the economic activity that has sprung out of the boom in initial coin offerings, which require a range of peripheral services to succeed. Developers, copywriters, digital marketers, social media managers, PR agencies, lawyers, strategic advisors, media outlets, and ICO rating agencies are all participants in the ICO economy, and everyone is benefiting.
But then, of course, came the bad players looking to ruin it for everyone... Enjoy!

New Features, Bug Fixes & More!
Update: Not a lot of front end, but a whole lot of back end development this week. We ran into a number of issues on our back end, so we spent a lot of time optimizing our servers so that we can continue to deliver updates to the ICO database. I think you'll like what you see.

I think the question is, "Did you expect the market to keep going up and up with no recourse?
"I think that 90 percent of people here believe in new All time highs this year in late December. But I think that this will be another bull trap. Big investors (whales) will not let you get rich.

Call us the "Metacritic of ICOs" Trust and transparency has always been an issue in cryptocurrency. This corruption was exposed to a large scale recently when it was revealed that Alethena managed to buy fake ratings for their ICO that they had listed on ICO Bench.
There are a countless number of dubious practices and scams in ICOs, and we want to make sure investors get a fuller picture on a project before they decide to dive into their next one with their hard-earned money.
Introducing Basescore
Basescore is our solution to the trust and transparency issue in cryptocurrency. By aggregating over 7,000 review stores from the leading critics in the space, we hope to provide a single, weighted BASE SCORE that serves as a true reflection on how the project actually fares in the space. Basescore aims to take the guesswork out of investing, and provide investors with the knowledge that they need to make an informed decision.
Our goal is to build the world's largest ICO database so that any investor would be able to discover all the information they need on an ICO starting from Basescore.

- A "reverse image search" takes less than 5 minutes and you can easily find websites (on google) that offers such services (for free).
- Duplicate/plagiarized content
- Same as the above line, simply search for "plagiarism check" on google.

Using your website to view ICO projects is free, right?
How are you earning from this platform?
Also, this website is very handy as you can already see the ICO rating of a particular project from different websites.
But, yeah, someone still need to do his own due diligence as basing the score from only few review sites is not a guarantee that they are really authentic ones.

Yes, the website is free! We plan on keeping it that way too for users in the long-term too. We want to build a community of ICO investors who love ICOs and will contribute their questions, thoughts, reviews, etc. together for transparency into the market. What we have right now is just the first step to our grand master plan to ensure users stay engaged.
We definitely want users to continue doing their own due diligence, but we hope that Basescore can become their launch pad to learn more about the ICOs they're interested in. We understand that reviews can come off as shills, so by gathering all of them into one location, it'll be easier to identify the good ones from the bad.
In terms of earning from this platform, right now we're just looking to build the community so we're offering our services free of charge. In the future, we plan on offering advanced data analytics (paid) tools to investors that will allow them to dive deeper and gain greater insights into ICOs, ie. comparison tools, competitive analysis, market analysis, crypto-related news. Tools that are catered to VCs, professionals, etc.
