So that's two thing a few of us seem to agree on Redmine (project management software) and PR Manager, I guess it's up to the Devs to take the feedback onboard

If you check out the screenshot of yesterday's dasource's comments on IRC. He seems to agree that there should be a person in charge of announcements and PR - but he has the doubts that this person might abuse the position - and use it for his own advantage. This is a possibility - that's why we should choose the PR Manager carefully. We should nominate a few trustworthy members of the community and then vote.
we HAD a very good PR guy, coolstoryteller, he set up cloaktalk.org, but he's out of cloak ever since the audit.
kinda like cloako,( the guy formerly with over 30k cloak ) he got disillusioned by the way the devs handled the whole thing and sold it all.
i just remember that line from the movie "jerry mcguire" that goes like this : HELP ME HELP YOU !
I really hope the devs will embrace allyouracid's idea, and yes, all this turmoil COULD have been avoided.
it sucks to witness people like coolstoryteller and cloako go from one extreme to the other, when, if we'd just calm down the rewards could be life changing.......and it would really help investors calm down if we had an intermediary who knows his stuff. cloak COULD eventually be in the the top 5, or better
but not never with this kind of PR let's do this coin justice and fix this I need to say my piece here. The dev team could do with someone dealing with communications however there's no way that they need a project manager. That's just a knee jerk reaction to the deadline slipping, please give the team some space and let them work. Giving them an ultimatum about accepting a PM is just impatient.
For some reason people think by owning a few cloak they can dictate to the devs, try looking at it from their perspective, they have put a lot of hard work and the people criticizing them have not.

I disagree, yes the community supports the coin by buying it, its ridiculous to compare this to development work. if you really wanted to help them offer the help behind closed doors, didn't you think about doing that? Posting here only turns into a negative if they don't accept or respond.

Only if a new dev team is formed and they will do a [REBUILD] there could be a future of CLOAK

like it or not cloak has a good brand and has came a long way in a very short time, it's at times like this that the dev team needs to be strong and committed to their vision. You don't get the amount of haters/fudders cloak has for nothing

No scam, (if I understood it right) only some problems in the anonymous function.-But come on,...in which Software project every coded line works perfect from the beginning,...

Can't the trustless just be added on top of the anon feature?
If it were that easy it would have been done already, to get the anon you are mixing the coins in some way, to mix the coins you are either centralising or creating nodes, which are susceptible to attack or manipulation.
I may be wrong, sure there are others who understand the issue better

The audit failed for trustless, bad news however we've been told about it and now the dev is working on a new improved solution. We have an honest dev who don't give up easily, that's what I've taken from cloak in recent weeks

It's not about closing the thread or leaving it open, it's about boycotting a platform that is counter-productive to crypto growth. I've sent multiple high net worth investors to bitcointalk and all of them came to the same conclusion: this place is a joke. It's no wonder ALTcrypto is having issues finding new money.. This is the first place they come and the first impression is an immature community not ready for high dollar investment or commercial applications.
A general boycott of Bitcointalk's altcoin section by the leading altcoins would make a huge statement: Altcoin is ready for mainstream adoption. The only people that would lose are the FUDtrolls. If the altcoin section of bitcointalk dies, the FUDtrolls lose their platform. If Bitcointalk's mods cared about the altcoin space we wouldn't be having this discussion. All they care about is Bitcoin and Ad revenue. There is a stark difference between the BTC side of Bitcointalk and the ALTcoin side of it.
Bitcointalk's altcoin section should remain the joke that it is: a platform for clones and searchandreplace developers. Imagine if the Bitcoin section of BTCtalk had the same community.. Bitcoin would be worth $10 because no serious investor or company would consider adopting it.
All you have to do is look at www.9gag.com and www.4chan.org, then take a look at the typical ALTcoin thread. Tell me if you see a difference in the content.

Need to be careful not to ostracise some of the market, seriously the coin is not exclusive to serious investors just yet, its still an alt coin. A good moderator on this thread would have made the world of a difference, it's just too much to ask the devs to do this.
I also think it's reactionary to close down the thread based on a few jerks who have appeared in the last couple of weeks, I've found a lot of great info about cloak here and prefer the format to the cloakcoin forum.

We can appoint a willing CLK member to moderate the thread for Or alongside Dagger, to alleviate him from this tedious job so he can focus on working with the DEVs/announcements. A neutral member that can delete what is deemed hateful and/or FUD. Legitimate inquiries and concerns are permitted but we have to face the fact that some useless kids will try as much as they can to fill this thread with poison.

Agreed, leave it open and moderate the fud. It's a simple solution and no one can complain on this approach given the endless posts by users attempting to damage this coin for their own means.

Well drk was a scam with an instamine so i would say that they probably aren't decent people since they potentially stole millions from people who don't know how to use a block explorer... And drk should not be grouped with cloak. They don't deserve it at all. Cloak devs have delivered time after time on their promises.
