What about -clgreen 1 ? Why my RX 580 8Gb ignores it? Latest 21.8.1 driver.
-clgreen 1 is currently not supported. Why would you like to trade higher hashrate for lower power consumption and lower hashrate at the current ETH prices?

maybe due to driver?, i find st in this topic https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/issues/1966
From 19.X.X till now all amd gpu drivers support 8gb single memory allocation. You can try installing other driver but your chances are little.
oh, tk u
FIXED: You were right for the driver. Install driver 20.7.1 or later and you will be able to run -clKernel 3. It seems that 8GB allocation is introduced in 20.5.1 or 20.7.1 driver. I have installed 20.4.2 driver on my computer and got the same message as you "clKernel 3 is ignored", and my "Max allocation size" went down to 4244635648.

  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.7b.

Tried the -clkernel 3 on my RX 480 8GB and got lower hashrates than -clkernel 2.
I'm on windows 10 20H2, Radeon Software version 21.6.1
I'm only using the -vmr 25 parameter and -gt 69 as per benchmark suggestion.
Everything else is default.
Your current gt value 69 is not the optimal for -clkernel 3. Put -gt 0 in your settings to find the new best gt value for -clkernel 3. After that you can put -gt NEW_BEST_GT_FOUND_VALUE in your settings.

Thank you very much. I will look into that.

Aaaand nothing changed.
If you have amd rx470/480/570/580 GPUs you will get +0.1mh/s per GPU with -clkernel 3. You will not get increase with Vega, Navi or Nvidia GPUs.
The option -clKernel 3 is ignored for all GPU, when i use -clKernel 3. nitro+ rx570 8g samsung, stock bios.
You are using very old drivers. Update the amd gpu driver.
which version bro? im using 20.4.2

Increase your VRAM to (NUMBER_OF_GPUS+1)*8 GB. If you print the beginning of your log file I will tell you why clkernel 3 is ignored.

Sorry, you can't run -clKernel 3. Your GPUs are some weird model that can't allocate more than 4GB per single memory block.

You are using very old drivers. Update the amd gpu driver.
which version bro? im using 20.4.2

Increase your VRAM to (NUMBER_OF_GPUS+1)*8 GB. If you print the beginning of your log file I will tell you why clkernel 3 is ignored.

This should help

I think that clgreen work only up to some DAG number. Now I mine on DAG #434 (4.48Gb).
And I use latest 21.8.1 driver. Maybe clgreen works only on several set of drivers.
clgreen is incompatible wit clkernel 3. clkernel 3 overrides clgreen.

I tried to use the -clKernel 3  option (Phoenix 5.7b) for various drivers from 18.6.1 to 21 .... but on each of these drivers -clKernel 3 is ignored for all GPU (RX580 Nitro+  8GB Micron and Hynix cards)
Please supply all of your options here.

Put -gt 0 in your settings to find the best gt for -clkernel 3. After that you can put -gt BEST_GT_FOUND_VALUE

2 of my 4gb Polaris card hash rate went down another 2mhs today, -4mhs total, hash rate started to go down 2 or 3 weeks ago.

from 30mhs, current is 27mhs
From 28mhs, current is 24mhs.

Use -daglimit 408
Experiment with the value '4080' to achieve max hashrate.

I really hope Claymore issues an update soon.

I'm getting far less shares with the same hashrate using Phoenix Miner than I was with Claymore's legendary v15 - Something around 15 percent less shares.

Sad times at the ol' rig farm.

Using -rxboost option and amdmemtweak helps a lot.

After seen lot of people having problems now with Claymore, and the big crash of yesterday I have made an easy table of how to continue mining with another miner, that is able to mine with Nvidia and AMD.

....
....
....

or just switch to PhoenixMiner_5.3b_Windows , you basically can use the same Start.bat file , replace
EthDcrMiner64.exe to PhoenixMiner.exe and change the tag before your wallet address from -ewal to -wal .

If you are on windows you should run the miner program as a admin first ...

Completely true... also in the download of lolMiner you have also bat files for ETH, ETC, BEAM, Equihash and other big quantity of algos... and the Zombie Mode for ETH 4Gb cards too.
This smells like spam. I am just LOL on your statement that lolminer is better than Phoenixminer.

Can you show where jgonzi made the statement you accuse him of?  Ive not found it.  I see jgonzi listing ways to run PM or LOL for users with problems on claymore.

I also note the conversation quoted above where you were both disrespectful to claymore and handed your ass in a polite manner by him for your ignorant and false claims.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE THAT CLAYMORE IS SHOWING 1.5% HIGHER THAN THE REAL HASHRATE. IF YOU CAN"T COUNT YOUR SHARES FROM YOUR LOG FILES AND THE AVERAGE STATED HASHRATE FROM CLAYMORE THEN YOU MUST HAVE SERIOIUS BRAIN DAMAGE!!!

By the way PhoenixMiner also offers better zombie mode (with -daglim parameter) with higher hashrate mode than lolminer. Again you are not informed or can't accept the reality.

DID anyone GET A SOLUTION for this: Huh

ETH: CONNECTING TO ETHASH POOL EU1.ETHERMINE.ORG:4444 (PROTO: ETHPROXY)

ETH: CONNECTED TO ETHASH POOL EU1.ETHERMINE.ORG:4444  (172.65.207.109)

POOL LOGIN FAILED: INVALID JSON REQUEST

ETH: RECONNECTING IN 5 SECONDS...

LISTENING FOR CDM REMOTE MANAGER AT PORT 3333 IN READ ONLY MODE

Any idea how to resolve this?

I get it on ethermine / sparkpool / nanopool

without your commandline, your os, what cards, and so on, no one can help you.
Miner doesn't work on nonencrypted port 4444. Use ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555

Same problem as others. Claymore has stopped working on my 10 rx580s. Tried Phoenixminer, it works but doesn't undervolt using -cvvdc. This is causing the rigs to draw too much power. Any suggestions?
Change driver.
