Mining equihash, nothing back from autoexchange for 24 hours now.  The stuff on exchange keeps building and building but nothing comes back.  Is something broken?

What coin are you trying to exchange to? If not a popular coin it is not exchanged as often. They have to wait for a certain amount to add up before submitting to the exchange.

I have the same problem, with coins that until today were exchanged very fast, in 2-3 hours - zencash, zclassic, bitcoin gold and ethereum. It's about 24 hours and no autoexchange.

@miningpoolhub I have not received anything from autoexchange in the last 18 hours - is there something wrong?

how about adding more infos, like the coins/algos/switcher you are currentling using and what coins are you getting paid with ?
I am using Awsome miner with no problems since nicehash crashed, I have Nvidia cards, using mainly equihash and ethhash, and I autoexchange in zcash.

@MiningPoolHub - I switched a few days ago, since NiceHash scam blowup, and I am very pleased.

One request if possible - can you please switch to a SegWit address when making payments? This way is cheaper and maybe you could reduce the fee from 0.0003 to 0.0001 BTC, it would make a lot of small miners, like me, very very happy.

There are blocks found that dont show up on the zcash pool - what is happening?
As of this moment, the last block found on the pool is 200868, but there are many blocks found shown on the block explorer - 200880, 200882, 200884, 200897, 200914 and 200915 as of now.
what is the reason?

is there a way to restart Excavator every 6 hours?

Put quit command in, timed to execute after 6 hours. Combine with autorestart script and you have it.

Like this?:
{"time":21600, "commands":[quit]}
{"time":21600,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"quit","params":[]}

Hi did you get it to work with the timer?
Yes, it works, but I ended up not using it in the end.

Oh okee.
Would you like to share your json file as example?
Its nothing special, just put my address on the default one.

I am facing the following situation, maybe somebody else has found a solution or know what I should look for: all my six 1070 are mining zcash as they should, until excavator crashes (it can take a few minute, or hour or days sometimes) - however when excavator resumes, in the same window, I sees only 5 of the 6 cards. Even if I restart excavator it does not see the other card. Funny thing is - the card is present in device manager.
For the card to reappear, I need to restart the rig, and it's there until excavator crashes again...

Any ideeas?

Dial down your overclock. THis is just the driver failing and crashing for that specific card.

Thanks for the tip - I did, and it seems to work for now.

For all the people that are getting net errors when using pools that aren't NiceHash. That is because Excavator is only using strict protocol specifications. Any deviations out of that will cause something to be broken. If you wish to fix this, contact pool operators to fix their protocol and make it by specifications.

Now, regarding daggerhashimoto compatibility with other pools. Unfortunately, only suprnova implemented protocol EthereumStratum: https://github.com/nicehash/Specifications/blob/master/EthereumStratum_NiceHash_v1.0.0.txt

There is one very good reason why we created this protocol and why we will never support other protocols - with other protocols, duplicates are allowed because miners can work on same piece of work.

I tried several pools and same results, which is a pitty, I would have loved to test doublemining daggerhashimoto with sia and lbry, but I dont mine ETH, I only mine ETC right now, and suprnova doesnt have an ETC pool.
I am currently using claymore dual miner with on rig of 5 Asus 1070, and I get 29Mh for ETC and about 295Mh on SIA, which is pretty neat, you get SIA for free basically.

I am pretty sure contacting pool managers will not result in anything, they are probably happy with the way things are working, no need for them to change anything.

Run with full file logging, then when you see this error, past log file here. We will know exactly whether eu1-zcash.flypool.org or lbry.suprnova.cc does not honor stratum protocol (most likely flypool, we've had issues with their ignorance in past).

I think it is the flypool that is giving this error, I tried mining ETC on their pool, got the same error

      {"id":1,"method":"device.set.power_limit","params":["0","90"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"device.set.core_delta","params":["0","160"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"device.set.memory_delta","params":["0","600"]}

Is there an example how to set the tdp? I have tried it in the default_command_file.json. But is doesn't start.
I have added this to the file  {"id":2,"method":"device.set.tdp","params":["0","60"]} but won't get it to work.

I experienced the same problem - it might be too low a value. Card probably cannot work at that level. Try 70 or 75.

This is how my file looks like :

[
   {"time":0,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["equihash","equihash.EU.nicehash.com:3357","15pxxxHP.jslrig"]}
   ]},
   {"time":3,"commands":[
      {"id":2,"method":"device.set.tdp","params":["0","80"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["0","0"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["0","0"]}
   ]},
   {"time":10,"loop":10,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.print.speed","params":["0"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.print.speed","params":["1"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.print.speeds","params":["0"]}
   ]}
]

It is still running at 100% tdp.

With the "old" 1.1.4a version I got it at 60% TDP drawing 90 Watts.

What I'm I doing wrong ?

Try using power_limit instead of tpd. Power_limit is in watts - I use 120 value, which gives me about 80% tpd on my 1070.
I found out the power_limit is more stable also, with no rejects and hardly ever restarts.

Hi everyone - I feel this is probably a silly question, but I wasn't able to easily see the answer.

I have the nicehasminer gui.    It has come with the excavator version stable.    If I would like to try an alpha version like this one, can I simply replace what is in the folder .\miner\bin\excavator\   with the alpha version?

Is there anything else I must do?   (Please point me to a guide/post if there is one, and sorry).

Happy hashing!
This was answered before - iirc - and no, you cannot swap this version with that one, it would not work. This version of excavator will probably endup eventually in the nicehash miner, but we will need to wait until that happens.
